Wish it were longer than 12 hours. And then she goes on a rant on FB about it lol.

"Greene was barred from tweeting for 12 hours from her @mtgreenee account, which remains on "read-only" mode, a Twitter spokesperson confirmed to Insider. Her second account, @RepMTG, was still active as of early Tuesday.

The two tweets that prompted the move were labeled "misleading" by the platform. Greene has previously spread several conspiracy theories, and is an outspoken critic of the vaccine rollout.

In a 34-minute Facebook Live, Greene said she was "pretty upset" and that she was being "censored."

ETA:

"Under the new rules, 12-hour suspensions are given for second and third violations of its policy. A fourth violation results in a week-long suspension, and a fifth leads to a ban." Twitter suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene over 'misleading' Covid posts

Three weeks after it outlined its much-publicised road map for living with COVID-19, Singapore is returning to a partial lockdown for a month .... .... shutting down dining in restaurants, closing indoor venues such as gyms and limiting gatherings to two people.

The south-east Asian city state is recording the highest incidence of new cases of the virus in 11 months with growing clusters around nightlife venues and a major fishing port causing alarm.

The development is a setback to Singapore’s ambition to start dealing with COVID-19 as it would influenza and treating it as an endemic and manageable disease rather than a pandemic.

.. while it has the highest inoculation levels in the region, with 46 per cent of the population fully vaccinated and 73 per cent having received one shot, the rate is not yet high enough for Singapore to confidently take the next step.

Olympic chiefs refuse to rule out CANCELLING Tokyo Games due to Covid | Daily Mail Online

According to this article, olympic chiefs refuse to rule out cancelling Tokyo games

What a great idea that is- Cancel them now--- do this for the good of the athletes and for humanity--There are 71 Covid infections identified so far and you know that number is going to increase exponentially as the days go on. Going on with these games is monumentally stupid- the issue of course is $$$$$$$$$ - Four sponsors have already pulled out.

Vaccine mandates more likely once FDA grants full approvals, health experts say (nbcnews.com)

The regulatory signoff would remove a significant legal and public relations barrier to requirements, former government officials said.

WASHINGTON — The United States could see a wave of Covid-19 vaccine mandates as soon as the Food and Drug Administration grants full approval to one or more of the shots, public health experts predicted.

The three vaccines authorized by the FDA for emergency use against the coronavirus have proven safe and effective under that expedited review process and in the real world, and doctors and the nation's top public health officials have said there's no need for anyone to wait to get inoculated...

One thing has Nothing to do with the other. She's spreading BLATANTLY False information, that Will Kill People.

Hopefully she'll keep going until she reaches the pinnacle of bans that few can achieve.

Her message is monumentally dangerous: she does not care a whit if anyone dies

Yeah! Medcram and Dr. Seheult . Good information on Variants. (Delta variant specifically as being more contagious).

This speaks also to someone saying upthread "there is no PROOF that the delta variant is more contagious etc" (which response previous I had was... all strains had same opportunity yet this one so shortly is becoming the #1 strain in the world... that is as good of proof you can get MOO) Anyhoo..........

I had my long covid clinic appointment today. It was remote, but v thorough. A clinical assessment, then a physio, then a psych. I've been referred for further blood tests, and ECG, echo, sleep clinic and was offered CBT counselling. They basically said from how I presented I do indeed have long covid, post viral fatigue version. I told them I'm sure the jabs helped which they did not seem surprised about.

So pending test results aside, they said as much is still unknown the course they are taking is to advise in line with ME sufferers. Rest as much as possible, dont let your energy levels run down, drop what you can from your daily routine (not easy for me).

Interestingly, issues I reported with my eyes (dry, itchy) and ears (ringing etc) they have disregarded because they are not recognised as long covid symptoms - yet, if you ask me. Also, although I do need to lose weight they said I musnt reduce calorie intake right now. Just eat healthy and watch portions. Apparently "now is not the time".

Hope this may be of interest, I'll let you know how the tests go.

This is bad news. Because if they have 55 confirmed cases in the Olympic village, next week, it could double or triple.

you can count on the cases exploding over the next days and weeks
