Idk. Who knows if they actually had a test. Maybe only a check up. We never really know what goes on behind closed doors. Unless said door is in our home.
Those are really fast results. What did they get? The insta-test?

The sooner the better, while they’re alive, imo.
Anyone thinking some sort hazard bonus of is in order for our essential workers (once this all blows over)? Or even now? Thanks and good thoughts to all of them.

He's completely wiped out, sleeping day and night. The phrase my son used was "never been so sick in my life." That was a 4 weeks ago, but he's still sick. Maybe he's recovered and has after effects, I don't know.
Has he been seen at all? I wonder if he has an infection and not the virus and in need of an antibiotic?

100% NY. Gov Cuomo gives a presser everyday and asks everyday. He even got a promise of a Navy ship, as soon as it gets out of dry dock.
Navy Medical Ship Coming to Relieve NYC Hospitals Was Last in City After 9/11

He also said he could put 1,000 hospital beds in Jacob Javits CC.

In addition, SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Westbury and Westchester Convention Center are also being considered as temporary hospital sites. Those sites will help the state reach a goal of increasing hospital capacity by up to 75,000 beds.

Okay.....what is wrong with this:
Talked with a friend that just left WMT, she had to pick up Rx for her mom. A woman with three children was in line at pharmacy, my friend behind her. When the woman got to the pharmacy window she asked advice on OTC for her sick kids.
Maybe each town/county should have a hotline for people to call & the firemen or LE can deliver stuff?

Has he been seen at all? I wonder if he has an infection and not the virus and in need of an antibiotic?

He did the online test and the next step was phone for an on-phone consult, then schedule a test. That was this morning's info. He can't go to a doctor's office, having just arrived from Australia on Thursday. He's in isolation for 2 weeks. I'll check in with him again tomorrow.

On a different topic, I'm still upset about the UK health care workers and their inability to find food.

Nurses are coming off long shifts, have had little food, have to go to stores and try and feed their families. There's no food in the larger cities, which is where the healthcare is. Specifically, there's no protein, eggs and milk are gone, and no bread. Nurses need the best nutrition IMO. I wonder how it's going in NYC with that aspect.

We've got food banks here that still have food for health workers, but I sure do hope things don't get worse.

'There's No Fruit Or Veg': U.K. Nurse Makes Emotional Plea To Panicked Shoppers

And the work. The WORK the healthcare workers are doing (everywhere). It's crazy.

I'm sure it's the same in NY already. The next week is going to make or break our own nation's responses.

Regarding getting food to health care workers:
Maybe the grocery stores could have a special "instacart" type app only available to those who work in healthcare, or at a specific hospital or care center. Would it help the problem if their groceries could be delivered to their place of employment (hospital, etc.) on a weekly basis? IMO

THE COVID TRACKING PROJECT

Our 4 pm update is published. The US has now completed tests on at least 179,220 people, up 44,035 from yesterday's total.
Note that we can only track tests that a state reports (for now). And not all states report all negative tests.
For details, see: The COVID Tracking Project

New York accelerated past Washington in per capita positive tests. Here’s the top 10:

Washington
New Jersey
Louisiana
DC
Michigan
Massachusetts

Wonder what the hospital cafeteria has they can spare or sell to staff?

You dont get it.....there may not be people left in that church after this is over including the spread of the disease from a church environment. People will die....separation of church and state is worthless when people are dead.
This example from South Korea should be enough to stop this from happening.....but no, Americans believe it won't happen to them...this is pure madness.

S Korea sect leader apologises for virus spread
BBM. No need to be snarky or the personal attack. I merely pointed out that in the U.S. it is church leaders, not any governor, who make decisions about their religious services. You have yet to provide ANY PROOF church leaders in the U.S. aren't acting responsibly and are not following health department advisories. My family and I are are following the advisories.
