I know for a fact that there have been many, many prosecutions from illegal sales of copyrighted material on Ebay. If the programme makers find out that these kids are cashing in on their work, they won't be interested in cousins dying of cancer.narlacat said:Sure.
But we all copy dvd's, pc games etc...I don't think too much comes of it.
Maybe they do know it is illegal I don't know, one of them has a cousin dying of cancer and is trying to raise funds for her treatment.
Camper said:IF any given person was in the circumstance of flying here and there on a private plane, and had friends whose families had planes, whats the chance someone could be in one state one minute and once they flew over the state line they are in another state, duh, huh. Plus they could sit at their own dinner table with family that night five states away from where they weren't, having waved at the neighbors while walking into dinner with the 'family'. I'd say it would be entirely possible. Concrete PROOF about WHO made the $10,000.00 offer for an accident was not chased down, MOO.
Almost like a Clinton like thingie, about the definition of 'is', er wuz, er wuzen't. He wuzen't 'in' the state.
A person could not be proven to have been someplace if no one they knew saw them, OR if the people who saw them, did not know them. OR IF like on the who done it shows, when the PI drags a picture around to the bars and places where the PI thinks the suspect or hunted person MIGHT have been likely to have visited, and asks, "Have you ever seen this person?"
I donut think Jane Harmer had a picture of the older son, ya think? Woulda been a nice touch for a detective.

Agatha said:I followed this case, but not minutely. Last night was the first I'd heard of the teabag in the glass, nearby the bowl of pineapple. Teabags in glasses, rather than cups, is a mid-East practice. This ties in with the "faction" quote in the note. Garrots are also more common in the mid-East. Perhaps Jon Benet was one of the early victims of terrorists.

Wouldn't you think that BPD investigating a murder case, would have gotten a picture of the oldest son, and found BOATMAN themselves and showed him pictures of maybe 5 or six males, and included the picture of the oldest son to VERIFY his tale? OR would that have been violating someones rights?
Well apparently the only things that musta been done were to contact the Ramseys attorneys, who said the oldest son was not in Michigan during the time of the indecent proposal.
And BPD must have tracked the man by phone to the Waterford PD, somehow. This is all part of the mushroom country that WS'ers live in. Kept in the dark about precise information on the case.
Wouldn't you have thought a high priced attorney would have wanted to provide a picture to totally clear the son, nooooo probably not.
With the law such as it has become, police often have their hands tied behind their backs in many vital areas of an investigation. The bare lightbulb questionings of the past are gone.
When someone comes forth as a potential and VITAL witness, some slack should be allowed for investigative pursuit to get to the heart of the matter, imop.
I sadly missed the program on Court TV! Could someone post points of interest?

When you think of it, no stone unturned, then indeed why wasn't a photo submitted to Boatman? (do we know that for sure?) And yeah I know - why no Christmas videos that year?
I would like to see the picture of the ATM alibi.
Also, who else would know all those kidnap/movie/crime/foreign faction stuff? But a young male student.
Just for fun:
Who else would know NI plus APAC? S.B.T.C = the S.B.T.C Group (the Stop Bombing Thirdworld Countries Group) (the "follow our instructions to the letter" Group).

I needed a good laugh. First of all, I know many, many, good ole Americans who drink their tea from a glass -- and for some it is the preferred way. Secondly, people in the Middle East do not commonly use tea bags. They brew their tea the old fashioned way and usually cringe at the lousy tea bag version so popular with Americans. Thirdly, in the Middle East, tea is served in small glasses (a bit larger than shot glasses) not tall water glasses.
As noted elsewhere, Burke was known to drink tea, and the use of a tea bag in a water glass didn't cause any surprise with the parents, plus his fingerprints were found on the glass, so I think it is safe to concude that the tea was Burke's.
Camper said:Cypros, my daughter in law, brought me two boxes of Turkish tea, and they were both 'tea bags'. She and my son lived in Turkey for two years and are going back on assignment this year. Tea drinkers are persistant, and will drink tea anyway they can get it. imop.

nope, not a drop. It was a closed injury, never broke the skin, just her little skullRPPaolin said:Was there any blood or blood spatter due to the head injury any where in that house? I am just curious.
Perhaps the programme makers read here, checked their facts and edited it out...?sissi said:I watched the program last night when it re-aired. I saw NOT ONE autopsy photo, nor did I hear any mention of male caucasian dna. Was it edited out?
