I keep getting the following message?

These woods are full of scattered trash. Some of the items taken into evidence may have been there since KC was a baby.

Unrelated trash should even be expected to be found exactly where the body was left. I doubt that the person intentionally picked a spot that had no trash nearby.

That's true. They will be examined though to determine if they are in any way connected to the case.

Great data. Thank you.

More interesting almost than the the T.S. Fay numbers are the consistent 1 1/2 in. per week totals for two months straight before that.

That might be enough to have kept the area relatively water-bound during the search efforts.

Sure would be nice to figure out a way to determine spot water elevations over that time.

Fortytwo: those totals don't even come close to the totals that we got at our house. I live in Oviedo, just 20 minutes north of HopeSrping Dr. During the 3 to 4 day period when Fay was 'around', we got OVER 18 inches of rain. We actually had to sand bag our back patio because the water was so close to coming into the house. I know Orlando go more rain during this same period then is shown with those numbers. Anyone else who is local want to chime in on this? I don't know where those amounts were recorded, but I think they are WAY off.

THANK YOU!

Yes, looks like the same kitty in roughly the same area of the site. I accept it could be a different kitten from the same litter. So hard to see fine details of face and body markings at this resolution. Obviously one or possibly a litter of kittens were sheltering around the remains. The first picture WE saw of the kitten was taken after the one we are looking at now, after the tent was erected.
Not sure what you mean by dbl. CP?
I do not see ANY of the features that Bond labels?
I see laundry bag with leaf debris and bits of "black plastic bag" inside the laundry bag, with the plastic looking decidedly grey as many of the samples labeled "black plastic" do.
I do not see any of the bottles etc.

I'm seeing X-rated PAREIDOLIA.

Bond may have gotten those numbers from me when I posted last December, and I cannot for the life of me remember where I pulled them from. :bang:

Since then we identified a weather underground station halfway between Tony's and the Anthony's that we have been using as a proxy for local temperatures in order to calculate the amount of time the body spent in the trunk. I took a look at the rainfall for the weeks in question and they are indeed higher. I will summarize and post up that data later today, multi-tasking as I do my income taxes.

Nice of you to offer, JWG. I just went to the weather underground station and got the daily rainfall for Orlando June-December '08, then totalled them to weekly for brevity. I did a CSV export of the data directly from the site and saved it. I wasn't particular about choosing a specific station...so...perhaps local effects explain the difference in the data I got vs. what your seeing, and Oviedo saw.

I'll email you what I have just FYI. Maybe you'll spot the difference. I wasn't aware of this site prior to your pointing it out in the ADD exercise. So, I might as well learn how to use it correctly if I've muffed it.

Thanks for the summary of bag pics BTW...changing the perspective helps a few of those phantom images vaporize :thumb:

Would you guys share links? Pretty please?

ETA: Never mind, I got it.

Thank you both for replying to my question regarding the "object". - I'm now wondering if the yellow thingy to the right of the "object" is a tag with the number 7 on it. Probably my eyes playing tricks on me yet again!

Enzender...I see what you mean re: "7", but, I'm thinking it really is justa leaf.

See my post above regarding the same item. #711 http://websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3382438&postcount=711

Based on the color & pattern, I believe the object you highlighted actually is sorta rectangular in shape and continues under the green leaf and in the direction of the bag. It appears to have a pink background w/ some black & white diamonds on it. Almost thought they looked like pandas.

Weather Underground for custom date search of Orlando Int'l Airport weather data:
http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KMCO/2008/6/28/CustomHistory.html

Just enter the dates of interest and after the report is generated you can export to a Comma Delimited File using the button @ the bottom of the screen and paste into Excel.

Here's a custom result for the period 6/21/08-12/18/08 FWIW: http://www.wunderground.com/history...008&req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA

NOTE: Since this is Orlando International Airport data it will vary from the conditions @ a specific location. JWG knows a station nearer Suburban Dr. and will be updating us w/ that later.

I take it back. I think the rainfall numbers Bond posted for Orlando are pretty much in line with what I am seeing.

I had started to use the Azalea Park weather station numbers that we have been using for temperature data. However, I noticed they were not always clearing their rain gauge numbers, so their rainfall was artificially high (their temperature numbers are collected by different equipment and are consistent with the surrounding area).

Poking around some I found a station in the Conway part of Orlando, 4.1 miles from the location of Caylee's remains, that had complete rainfall data from June 1 through Dec. 31. A spot check of other nearby stations shows the data to be consistent with this station. The data are also consistent with what Bond posted. Here they are:

The yellow thing next to the laundry bag - that's not by any chance a key tag is it?
I couldn't find a pic of the keys found.

I thought I would slip in some key dates. Others might be able to add more info on the water situation at the crime scene (i.e. TES search efforts and possibly DC's visit).

Hi, treeseeker. There's actually a thread on the key & key ring. It has plenty-o-pic versions like this one. I'll grab a link if I can find it and bring it back here.

FWIW...the key ring is essentially clear and was photographed on the ground.

I found it (key thread) Mr. Bond - thanks.

Pard'n me,
'scuzzze me,
comin' through......

Boy, It's crowded in this room!

Wasn't sure where to put this but since it's crime scene related
(a la The National Enquirer) here's as good a place as any.

I just scanned the latest NE and whether you believe anything or part of what they state (or nothing at all !), it's an interesting read....with crime scene pictures! :)

There is also a one-page article on Chandry Levy in the same PhotoBucket album. OT, I know, I know..... Baaaad Amity :p

Don't forget to enlarge the pic/your screen so you can read the print in the article.

Attached images are from the National Enquirer. Whoa! I don't recall seeing these black shoes and boots in the doc dump. Did they get access to evidence photos that were not released in the docs? Are these the footwear that was recovered from the car? Inside the "sealed paper bag"? Why are we seeing a photo of these sitting in a pile with other black footwear? According to OCSO, the black shoes & boots were in the car (backseat) when they towed it from the Anthony house. Who took the photo of them sitting in a pile?
