Anxious to hear DeWine presser at 2.
Me, too. Thanks for the time reminder, working remotely and on lots of conference calls, responding to emails, etc., can lose track of time.

It's the drip drip drip. A week ago we'd think your post was a black humor April fools.New York City will bury coronavirus victims in public parks in 10-body trenches if the relentless death toll keeps climbing as officials warn the pandemic is like 'an ongoing 9/11' for medical examiners

I really hope and pray this can be avoided.

Good news for Ohio.
When will coronavirus peak in Ohio? New model projects fewer deaths
According to the latest projections, Ohio is two days away from its peak use of hospital resources. The IHME projects Ohio will only need 1,372 hospital beds and 262 ICU beds to care for COVID-19 patients. No shortage is projected by the IHME.
The IHME projects a peak of 29 deaths per day in Ohio between April 9 and April 12. A total of 544 deaths are projected by August 4.
And who drives the buses? Too bad all of the parishioners can’t hunker down dorm style, together!Must be very long buses...

New measures are set to come into force this week amid alarm over the growing number of confirmed cases in the country.
I just hope things are what they appear to be. Any good news gives naysayers more reason to not isolate. Let us know ASAP, please.I was so happy to read it, AND as @Tillicum pointed out, it will be interesting to hear what DeWine and Acton share at 2:00. Fingers crossed the messages are aligned and pointing in the same direction.
It seems Acton trusts the other model more or at least she did a few days ago. The other model is definitely more grim.I was so happy to read it, AND as @Tillicum pointed out, it will be interesting to hear what DeWine and Acton share at 2:00. I'm "begging" my daughter to leave NYC....Wonder if people living in densely populated areas now will want to move to more rural areas when this over.
Coronavirus: Dalek patrols streets ordering humans to 'self-isolate'
Coronavirus: Dalek patrols streets ordering humans to 'self-isolate'
One social media user quipped: "I'm not going to argue with a Dalek".
A Dalek has been spotted patrolling the streets of a small village and ordering "all humans to self-isolate".
In a video captured by amused residents, the Doctor Who villain passes through the deserted street while ordering people to comply with "the order of the Daleks".
Some thought the incident was some light relief, with one Twitter user writing: "Wildlife is finally returning to Britain's streets. Nature is healing."
"SELF-ISOLATE!! SELF-ISOLATE!!! SELF-ISOLATE!!!!" another wrote.

It’s not just deaths in hospitals which are up. On an average day before this crisis there were 20-25 deaths at home in NYC. Now in the midst of this pandemic the number is 200-215. *Every day*.

A typical hospital morgue might hold 15 bodies. Those are now all full. So OCME has sent out 80 refrigerated trailers to hospitals around the city. Each trailer can hold 100 bodies. These are now mostly full too. Some hospitals have had to add a 2nd or even a 3rd trailer.
