CT CT - 4 Teens Missing from Hamden, Ages 14-17, 5 Feb 2018 *SILVER ALERT*

HAMDEN, CT — Silver Alerts were issued late Monday night for four teens who were reported missing from Hamden. Mickey Quinones, Angel Lozada, Alexander Kilgore and Tyish Smith were all reported missing on Feb. 5.

Quinones, 17, is described by police as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black sweatpants.

Lozada, 14, is described by police as a white male with brown hair and is 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and white shoes.

Kilgore, 15, is described by police as a white male with brown eyes and is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. There was no description available for the last clothes he was seen wearing.

Smith, 16, is described by police as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

Why is this considered a Silver Alert?!?!?

They were probably considered disabled. Perhaps they escaped from a group home or knew each other from a special education class.

Good catch. So perhaps one source gave the wrong gender? Or maybe not the same person? It's so strange there was seemingly no follow up on if these 4 teens were found...especially since it was a "silver alert". And we don't even have pictures of them.

I think the first article had the wrong gender for Quinones. There were two more Silver Alerts issued for a MQ, one on February 13 and one on March 6 of 2018, both with different descriptions, but some parts are the same. I find it a bit too coincidental.

I found a cancelled Silver Alert for a 16-year-old Alexander Kilgore from Putnam, but I'm not sure it's the same AK that was reported missing in 2018. Putnam police cancel Silver Alert for missing teen
