Right at the end
"I don't want her to 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 go anywhere, we have enough to detain her"
He says "we don't really have enough to detain her".
I appreciate that they wanted eyes on her right from the off though.

KS landed in a nice Craftsman style house.

There was a lot of noise going on and high tension watching. I was so glad they thought that way about her. No waffling about hemming and hawing, but making sure they would get her and did, found her in the car at that parking lot. Those questions, seething he sounded but tempered it. Good guy and def very upset.

Indeed and it warmed my heart hearing all the cursing.

I could see ways how this could be relevant to the case.
Might not be, of course. Still, harassing your ex mother-in-law is not that common. Maybe what she saw as harassment was connected to someone not agreeing with some of her actions, one way or the other.
BBM:
You may be on to something there.

IIRC: The former principal said that the school was also calling KS besides their calls to CPS and sent LE to KS's house two times.

After LE's second visit KS spoke to LE about filing a harassment complaint against the school and then proceeded to pull her young step-son out of school and the rest is history.

IMO

Her attorney was on Vinny today and he said that all of what is being said about her is untrue. “He wasn’t locked in a room, he had access to food, etc”

A wild ride ahead…

I suppose he was anorexic. Yeah, right.

IMO:

Kaloidis tells Vinnie that all the locks on doors in the photos that were released were there when the house was bought.

It's documented by the school that a lack of food for the victim goes back decades,
Even when KS was repeatedly informed by the school that the boy was hungry all the time , stole food from classmates and was seen eating food out of the garbage she did nothing.
He continued to come to school, dirty, thirsty and hungry with a filthy lunchbox that when checked one time by school it was empty.
KS's attorney can claim whatever he wants and blame the father for it all but it was KS who dealt with the school.

Attorney Ioannis Kaloidis forgets that by blaming the father and that he called the shots it leaves KS as a willing partner in abusing a young boy, denying him a proper education, denying him medical/dental care etc.and interfering with investigations into the child being abused.

I think Kaloidis's defense will be that KS was also abused by the father and lived in fear of him.

It will be awhile if this case goes to trial and as long as the victim makes progress in his recovery it wouldn't surprise me if he testifies'.

A reminder to self why Vinnie Politian is not my go to for anything.

I would have to go back and find it but I could swear at least one article stated prior to his death the father was wheelchair bound? So I am not sure how that (if true) would align with KS being an abused spouse. Not that disabled people can't also be abusive but . . .?

He was wheelchair bound but we don't know what for and for how long.
This is what the victim can tell prosecutors
IIRC:
The father was employeed but I forget what company was mentioned and his 2 brothers who spoke with the media never mentioned that their brother was handicapped.

Wow..thanks so much.

So KS filed for divorce and wanted full custody, child support and alimony.
He wanted all 3 while the divorce worked its way through the courts.
We don't know anything about the victim's biological mom except it was a tough time for her so maybe she couldn't/didn't pay KS child support and alimony therefore she couldn't see her son?

KS & KS may have held this against the victim from when he was a child?
