I think I remember @Gardener1850 saying she and hubby were taking it.

How’s it going up there? Are you sheltered in place? It seems like so long ago we were worried about our yoga classes...;)

So early in the season for dusting! Wow
Ok, so a plane is flying over my house inland doing some crop dating thing! Should I open my windows or keep them closed?
Is it coronavirus killer?
They haven't used pesticide trucks in 45 years and I've NEVER seen a plane dusting over my house and the lake.
Color me confused!

When I was younger, there was rationing and couponing for gasoline. I remember it was blocks long to get gasoline and we had to sit and wait and wait and wait just to get a few gallons. I believe that must have been in the early 70s? Most people here on this thread probably are familiar with such. Just guessing the age group of folks following this thread. So yes, we have done rationing and we just took it in stride.
That reminds me of Johnny Carson. One night during gas rationing, he complained that his chauffeur had to wait 3 hours at the pump. (Of course it was a joke for a laugh.)

Two Lakers players test positive for coronavirus; more could be tested – Daily News

The team confirmed two positive COVID-19 tests on two unnamed players after the majority of the roster reportedly took part in drive-thru testing at the Lakers’ practice facility on Wednesday morning. The team said neither player has developed symptoms, that they are in quarantine and under the care of the team’s physician.

Two people from the concert tested positive. They could've infected some other college students we kicked out of their dorms yesterday and sent home to various areas. Hard to get the word out now.

Crssd Festival: 2 people test positive for coronavirus

"SAN DIEGO — On March 7 and 8, the Crssd Music Festival welcomed thousands for an electronic music concert at Waterfront Park, despite worldwide concerns over COVID-19. On Thursday, March 19, organizers confirmed that two people that attended the festival have tested positive for coronavirus."
One is my daughter’s friend. She has been sick with a fever and dry cough for 9 days but no one would listen to her or test her until she went in to the hospital in respiratory distress. She is only 27 years old and was in excellent health. Has pneumonia now. :(

Well, crud. I went back on BP meds last week because my BP’s borderline and I heard high blood pressure was a risk factor for serious illness if you get the virus. Now I’m thinking about stopping it. My Doctor doesn’t know. Does anybody know? Is the Sun a reputable source? Is the blood pressure meds story being covered elsewhere?

Sorry, I’m sure you guys have hashed this out already but until this week I didn’t start diving into COCID-19 info. Now I kinda wish I hadn’t.

:(
Please don't stop your meds. If you are on an ACE Inhibitor and you become ill, let your MD know so he/she can assess risk/benefit of continuing or changing while ill. JMO.

Getting the word out, in case they're one of your relatives headed your way.

This is correct. The numbers of infected will grow rapidly as testing continues. It is not reflective of a huge jump in cases, rather, it is indicative of a more accurate appraisal of the current situation.
YES! this bears repeating @stattlich1

Stores are closing, some are closing online sales also. Almost all restaurants are take out only, or have closed indefinately. At least two of our restaurants have announced they might never open.

Kohl's temporarily closing all stores nationwide amid COVID-19 outbreak; other retailers follow suit

I am so sad for your restaurants and their employees. I do not think we'll see as many in the future, after this.

It didn't have to be this way - and maybe we'll still wise up and let people out of their houses in rotation. I don't know.

The young man who died today in Los Angeles, California had returned home from Florida after visiting Disney World, before developing symptoms.

Happy Birthday 10ofRods! Party hardy!... in groups of 10 or less, of course. :p

Yeah, we're a group of 4 (and that includes two dogs). It's about to be Spring! I feel relatively healthy. I'm ready for the next year.

That is odd! Definitely close the windows and stay inside. Seems like if they were doing something like that they would announce it on the news, newspapers.
A guy in the lake got a video.
When he was over the lake he was not spraying only over the neighborhood.
I only have audio.

Look on your county website for a spraying or dusting schedule. It could be for mosquitoes, or some other necessary spray, to reduce transmission of disease. Think Zika Virus. If you can’t find anything, look up crop dusting permits, if they’re online. I would call your county to inquire. Keep the windows closed and air circulation off for an hour. JMO
