I'll believe it when he gives us some real documentation on exactly how he collected samples. I don't think it's forthcoming - he doesn't sound like a science guy. JMO.
Actually: He is a chemist, mathematician and a doctor...

Dr.

Coronavirus: South Korea scrambles to contain outbreak from nightclub cluster linked to one man

Coronavirus: South Korea scrambles to contain outbreak from nightclub cluster linked to one man
Bars and discos across the South Korean capital Seoul have been closed, after the sudden outbreak raised fears of a second wave.

South Korean officials are scrambling to contain a new outbreak of coronavirus after a cluster of more than 100 cases was linked one man who visited several nightclubs in Seoul.

Bars and discos across South Korea's capital have now been closed, after the sudden outbreak raised fears of a second wave of COVID-19 in a city that has been seen as a model for how to contain the disease.

Mayor Park Won-soon announced on Tuesday that 101 people had tested positive for coronavirus since the latest outbreak was identified last week, with most of the first batch of those linked to one 29-year-old man.

From a customer climbing over a table to others not social distancing, coronavirus pushes Provincetown restaurant to the edge
Coronavirus pushes The Canteen in Provincetown to the edge as some customers ignore social distancing, blocked doorways
“Many people who travel here are not following and will not follow the rules of social distancing unless we do something differently,” Anderson said.
In a post on Facebook, he outlines some of the issues he has come up against during the crisis. He does highlight that the majority of customers are being responsible and thanks those that follow the rules.

Owner of Cape Cod ice cream shop starts GoFundMe for employee who quit after she was harassed by customers for ordering policy during coronavirus pandemic
A GoFundMe has been started for the Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour employee subjected to harassment by customers when the ice cream shop opened during the coronavirus pandemic.

The shop closed again after customers were angry over the ordering guidelines set by the shop. The 17-year-old employee also quit after the incident, the GoFundMe states.

“She was met with an unyielding verbal assault with some of the most vulgar and disgusting words hurled at her, these shouldn’t be heard in a men’s locker room, never mind directed to a teenager,” the GoFundMe states. “In spite of this, she continued to work until the last ice cream was served and then turned in her apron."

The fund was started by the shop’s owner, Mark Lawrence, who said the teenager “has worked for me for the past three years and has always been one of the most hardworking, kindhearted employees and a favorite of many of our regulars.”

This may have been posted already. If so, forgive me:
Virus symptoms multiply as pandemic deepens

It seems this virus has something for evryone, from killing off the old, to starting its attack on younger adults, to infecting our children - all with different symptoms.

How very strange.

I felt as if the casinos would be the first places to fill to capacity. Gambling is a force unto itself.

Dr. Fauci to testify reopening too early risks 'needless suffering and death' from coronavirus: Report

KEY POINTS
  • Dr. Anthony Fauci reportedly plans to warn states Tuesday in Senate testimony that prematurely reopening their economies will cause “needless suffering and death.”
  • “If we skip over the checkpoints...then we risk the danger of multiple outbreaks throughout the country,” Fauci said in an email to a New York Times reporter.
  • Fauci’s warning stands in contrast to President Donald Trump’s eagerness to reopen the U.S. economy.

Sure. Which is what makes this such an odd choice, given the science (from Science Magazine)https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/05/unproven-herbal-remedy-against-covid-19-could-fuel-drug-resistant-malaria-scientists:

But it’s unclear how Covid-Organics is prepared, and IMRA has not reported any data on its efficacy or side effects. (The institute did not respond to a request for comment.) “It is a drug whose scientific evidence has not yet been established, and which risks damaging the health of the population, in particular that of children,” the National Academy of Medicine of Madagascar cautioned in a statement last month.

Despite such warnings, other African leaders are keen to obtain the product. “We will send a plane to bring the drugs so that Tanzanians can also benefit,” Tanzanian President John Magufuli said earlier this week. Denis Sassou Nguesso, president of the Republic of the Congo, plans to “adopt” the tonic as well, according to a tweet by his government’s spokesperson. That has fueled fears that the concoction could drive resistance to malaria drugs.

But we've seen plenty of odd behavior from those who claim science and even medical backgrounds. That's just how it always is. Luckily, the scientific community has norms that lend credibility.

So when he decides to provide the scientific documentation for how he collected papaya, quail and goat samples, as any real scientist would do without thinking, I'll believe it. Not that he or anyone needs to care what I believe :)
