The family members of a missing Preston man who has dementia are hoping dozens of volunteers show up at Dolittle Rd. on Saturday to help look for 72-year-old Henry Hood. The family says it has been four weeks since he got out of his house through a basement window.

“(Neighbors) please, please check their sheds, their garages, their boats, their RVs," Hood's daughter-in-law, Kimberly Boyle, said. "Any outbuildings, we need them to check those buildings."

Boyle says Hood was under family supervision at home, where all doors were kept locked and secure, but he got out through a basement window. Now Boyle is leading a volunteer search this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dolittle Rd.

Volunteers Needed To Search For Missing Elderly Preston Man
An organized search is planned for Saturday, Nov. 22, according to the family.
A large-scale search is planned for this weekend in hopes of finding an elderly man who disappeared in late October.

His family is organizing the upcoming weekend search, which will be Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Volunteers are needed. Anyone interested in helping with the search is asked to meet at 13 Doolittle Rd., Preston.
