Circumstances:
Armando Torres III, along with his father and uncle, was last seen on May 14, 2013. Corporal Torres, a U.S. citizen, was visiting the family ranch in La Barranca, near the Los Indios Port of Entry. The FBI reports that the 25-year-old Iraq War veteran, originally from the border city of Hidalgo, Texas, along with his father and uncle, were ambushed by a group of men who forced them into a pickup truck. Since then, no one has seen or heard from them. According to the FBI, there is an ongoing criminal investigation in Mexico, in addition to the international kidnapping investigation.

I'm from Mexico and I know the situation there with organized crime. Apparently, he was kidnapped by the cartel called "Los Zetas," an organized crime group known for its brutality and murders.

The latest information suggests that they took control of part of his father's ranch, using it as a distribution point for smuggling drugs into the United States.
