Could Lee Anthony face charges for obstruction of justice?

I still think Casey acted entirely alone ..
No help from anyone ..

I think she did, too. I just can't understand why a sibling would go to such great lengths to cover for his sister. I thought at first, Lee was really covering up his own involvement, but that didn't make sense either. LE would have been all over his house and searching his car, etc. If Lee is being charged for something, I just wonder about his motive. Was it really to save his sister?

I think LE and the FBI figured out early on that the A's (all of them) were trying to play them-and they just played em back! LE/FBI gave them false compliments and praises knowing full well that if they didn't the A's would just shut up like their murdering daughter did. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall and heard the conversations LE and FBI had between themselves about these clowns. Their (LE & FBI) restraint and self control in the face of the BS the A's have thrown out is AMAZING!!! I know I couldn't have sat there and listened to CA, KC, GA, and LA without wanting to :slap:
:takeabow:LE and FBI:takeabow:

ITA I think it's possible they already knew the computer had been tampered with when they had that interview with Lee.

It could be that KC started erasing and couldn't finish because Cindy showed up.Lee and Casey were in the bedroom alone quite a bit as Cindy was in and out.Casey may have asked Lee to get the computer and erase more stuff.

That's what I think, too. If Lee was looking for his missing neice, his first stop wouldn't have been to retreive KC's things. KC must have asked him to get her stuff.

Lee can't use the money for his "own investigation" or is that what they're calling his living expenses? Lee investigated squat IMO. Was that why he was missing for so long? He was doing what?

I thought it was said that not much was seen of Lee because he had to work and something about traveling being involved in his work. I've never heard of a family member paying themselves to do an investigation out of donations from the public...to questionable. Why not just hire an investigator if they had the money to pay one? Someone that is bonded and certified. Keep everything on the up and up.

Lol, the photo was not fake, it just was not KC, imo. To be fair, I sent it to a colleague that is trained to know if it is fake, or if it could be the person in question, I could not tell myself, I thought it was her absolutely until I hear back.

Plus, why was there only one pic? This may have been a girl that resembles KC, but maybe in the other pics you can tell it isn't her.

The last thing the A's wanted was everything on the up and up.....lol

But someone IS saying they are?

It was all quoted in the beginning of the thread that he was undergoing his own investigation...coming from his attorney no less. I'm sorry, but this family really does think they're above the law...kind of strange considering GA was once a member of LE...or then maybe not.

Why would this raise the hairs on the dectives neck?
I'm not following?
Marla,
In the LA interview Lee is talking about getting to the house just before Cindy arrives with Casey. He said Casey's car was in the garage being aired out and describes that smell as "the smell I smelled for the first time." It is just a very odd way of saying it.He wanted the detectives to know it was the first time, but a more natural way would have been to say"i smelled a horrible smell, like I've never smelled before".The way he stated it made me think he was lying.I guess it's best to read it in context. It's the same interview where he talks about the blue screen and also points out he was gone for two hours ,picking up Casey's stuff from TonE's ,and didn't realize it had taken him that long.Almost like he's pointing stuff out before they question him about it.

Hi Katana, I watched the video of Lee visiting Casey in jail, and I thought he was extremely controlled in his speech and demeanor. And I also thought Casey was very in tune with this which made me wonder if they were trying to give messages to each other.

Very odd I thought, as their conversation didn't seem a like a normal, casual jailhouse visit!

I believe so the more I read. It would be natural.

At least until after she was arrested. In listening to the jailhouse videos between KC and LA, I think he was trying to play her game in hopes of gleening info from KC as to where Caylee was at. Perhaps after she got out on bail, LA began to realize KC did something, or KC told him some story. LA did disappear for a long time and I'm thinking he knew KC murdered his niece at some point or another. Maybe he was hiding stuff from LE then to protect her. This is all just speculation on my part, though.

Yes, yes, yes .. :blowkiss:
I think Lee, George and Cindy all participated in some kind of cover-up ..

ITA I think it's possible they already knew the computer had been tampered with when they had that interview with Lee.

ITA, what is so great is the fact that computer forensics knows exactly what was deleted and just as important the date and exact time the item was deleted. If Casey was being questioned at the A's home by LE, at the time items were found to be deleted, then obviously Casey didn't do it. That would leave either LA or TL doing the deed, considering the computer was left at TL's apartment, and it is fact that LE gave LA permission to go retrieve Casey's belongings from TL's apartment.

I agree. It's like they were continuing their previous discussions which is strange, since according to Lee, he knew nothing about anything.

O I C ..

Thanks .. :seeya:

That picture was the spitting image of Casey, I still sometimes doubt if it was not her.

LA was at the boyfriends house for 2 hours deleting files, right? Then does the boyfriend know what LA was doing and why LA was doing it???? Just wondering...........
if someone I didn't know was in my home doing something like that for his sister, I would be asking allot of questions unless I KNEW WHY he was doing it!!!!IMO

Tony posted on Scared Monkeys that the computer had a blue screen when Lee first looked at it. I think Casey did the file deleting before Cindy arrived.

Both attorneys now have stated their clients may be charged. They are getting out in front of something they know is coming.

I've said this before and I will say it again: This family is setting up to plead the 5th so they do not have to testify at casey's trial. Nowhere have I seen any LE or state attorney even HINT at possible charges against any of the family members, but firts, the Anthony's attorney hints at possible charges and then, LA gets an attorney and hints at possible charges. I don't buy it! They are wagon circling as best as they can. They know that their testimony will sink her - the things they saw and heard, etc., it already has led to the charges against her - and they do not want to have to testify. If they can claim they are at risk of incriminating themselves - BAM: They don't have to say a word. This would make the case against her a bit harder.
