So you think that the reasons for law Enforcement's original statements all those months ago about Haleigh possibly being alive and out of state might have some truth to them? Honestly I never understood why they said that back then.

Elle IMO I believe evidence found that morning by LE suggested that HaLeigh could still be alive and that is the theory that LE has revealed to us consistantly since.

Ron has had physical custody of Junior since he was 6 months old and HaLeigh since she was 2.

Crystal has joint LEGAL custody. She was never awarded physical custody in court. She didn't "lose" it, the judge awarded it to Ron after a contested hearing where both Ron and Crystal presented their cases before the judge. Crystal contested the decision with an attorney and the judge upheld the decision that Ron would have physical custody.

Have you read the custody documents that were available online?

If Ronald was receiving Medicaid or food stamps on behalf of the children, that is why the state of Florida pursued Crystal for arreages of the child support. It is an automatic thing with the Dept of Revenue.

The article that you posted ran the DAY AFTER Marie announced on NG that the info came from Connie and Crystal. Connie was not on the scene at 202 Green Lane! GGS was, but she wasn't the one who outed the info, I think your article is proof that GGS knew about the man in a ski mask and asked police about it and the investigators told her JR had been questioned by specialists, etc etc.

BBM-do we know if Connie questioned Jr. about the man in black first or if Jr. brought the subject of the man in black up first and then she questioned him about it more? In other words who brought the man in black up first-Jr. or Connie?

I also want to add that I do not believe that Crystal sent someone in to have Haleigh kidnapped, absolutely not. If the reports are true though and Crystal had her 1st seizure 2 days before Haleigh went missing, I think there is a chance she received her subpoena for the support hearing and was emotionally affected by it. Crystal was in Baker County though and so was Marie, Marty lived in Putnam County and had knowledge of when RC worked and who kept his children while he worked. [/B]Connie told Crystal about the "man in black", she referred to the abductor as only the man in black.....not the man in black with a ski mask. I think Junior said a man in a ski mask and Connie was the one who changed it to a "man in black".

These are all just my opinions and if I am breaking the rules here by using names instead of initials I will delete my posts.

BBM - Morning, I just wanted to say that this is not the terms that come to mind when it comes to Ron and Marty's feelings towards one another. IMO it is more likely that Sarah had the finger on the pulse that surrounded Ron and Misty's life and had the ability to gather inteligence from the children during Crystal's visitations with the children. If there is a will there is a way.

Elle stated in that post that it was all her opinion. However I share the same opinion about MS. MS and RC were not friendly at all, MS accused RC of "stealing" Haleigh from him and Connie. It wouldn't have been that hard to find out RC's comings and goings in a town as small as Satsuma. imo Heck, even the former owner of RC's mobile home said someone could sit in thise woods behind the home and watch and no one would ever see them.

I have bumped my own post to further the thought process of what possible evidence would indicate HaLeigh would still be alive. I have suggested that HaLeigh wet the bed and was a reason for HaLeigh shirt to be removed.... it does show someone cared at that very moment for HaLeigh. The use of the Kitchen light was IMO an inconsistant action in comparison to the propping of the back screen door. If you do not want to be heard or hindered why turn on a light that would definatly get you busted? I do not have to mention that HaLeigh is scared of the dark do I? IMO HaLeigh was able to see who it was that was changing her clothes and removing her from the home.
I have speculated why LE was so hung up on Misty and her story and their precieved inconsistancies with the physical evidence. She states she watched the kids, hung out with her brother got a visit by the A/C man.... she did forget to mention on camera that GGS stopped by, but, we know that LE has been made aware of GGS stopping by and have confirmed that fact. Misty also states she cooked dinner and fed the kids and then put the children down to watch movies so she could wash bed linens for HaLeigh and the master bed. As far as I can tell all has been confirmed as taking place no inconsistancies so I wonder what physical evidence suggests Misty did or didn't do any of these above when they (LE) has confirmed all the above activities as truths? The washing of the blankets and sheets? If HALEIGH WET THE BED BEFORE BEING KIDNAPPED would that constitute Misty is lying about washing her bedding? If a female footprint was discovered and linked to the childs foot print leading to the waters edge not indicate that Misty could of walked HaLeigh out of that Mobile home? What physical evidence found is inconsistant? I also wonder about any forensic evidenc found? Fingerprints,DNA,hair samples,footprints, tire tracks (dirt road),etc. Is it possible the trailer that was held for so long reveals Haleigh is still alive and Misty is the Key, but, 9 months later not who, why and where is HaLeigh and that makes sence? If HaLeigh was taken to be kept safe and Misty is the Key to the mystery I am assuming that LE believes that someone did this in retaliation against Misty or because of Misty. IMO LE has not indicated to the public that Misty is the suspect or actually a part of HaLeighs disappearance.

Why wouldn't Junior know what a ski mask is? I live in Alabama and when the sun goes down in the winter months it gets very chilly. Early mornings are also cold during late November, December and January. We hang our Christmas lights after Thanksgiving dinner, in shorts, taking pictures all the while to send to our family in New York that are shoveling snow and eating pumpkin pie. : )

It is definitely my opinion that Marty S and Connie S knew exactly where their grandchildren lived and other basic information regarding schedules and routines. I could be completely and totally wrong and Marty and Connie might have paid no attention to matters that affect their very young grandchildren. I have no way of determining how present they were in the lives of their family members and must rely, as you do, on the testimonies and statements that they offer in interviews.

Here is the thing though. I do not believe that if there were issues of concern taking place in the home of Ronald Cummings, nobody on the Sheffield side or Griffis side, or any side, didn't take the time to investigate or look into those problems. For instance Connie S would like us to believe that in November she took pictures of an injured Haleigh. She said she suspected those injuries to have come at the hands of her primary caretaker, Ronald Cummings. If Connie and Marty lived just minutes away(according to their address) and never made it their business to look into what was going on in Haleigh and Junior's home, I once again, call bologna. Haleigh and Junior depended on everyone that loved her and if all this evidence existed, even in their own minds, someone would have checked on them, watched over them, perhaps even spied on them, to make sure they were okay. If they didn't I have a problem with that and I also have a problem with them not calling authorities and asking them to take the pictures of Haleigh's injuries themselves.

Alot of people in the South wear these when out hunting as it does get quite chilly in the early morning hours.

Thank you Curve, I have just began looking into the statements of Marty and Connie. As I said yesterday, I never realized that they gave interviews to JVM frequently back then and I really didn't begin reading other blogs or websites until a few months ago.

From what I can gather, it looks like Misty started seeing him around October and they decided to move to Green Lane in November. Regardless it wasn't long after their meeting that she moved in with him. I imagine she was staying with him in October too.

Actually Whisperer, I was reading back thru some old posts of Players last night. He stated that Ron moved to Green Lane on Dec. 1, 2008. IF he is correct, then all this time we thought that he moved there sometime in November. So, I don't know that it makes a difference, but they were only there just shy of 3 months when HaLeigh disappeared.

debs, I thought Misty said that recently as well. Remember all the 'hoopla' when Misty said she thought the 'other side of the family' may have taken HaLeigh? What was that on? I know that it was after Ron and Misty separated because Ron's attorney stuck his foot in his mouth when he made a comment about it shortly after she said it, when he 'assumed' that she was talking about Ron and family, lol! I remember I had to chuckle because I have no doubt he was terrified that she would spill the beans (with good reason imho) and when she said that he was immediatly defensive. :waitasec: JMO and all that stuff...
