I've attached her original missing persons flyer her mom created. The police refused to help claiming she "voluntarily" left. Her name is Caitlyn, but she prefers to go by Kat. She has many tattoos. Many piercings. Her hair is usually black and dyed, but it could have changed. Her family is heartbroken and worried about her. I do not have direct contact with the family, but grew up with her and her siblings.
Caitlyn is an addict and it is believed that she is still in Connecticut, likely homeless or staying in opportunistic places. She was last seen at a skate park in Wolcott over a year ago. She has been seen in Middletown. She is very thin due to her physical disabilities and addiction. Her family just wants to know if she is safe and just want to get her help or even just hear from her or know if she is alive at this point. It's such a terribly sad situation, and I think about Kat often.
Her mother's info is here;
