JS excels at whining!

JS is up for cross. I just popped some Ibuprofen. Too early for other spirits. But, I will attempt to withstand him for this witness.

Ps. At 80MS in those views just shown with PG, that appears to be a concrete driveway. Not asphalt as I indicated yesterday. So perhaps FD just didn’t want a dirty driveway with possible oil leaking from the Toyota? If that is the same residence that was in question/discussion yesterday. MOO
PG assumed it was because of the oil too. But FD needed the Tacoma at 80 MS for his 5/24 departure.

JS launches into the immunity agreement.

JS on the attack, you understand that you can't be prosecuted for any crime.... if he cooperates....

That is untrue as if he perjures himself then iirc he can be prosecuted.

JS is reading the immunity agreement. Asks PG if, the agreement was his understanding, when he was talking to police in June, 2019. Verbal agreement.

JS grilling PG about his immunity agreement... a nice agreement that JS's own client might have been sporting since June 2019 had she been ACTUALLY cooperative, rather than FAKING cooperative with LE.

Does anyone know where to find an EXACT quote of the results of the MIRA search? I can't seem to find it.

Does JS know how to speak in a way that DOESN'T sound argumentative and condescending?

On the latter, it doesn’t seem so, as defense counsel sounds that way when agreeing with the judge. IMO

While I think MT's comment about wanting to "kill that b---- when she shows up" is atrocious, I don't disagree with JS that it would make it seem like MT actually believes JF is still alive. He didn't quite harp on it as much as he should've for a proper defense, but it was my first thought when I heard the comment yesterday.

JS is asking about the statements that he says MT said.

JS says on Jan 4. PG's attorney called the DA's office.

JS pivots to his first statement. Testifies about firewood. PG says he had out firewood in the shed before but this was the first time he helped MT. JS is asking whether he was getting the firewood or the wheelbarrow.

JS is asking about MT being upset that she and her 12 year old had their pictures in the media connected to JFd.

JS now asking him about his internet searches, that FD and MT and her daughter were being blasted in the media.

JS quotes tge statement MT made about JFd playing games, that she'd kill that b*tch when she showed up.

JS asks if PG also believed JFd would show up.

JS asks about JFd disappearing another time.

JS asking about PG helping JFd move, keeping it confidential.

There wasn’t one single statement to wrap up or summarize the search iirc. I believe I quoted the two that I recall happening but there was never a press conference per se about MIRA.

Article marking conclusion of search.

More saying nothing imo by Foley but does have the comment about search being, “worth it”.

HC article about search finding nothing:

I have no idea what to believe fwiw.
MOO

JS brings up the dog. Fotis was very upset. Friendly family dog.

PG said the dog slept under his desk.

PG took Beckham to the vet.

JS asks if MT's father went with him, Carlos T went with because he is a doctor. PG doesn't remember that.

Dog needed to be euthanized. JS asked PG if he knew what that is. Rude.

In what world is, "That b---- should be buried next to the dog," a joke...

  • #36
FD was upset that JFd wouldn't let the children see the dog one last time.

JS: That b*tch should be buried with the dog.

JS asks if he thought he was cheering FD up with a joke.

JS asks if he recalls MT swearing on other occasions. He doesn't recall it.

It could also be a cover up statement too.

Yes, I do remember that being the impression given, I was just hoping if I parsed the statement again we'd be able to figure out if "worth it" was an indication or finding anything or just thoroughness.
