Reuters: EMERGENCY DECREE WILL BE DECLARED ON THURSDAY 26 MARCH - THAI PRIME MINISTER

BANGKOK, March 24 (Reuters) - Thailand will be in an emergency mode from March 26 for a month to deal with the coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha told a news conference on Tuesday.

Reuters: The emergency decree will mean the prime minister will have the executive power to declare further measures to contain the virus, including giving extra authority to officials and allowing the setting up of checkpoints to reduce people movements, Prayuth said.

Update: Italy just reported 4,789 new cases & 601 new deaths. Both figures lower than yesterday (5560 new cases, 651 deaths). Grim stats are good news; appears that infection rate is truly slowing. U.S. projects 10-12 days behind Italy IF widespread lockdown is fully implemented.

You shouldn't even flash paper towels let alone t-shirts.

Some people are using the thin elastic hair bands instead of sewing elastic. The hair bands can be cut in half.
