IMO Biden isn't blaming anyone. Simply encouraging everyone to use the only tools we have at this time.
Exactly. He's just speaking common sense.

Hmmm. This is the inclusion/exclusion criteria for the study I linked:I already edited my post after reading that they have 60 enrolled in the study, starting in July and have to be aged 18-45. Would be interesting to follow the study though.
Yep just following the ScienceExactly. He's just speaking common sense.
IMO, when it gets to the stage that 'the news' consists of different news media outlets covering each other's coverage, it's time to turn to the sports section or something equally grounded in reality.
Hmmm. This is the inclusion/exclusion criteria for the study I linked:

“@Joe Biden
I’m happy to report that Jill and I have tested negative for COVID. Thank you to everyone for your messages of concern. I hope this serves as a reminder: wear a mask, keep social distance, and wash your hands.”
Glad to see Biden and his wife have tested negative for coronavirus for now at least, however is it not quite irresponsible for him to imply a bit of victim blaming here? he aught to know himself there is NO PROOF WHATSOEVER that masks protect you against coronavirus, even those who take all the necessary precautions can still catch covid-19. I do hope he isn’t suggesting the 32million people worldwide that have caught coronavirus upto now haven’t been “careful enough”
just saying.
I think doctors will be giving them remdesivir right now ... if that is a safe thing to do while asymptomatic.
This probably will turn out to not be a huge concern. I am sometimes amazed that the Queen just lives on and on - but she has the best doctors taking care of her every need, so the world does not even hear of any medical issues (of which there must be a few, at her age, I would think).
IMO
Sure, but you can wear a mask, wash your hands, keep a distance, and still catch covid 19.![]()
Yep. I can speak for myself from back in March. I was exposed to 5 at work. I followed the Science very early in and was mocked a bit at work. I didn't get covid. Seems it worked out well for me.Well, if i could encourage you of anything, it would be to wear a mask, keep a social distance, and wash your hands.

NBC News: President Trump is being treated with an 8 gram dose/infusion of Regeneron's polyclonal antibody cocktail, his doctor says
Also zinc, vitamin D, aspirin and other things.
BBM:
Interesting, marking to research this cocktail.
We had two patients of our clinic who were exposed to COVID. The husband was very, very, sick with all the classic COVID symptoms. Wife had no symptoms whatsoever. Many will test negative today but it doesn't mean they will tomorrow. It's imperative they isolate IMO
I just looked on the WH website but couldn't find that memo. It is also in this NBC updating log link below too though.@Tom_Winter

Also, remdesivir is not without its risks. It is also in short supply (many local hospitals have none of it - and that’s true of the other newer anti-virals and possible therapeutics that get reported on). Here in SoCal, you really need to check out your hospitals (even the USC and UCLA affiliated ones do not all have adequate supplies of the newer anti-virals should we see a big uptick).
However, if I had CoVid, I would definitely want to go to a hospital with a UCLA hospitalist (a doctor who specializes in getting proper resources to the patient from throughout the UCLA system - the nearest one to me is about 40 minutes away).
You can trace back the conversation by using the 'up arrow' on each in the series of posts, no need for anyone to retype it.
Gilead CEO: We're studying new ways to treat coronavirus with remdesivir outside of the hospital
“O'Day said Monday that Gilead this month began trials to look at using IV remdesivir in outpatient settings, which may make it possible to "keep people out of the hospital in high-risk cases."
He noted the California-based company also has been testing the drug, which had previously been studied as a potential Ebola treatment, to be used in inhaled form for Covid-19 patients. Those trials began in July.
"If one could do it without an IV, right to the site of where you get this replication of the virus in the lungs, we're also hopeful that you might be able to treat outside the hospital and prevent patients from ever going to the hospital," said O'Day, who became Gilead CEO in March 2019.”
I have no idea if this is something that is being offered to POTUS and vital associates, but considering how NBA and celebrities were able to get tests when the general public couldn’t get their hands on them? Nothing would surprise me.
