You might be interested in this link about current treatments for patients with CoVid published by the BC Centre for Disease Control. The BC Centre for Disease Control is one of the most highly regarded medical centres in the world. I think the article was just updated today and shows a few very current links.

British Columbia has been very successful in their efforts to control CoVid in that province.

Treatments

I just noticed that Australia and New Zealand are credited in the note at the bottom of the page, below the list of recommended and not recommended drug treatments.

"*Recommendations are consistent with guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) (a joint initiative of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM)), the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS), the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Canada (AMMI), and The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS)."

Queensland police investigate crime syndicate involvement after Brisbane women charged with coronavirus border fraud
Queensland police are investigating whether young women at the centre of the state's latest coronavirus controversy were coached by an organised crime syndicate to cover their tracks at the border.

The crime syndicate is allegedly involved in the theft and transport of luxury items between capital cities.

The ABC has been told police are investigating the women's alleged involvement in stealing luxury handbags over two days in Sydney and another two days in Melbourne.

Manchester UK on LOCKDOWN. Makes no sense to leave my adjoining City open. I fear by Sunday the LOCKDOWN will be here and in other parts of the Country too! X

I find it's hard on my stomach too (DH is the same). He absolutely cannot take Vitamin C, but @JaneEyre helped me out with that yesterday (we ordered some Prelief - we'll see how that goes).

Do you know about N-acetyl Cysteine? (NAC) They're using it pretty regularly in hospitals and in outpatient treatment of mild to moderate CoVid, it's part of the chain of molecules that leads from Vitamin D to the boosting of immune cell function. It doesn't smell so good in the bottle, but at least it's not acidic.

Quercetin is in use as well, as it pushes zinc into cells.

Within any luck, all of this will all magically stop aging and also reduce wrinkles!

I don’t know much about NAC. just briefly heard something. Probably from you!

Ben knew best! (He was a scottish guy in Wuhan that we followed daily on the first few threads) He wore always wore swim goggles when he went out and shopping at the grocery at the outset of Wuhan shutdown.

I wear glasses. I stay away from people. I don’t think I will be wearing goggles. Maybe a face shield.

So did I. I thought maybe the isolation had got to them so they went on a travel and shopping spree.

I'm just gobsmacked by this news segment.

Victoria
"The military will go door to door to contact each and every person that has tested positive for Covid-19,"

ETA New South Whales, Marshals in gyms.

Good isn't it. Our military are actually assisting with medicos and paramedics, with testing, with ensuring quarantined people are staying at home and understand their obligations.

Their friendly unarmed assistance is sure comforting to us. Instead of sitting in their barracks they are on the ground assisting their Australian people, wherever a state leader asks for it (after the Prime Minister has approved it, of course).

The military are calling it Operation COVID-19 ASSIST.
Our tax dollars hard at work, helping us.

WATCH LIVE: Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to hold 3 p.m. coronavirus briefing

The Doug is about to hold his weekly presser. Things tend to get heated at the QA. Today was a day of extremes with our Rt being third lowest in the country and percent positive dropping to 11, on one hand, and record deaths reported (although not all from one day) and our appearance on the Harvard "Lock Down Now" list, on the other.

Rt COVID-19

California, Texas, Florida, Arizona and Ohio are all below R0 and join NY. Seems to be more states green now (below R0).

That's good right?

I have mentioned this before, if you filter those results to look at the Top Ten latest numbers (using the filter on the right), the results are very different.

Something is wrong with their figures/graphs and can't be deemed as reliable. imo

I have put a screenshot of the Top Ten graph here, for those who can't find the filter.

This article is referring to restauranteurs in Orange County in Southern California.
Local restaurateurs do what they must to survive in the coronavirus era – Orange County Register

So if a manager asks you to put on a mask, try not to throw a tantrum, says Navarro, because at the moment, restaurant workers have a lot on their plates. “In any industry, but specifically in the food industry, it’s ‘the customer’s always right.’ But right now? Under these circumstances? If you’re not behaving and you’re not being respectful, then you will not be served.”

Made me feel that they really are doing everything they can possibly do to get the virus under control.

With today's news between Fauci recommending goggles in public, Harvard stating Georgia should be shut down and Herman Cain's death, that settles it. We will not be attending our son's wedding in September.
- not a good feeling, but it is what it is.

These 13 states need to lock down now, according to Harvard coronavirus experts
I’m so sorry. Such a gut wrenching decision. We may not be attending our daughters wedding in Oct (SC) either. Hugs.

I just heard this morning that the two girls (actually, three women, the third one is currently unnamed) have been charged with criminal charges and are facing up to 5 years in jail.

They are saying the charges relate to criminally bringing covid into Queensland and disregarding all covid rules.

I must not understand how it works, because the top ten largest shows some of the states that are below 1.0 R. o_O

Yes. Also on Ch7 TV News this morning ... five AUSMAT teams have now taken control of the covid management in aged care homes in Victoria - where the highest number of deaths are occurring.

Australian Medical Assistance Teams (AUSMAT) are multi-disciplinary health teams incorporating doctors, nurses, paramedics, fire-fighters (logisticians) and allied health staff such as environmental health staff, radiographers and pharmacists.

They are designed to be self-sufficient, experienced teams that can rapidly respond to a disaster zone to provide life saving treatment to casualties, in support of the local health response.

I believe that it is displayed as a range, using the coloured marker. From the top range down to the bottom range.
It is not clear why there is a range though. Possibly incorporating different areas within the various states?
Very confusing graphs ... not clear at all .... and all different depending on which of their graphs you look at for the exact same data.

I think the circled state initials are an averaged point of the range of the R0.

So some areas in the state have a high R0, and some areas have a lower R0, then that R0 is averaged across the state.
