I see 2, 3 & 4. Based on my local news, I don’t believe much social distancing going on in my area. Sure, the stores are open fewer hours, only requiring everyone to shop during condensed hours. Everyone I communicate with that lives in town/subdivisions seems to think all things remain pre Covid.

Dozens of prison inmates and workers are infected with coronavirus in California

Extremist groups are exploiting the coronavirus pandemic, warn national security officials

The way he has handled this has made me livid.

It was obvious from the beginning he was a political hack for China. Imo.

He stupidly even believed them that it wasnt a human to human contact virus.

Plus he poo pooed..it when countries closed their borders not letting anyone from China in. Gah! It's like he is a PR man for China.

No one gives more funds to WHO than the United States. Its replusive as to how ignorant, reckless, and dangerous this man has been, and hes not even a medical doctor.

Imo, he needs to be removed immediately. He has done far more harm for all countrie that are dealing with this pandemic. He's way too busy patting China on the back when China is the very reason countries worldwide are in the worst health pandemic in over a hundred years.

If he's not immediately removed the US should cutoff all funds they receive.

He is the very reason I no longer listen to WHO when he holds PCs.

He's been nothing more than the worst disastrous misinformation spokesperson since this began.

MOO I think many here would disagree and admire Dr. Mike, Dr. Maria and Dr. Tedros. They walk a very fine line not to insult their members. They needed the science first. And I followed China's information coming out on Google Scholar from the beginning. Folks still say their numbers weren't correct, that their deaths weren't correct, that folks on the streets were dying... and complaining how it was awful that the government confined folks on a lock down.

Ummmmm, guess what, the EXACT SAME THING is happening here in the US and all over the world.

That report that they did consolidating over 200,000 cases is to this day being used. MOO We knew on these threads #1, #2, #3 more than most by following such and were ahead of the curve ONLY due to following them and LISTENING to them. MOO. I to this day listen to each and every one as they are STILL ahead of the curve, and let's me plan and understand where this is headed doing so, in addition to following scientists and a few others that are "the canary in the cave" e.g. Cuomo.

Passengers to be evacuated from Antarctic cruise ship after almost 60% test positive for coronavirus

Australian and New Zealand passengers will be evacuated from a stricken Antarctic cruise ship Thursday, after almost 60% of those onboard tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Greg Mortimer, a cruise liner operated by Australia's Aurora Expeditions, departed March 15 on a voyage to Antarctica and South Georgia. Since the beginning of April, however, the ship has been stuck off the coast of Uruguay, after authorities refused to allow passengers to disembark due to the risk of coronavirus.

Of the 217 people on board, 128 passengers and crew have now tested positive for the virus.

A Texas woman was arrested for threatening to spread coronavirus, police say

An 18-year-old Texas woman was arrested Tuesday after she claimed to be "willfully spreading" coronavirus in a series of Snapchat videos, Carrollton police said.

Lorraine Maradiaga later told police she had tested negative for the virus, according to a Carrollton Police news release. Carrollton is about 20 miles north of Dallas.

Maradiaga was charged with making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony, and transferred to Denton County Jail, police said.

Her bond has been set at $20,000. It's unclear if Maradiaga has an attorney.

"As a condition of her bond, Maradiaga is ordered to quarantine for 21 days upon date of release from custody as a precaution," police said in a news release.

China reports 62 new cases of coronavirus

The country also recorded two new deaths on Tuesday -- one in Shanghai, and one in Hubei, the province where the pandemic began.

This brings China's totals to:

• 81,802 confirmed cases
• 1,190 active cases
• 3,333 deaths
• 77,279 recovered and discharged from the hospital

Additionally, 137 new asymptomatic infections were reported, including 102 imported cases. Eleven of the new asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases later in the day.

There are currently 1,095 asymptomatic cases under medical observation.

PM 'responding to treatment' in intensive care

"Boris Johnson is "responding to treatment" for coronavirus as he approaches a fourth night in hospital.

The prime minister was being kept in St Thomas' Hospital in London "for close monitoring" and remained clinically stable, his official spokesman said.

Downing Street said he was not working but could contact those he needed to.

No 10 said a review of lockdown rules would go ahead as planned next week, but the public must "stick with" the measures at what was a "critical time".

A ban on public gatherings of more than two people and the closure of shops selling non-essential goods were among the series of restrictions announced by Mr Johnson on 23 March to tackle the spread of coronavirus.

Downing Street said a relaxation of the rules would be considered "on or around" the three-week mark on Monday, as was promised by the PM when he introduced the measures.

But health minister Edward Argar said the peak in cases must pass "before we can think about making changes", adding: "It's too early to say when we will reach that peak."

The lockdown in Wales will be extended and not lifted next week, First Minister Mark Drakeford has confirmed.

BBC assistant political editor Norman Smith said it seemed "likely" the rest of the UK would follow suit. "

North Korea says it has developed nano-antibiotic masks

"Amid a nationwide emergency anti-epidemic campaign to prevent Covid-19, the Medical Instrument Institute under the DPRK Ministry of Public Health recently developed a nano-antibiotic mask with domestic materials," KCNA reported.
Unlike all of its East Asian neighbors, North Korea has not reported any coronavirus cases.

In the KCNA report, vice director of the institute Ri Jae Dok said that "the newly-developed mask fully confirms (sic) with the technological specifications of masks recognized by the World Health Organization.”

The masks are reportedly treated with a nano-antibiotic solution that helps sterilize and remove germs and viruses, and filters fine dust, according to the report. The masks are being produced at the Pyongyang Medical Appliances Factory, according to KCNA.

Honestly, whenever the world opens back up again I am going to have a hard time trusting that things are safe. My daughter and I half-seriously joke that I am going to be borderline agoraphobic. Sending my son, who has asthma, back to school is going to make me a nervous wreck. Trying to balance my fear and anxiety while being rational and not letting it control me is going to be an on-going process.

Tennessee gets first shipment of 5-minute COVID-19 test kits

This is going to be a huge improvement in testing because it's fast. Until now tests usually took 24 to 72 hours to get back the results. In my opinion that wasn't very useful.

These new machines will give the results in 5 to 15 minutes.

UK is "nowhere near lifting lockdown," says London mayor
