You wont find the info in the exact same format. John Hopkins offers the data more visually - while also including numbers.

This page shows the US (and other countries) daily cases and deaths.
Cumulative Cases - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center

This page shows state by state current trending data.
Track Testing Trends - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center

This page drills down to county level, all over the US.
COVID-19 United States Cases by County - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center

Maybe have a look around on their website to see what you prefer?
Home - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center

Thank you for that. Definitely harder for me to read and follow. I'm just weird about getting used to something and not liking to figure out new things. ;)

Well that's interesting though. It also has no update on the numbers in GA since the 13th. I thought the other sites were in error or just slacking.

"A recent study by researchers at Johns Hopkins University found that vaccinated immunocompromised people are 485 times more likely to end up in the hospital or die from Covid-19 compared to the general population that is fully vaccinated. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that about 9 million Americans are immunocompromised."

"Please don’t betray vulnerable Americans and the people who love them. Please get vaccinated."

We are trying so freakin' hard to get ahead of Delta. The NSW premier is telling residents to brace for escalating cases over the next little while.

Poland let us buy 1,000,000 doses of Pfizer from them, to help us out.
Apparently, our allies are not going to help us, which is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow. I read yesterday that the US thinks it is 'bad for optics' to help a first world country.

As a teacher, I'm not willing to let anti-science scaremongers hurt my students or my colleagues. It's time for vaccine mandates in every school.

In this March 31, 2021, photo, freshman Hugo Bautista eats lunch separated from classmates by plastic dividers at Wyandotte County High School in Kansas City, Kan., on the first day of in-person learning. AP Photo

But we must do more to protect our children, especially those who are not yet eligible for COVID-19 vaccines. In the last week alone, according to the report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association, nearly 72,000 cases were reported in children, roughly 19% of the total number of new cases nationwide.

As a teacher I want to make sure that all my students are as healthy as possible. We need to keep school doors open this year, and the best way to do that is by mandating vaccines for staff.

If you have a student that is 12 years or older they too should be required to get a vaccine. States already require immunizations for students. For example, Texas requires seven vaccines for their students, and other states such as Virginia and Florida all have immunization requirements.

To keep schools open and children in them it's not just the effort of teachers and educational staff, but also the community. If a community is not vaccinated, its children are at risk.

As Vaccine Mandates Loom, It’s A Good Time Not To Be A Movie Exhibitor

upload_2021-8-17_8-9-51.png

It’s fascinating to watch local governments — New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Orleans — rush to enact Covid vaccine requirements for entry to the publicly accessible spaces of private business, including, yes, movie theaters.

I’m not equipped to judge the ultimate propriety or efficacy of such mandates.

Our well-intentioned cities and counties aren’t remotely capable of enforcing myriad restrictions already on the books, never mind these new ones.

By and large, the police have limited ability to respond.

Look around. People here and elsewhere quite regularly do these things:

Blow through stop signs.

Dump e-scooters on the sidewalk.

Turn dogs loose on the no-pets beach.

Toss masks in the gutter.

Violate construction permits.

Ignore noise ordinances.

Park in bus lanes.

Camp along the streets.

Defecate in the alleys.

Break liquor bottles wherever.

Smoke or inject whatever, whenever.

Shout blood-curdling threats at passers-by.

Smash-and-grab cars in broad daylight.

Shoplift freely.

Shoot to kill.

   :( o_O

Booster shot elicits strong immune response to delta variant, Pfizer tells FDA

People who received a third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine elicited a stronger immune response to the delta variant compared to those who only completed the two-dose regimen, the company told federal regulators on Monday, August 16th.

I doubt that it will be up to the cities/counties/police to enforce required vaccination for events.
It will be up to the event organiser, or location, and their security guards.

I would imagine that if a prospective patron of these places becomes unruly (about required vaccination to enter), security can then call for police back up, if they can't handle it. Just like they can at bars/pubs.

I swear, SA, it just totally boggles my mind that you guys can't get more vaccine..............
It is just so painful....
But, I, for one, am just so glad you and other Ozzies, and /Zoriah NZ are with us to keep us informed.

No prob! It's good news!

It is really good news-- we were all wondering if we would need a booster and at what point after our second shot--- I suppose this information will become official at some point soon!

The UK snuck a few to you back in April, 717,000 to be precise, despite the EU trying to block it. Shhhh though, it was supposed to be a secret ;)

We hit a milestone yesterday with over 10,000,000 people having had one dose. So we are getting there as quickly as we can. That is almost half of the eligible population. And almost 27% are fully vaccinated.

Yes, it is pretty disappointing that some aren't helping us. It is not as if we are asking for vaccines for free.

But pretty soon Moderna will be helping us out (I think next month), so it will get better.

You’re welcome haha, wish we could have put another zero on the end!

I am rather worried for you guys, but while cases are rising they’re not rising as fast as elsewhere, so hopefully you can keep a lid on it.

I have to say, as a staunch “remainer”, I am disappointed how the EU has behaved through this pandemic. A lot of playground politics has not served them well.

I wept when we voted leave and I’m still pretty upset about it, but the one silver lining is that Britain has had full control over our own vaccine roll out - and who we share them with.
