Killer, Rapist To Remain In Prison Until At Least 2016

Boyle, now 50, served 16 years after pleading guilty to killing Louisa Marie Scott, 20, in 1980, and admitting to the rapes of at least two women.

He was released in 1999. By 2004, he was back in prison, convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl. He was released on special parole in November 2009. In March, Boyle was jailed for violating conditions of his parole, including writing letters to another 14-year-old girl. The Scott family wants to see him stay behind bars at least until his maximum release date of 2024.

I'm still wondering when the rights of law abiding citizens to live a safe and happy life will supercede those of the criminals who continue to prey on our youth. He killed a 20 year-old and should have been locked up for good then. Add to it the two rapes as well and it makes the whole situation nauseating.
