Walking from the chair to the fridge here....:oops:
I'm so sorry, I had too!:D
But you are right; REAL exercise is so important for the mind and body.

I had to radically alter my exercise routine since getting sober over a decade ago. My absolute favorite exercise was doing multiple reps of "12 oz. bicep curls."
For those of you who have the correct "barbells" close by or at a store near you, here's some tips:

So easy to do:
You can tone those muscles while sitting (or slouching) on the couch
Each 12 oz. bicep curl provides an instant reward (yay Pavlov!)
If you need to increase weight, you can do it in increments of 12 oz. / 16 oz./ 40 oz
If you chill your "barbells" they can also be used as an ice pack, or placed against warm cheeks
It's best to work one arm at a time, but make sure to switch hands for a balanced result
Extra benefit: jog to fridge or potty between reps (note: Feel free to teach your dog how to access and deliver a fresh "barbell" to cut jogging time in half)

As always, check with your practitioner before starting any exercise plan!

Depression and anxiety are real. CoVid19 makes it worse. I'm sure a lot of people here have been waking up at night, anxious. Anxiety is strongly associated with suicidal ideation.

I've been worrying about whether I want to go to a hospital, if I'm deathly ill. I have family to talk to about it and ultimately help me make decisions, but not everyone does.

Me too. It's just my husband and me here; our son is several states away. I'm wondering if hospice services will be available to us if we decide not to be hospitalized.

Re: Marci Gras, we know from previous reports the virus lived for 17 days on vacated ship. No reason to think hotel rooms are any dif. So anyone checking in after MG will contract it, IMO. We can assume hotel rooms are not disinfected, especially during high occupancy/turn over & back to back checkouts/Ins.

Has Disney shut down their resorts yet?

Where and how to isolate is a huge gap in the system. We didn't know what to do with my son when he returned from international travel. He's staying at an Airbnb, friend and family are bringing him what he needs in terms of food and extras.

That gap needs to be addressed in every major city across the country fast. Hotel floors need to be reserved for self-isolators and quarantined people, and staff needs to be provided with education and health equipment to protect themselves. The government needs to pay for it at normal rates - not holiday rates.

Was able to score TP at the local Wal-Mart. After a kid threw up two times, during Senior hour. The manager told me they receive TP everyday in small quantities about two pallets. It's usually during the day. He told me to come around 11:30, sure enough, two pallets rolled out of the doors. They had a variety, some Wal-Mart, Angel Soft 8 packs and Charmin 14 double rolls. I was happy they had the 4 for .88 for those they can't afford much.

Seems the best time is during midday to afternoon, weekdays.
Thank you for this information... maybe I will try at lunch time tomorrow - there is a Wal Mart not far from me at work.

CNN)Remember the Louisiana pastor who defied the governor's order not to hold gatherings larger than 50 people?

He held services again on Sunday, and he plans to do so yet again on Tuesday night.
On Sunday, Pastor Tony Spell said, his Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge drew about 1,000 people to its services, in part by busing people in from across five parishes.

(Good information here)

Congress likely to send taxpayers $1,200 checks in coronavirus aid. Here's who qualifies
....
Those payments are expected to be $1,200 for individuals, or $2,400 for those who are married and file income taxes jointly. It also includes $500 per child.

But you have to meet certain qualifications in order to be eligible for the money, based on your adjusted gross income in your 2018 tax returns. If you earn more than $75,000 as an individual, $112,500 as the head of household or $150,000 if you are married and filing jointly, the amount of those checks starts to get reduced.
....
The legislation calls for sending out the payments “as rapidly as possible.” Eligible individuals will receive the funds electronically if they previously authorized refunds to be delivered to them that way. Otherwise, they will be sent out via postal mail.
....

I went grocery shopping on Monday to 2 stores because my delivery was missing many items including paper products. There wasn’t any toilet paper at the stores but I did find paper towels. I never thought I’d have to resort to cutting the roll in half to fit the TP holder but the time for that will soon come. :(

You no doubt already know this, but for those who don’t, it bears repeating:
PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH PAPER TOWELS OF ANY SIZE DOWN THE TOILET.
Unless you are trying to support your local plumbers, bless them, but suffice it to say they have enough work already.

Instead, collect the used paper towels in a small lined garbage pail next to the toilet. Many other nations lacking the luxury of good pipes already do it this way.

This is why i dislike the daily mail

A source said that among theories being considered was that the man's death could have been a tragic accident,

Police refused to comment on suggestions his death was related to Covid-19.

So basically there is no evidence confirming it even had anything to do with covid-19, Their headline is extremely clickbait and misleading.
I have a bad habit of sometimes reading just the headline or subhead of online articles, and I think a lot of other media consumers do as well. I'm trying the kick that habit, and in the process have realized how important that is to do. Even MSM with a better track record (compared to DM) make the mistake of writing the headline to express the most alarming (or unverified) information to capture clicks and views. IMO

If you use Airbnb and hotels to house quarantined people, I don't want to stay there at a later date unless a deep clean is done. And we will never know for sure if it's been used for quarantined people or not. Maybe hotels and others need to list on a website that their facilities were used so we can stay away from them. It's better to not travel for the next 6 months or more.

Quoting my own post for parents or anyone with little ones
I was able to order candy and a stuffed bunny off of Amazon with prime shipping today.

China ordered a strict lock down of the Wuhan. And when they locked down, they really locked down. I can assure you they weren't having coronavirus parties like some idiots in the US do.

Oh you mean like this?

Idiot on left was embarrassed by his outrageous behavior when he saw himself on TV. So he is trying to apologize on social media.

Why do Billionaires want people back to work??? Don't they have enough money without having people going to work with it unsafe.

History doesn't change. During the Plague, the aristocracy wanted the serfs out in the fields. Just drag your self out there and do some work.
