Ok. I hear ya.

I was thinking more along the lines of a bin at the door...

“Want a mask?“ If they say no it goes in the bin.

Would never want someone at risk obviously. Wasn’t talking about direct interaction...

never mind. At least I care.

Over and out
I'm glad you care. It's good to express your passion.

I am so very thankful that you, and so many others, do really care. You all are restoring my faith in our overall humanity. And yet I sigh.

From reading the news, social media and posts on here, I do declare the world has finally lost the plot.

Anyone know when the next super spreader is? I mean rally? Some of these folks do travel to many

There really isn't much to say. Probably if anyone does get the virus, the contact tracers will not be allowed to ask if they attended any political events.

Well it won't be Biden's, that's for sure.

When do the football and baseball seasons start?

Are these washable masks? Because if not, I would not want them after they’ve been handled.

And the kind of people who would collect these to save are also the kind of people some of these folks would love to pick a fight with. There has been violence at these rallies before. I don’t think it’s worth taking a chance of people getting hurt or spit on or anything like that. We already know that anti-maskers are capable of spitting on others on purpose. We see it over and over again. I hope nobody puts themselves at risk of infection to collect these.

In a recent post, 6 campaign members have tested POSITIVE, just before the rally 'so wonder how this spreads'.

Contact tracers in NY were told not to ask people if they attended a protest.

Here's the thing- the virus doesnt care who thinks it is a hoax--; the virus doesnt
care who wears a mask and who doesnt--the virus doesnt care if you are are a
democrat or republican, the virus doesnt care if you are black or white or any other color--
what is inevitible though, is if you gather in a large group of people, especially
lots of people, shoulder to shoulder, whether it be a bar, a church, or a rally
with screaming shouting people- there is no guessing-- the virus thrives
under these conditions and people will get sick and spread the disease
exponentially-- the virus wont reveal itself right away- it could take up to
two weeks, but it will reveal itself, and when it does those denyers of the
power of the virus will know the truth---i feel sorry for the vulnerable
people who will be victims of the denyers---'

Yes, that sort of defeats the purpose of "Contact Tracing". But, carry on...

Well, they did sign a contract. They possibly have most people's names. I doubt they asked for ID, so you could sign anyones name I guess.
I have not heard how they were going to handle the waivers.
I wonder if any cell phone tracing will be done from this location.
Moo

If masks are not mandatory then people will make up there own minds. If they are mandatory (eg. Public transport) they will comply. It even went to the Supreme court today and they upheld that social distancing and masks were not mandatory for this event so individuals are making up there own mind. Some people are wearing them. The majority are not. Their choice. My choice. Your choice. Just like washing groceries. You do or you dont or you isolate your groceries for 3 days. Or you only shop online, or whatever. You control what you can control. You can't control what others do or don't do. You can't shame people into wearing masks you can only mandate it or not.

I read that the waiver had to be signed when you applied to attend. Not sure if that is true though so MOO.

Yep, different rules in different parts of the world.
Here (Australia) if you were at a protest, rally, the question is asked, and statements made whether the Positive case, was possibly infectious at the protest.
Contact tracing huge here.

Due to an increase in new cases, and contract tracing, restrictions are reimposed (the specific problem specified) in my state, to try to control further spread.

Just to clarify, it was the OK Supreme Court that ruled in favor of the rally, not the U.S. Supreme Court.
