Teal Swan & The Craziest Wellness Cult Conspiracy You’ve Never Heard Of
I am starting a thread about "spiritual guru" Teal Swan under Crimes in the News. I am fairly new to Websleuths so I hope I am posting in the appropriate place. I realize there may not be evidence of Swan or her followers participating in anything criminal yet, but can't that be said of most cults before something criminal does occur? A podcast by Gizmodo called The Gateway has started to feature on Stitcher as a suggested podcast about cults. The host of the 6 part series is writer Jennings Brown. There is no shortage of discussion about Swan and her followers on the Internet. Most discussions revolve around debunking her many lies and debating whether or not her claims of being an otherworldly spiritual being are real. I am starting a Teal Swan thread on Websleuths because I have been looking for a community w/ an interest in finding evidence of criminal behavior she has already engaged in. I'd love to start a discussion amongst people who are aware of Swan and A.) know she is a total liar and B.) ideally do not believe that infallible, otherworldly beings live amongst at all. In other words, I'd like to start from a place that sets those questions aside, where the only interest is in discussing the criminality in what Swan is doing. I'd also love for this to be a place where defectors or people who have been kicked out of her orbit can reveal criminal behavior they may have witnessed as a follower.
