This is interesting comment as I wondered initially if they both just might be malignant narcissists but your point on covert is well taken and I absolutely see it.

What I do think FD and MT share in common is absence of empathy as I think in all the interviews of FD (posted again last week) and MT in the LE interviews shown at trial was either a hollow form of performative empathy or absence of empathy for JF or the Dulos children. I do think alot about why MT's parents sent her away as a teenager for therapy and it leads me to think that they possibly knew about MT possible issues whatever they might from a young age. I just keep thinking about the MT LE Interviews and how there was almost always a deflection and more random babble every time LE circled the conversation away from the non-alibi scripts and JF or any of the children (including MTs own daughter) which I thought was possibly telling and certainly stunning to watch. It was painful to watch most of the LE Interviews again but it helped to get over the poor audio quality and MTs changing diction and even accent which I also found fascinating to see. I wonder if MT stress level simply ebbed and flowed over the course of the interviews and this impacted her speech? IDK but imo it definitely changed over the course of the interviews.

I do think FD made an effort in his interviews (NBC one in particular imo) to 'appear' to be concerned and empathetic about his children but to me it rang false as there was an absence of emotion in his face. MT I believe never even bothered to try to demonstrate any empathy and in fact seemed more visually bothered about LE questioning about JF and the Dulos children or even her daughter and I still keep thinking about this issue as I cannot imagine doing what they did and then shortly thereafter ready to put it in the rear view mirror and move on. But, I do think in the Starbucks video we saw MT leg shaking a bit but IDK if this was simply adrenaline overload, substance withdrawal or nervous exhaustion.

In my reading on narcissism recently I've seen various research stats to say that as much as 5% (article below from Psychology Today quotes 1% so I guess there isn't a consensus amongst researchers on the topic) of the population could have Narcissistic Personality Disorder but a larger percentage could possess strong narcissistic tendencies and the entire issue seems to exist along a continuum too. I haven't seen any stats on percentage estimates of Narcs committing serious crimes such as murder but I keep looking to see if there is research on that topic too.

Another interesting article.

I think if MT disposed of chewing gum on the street like that, it was to dispose of something she stuck in it - a hair, a ring, something. And/Or as noted, she was doing an odd move to try to block from possible onlookers (they did not consider cameras) what FD was doing - and why use that drain instead of garbage? Is it possible that someone, like KM, was meant to pick up the plates at a certain point? Because they were not done with using them for their nefarious schemes? Maybe they would be used to further implicate PG somehow, or used in the planned but never enacted Part 2 to deal with KM's wife.

On the other hand,
MT could have been the
Abuser
Controller
The puppet master pulling the strings
Making FD do what he did …
In one of the interviews with the police, MT says she and FD are "fighting" all the time. MT and her daughter were ordered by the court to leave on the weekends when the FD children were brought to 4JX....There was a language barrier and FD resented it when MT would speak in Spanish when he was around. MT was increasingly involved in her daughter's ski development as she was enrolled in a program in Colorado.

IMO, MT had had it with the divorce, the finances, the custody stuff and was threatening to leave 4JX if FD didn't "fix" the problems. She was pushing him to get the divorce and over and done....take care of her and her daughter...and I don't think she was inspired to spend the winters in CT caring for the FD children while her daughter competed in CO.

IMO, MT had no sympathy for JFD, the FD children, FD's problems, but wanted her needs fulfilled now, or despite her great love for FD, she was definitely "grumpy" about the divorce and custody issues. Her grumpiness, IMO, was a factor that lead to the decision to end JFD's life. I wonder how many times she "wished" she could kill that F.... B....". or simply wish JFD would vanish or be dead. MT was no shrinking violet, shivering in fear of FD. She, IMO, could give as much as she could get.

I agree that the plates may have been part of the "digging the grave site"...at the gun club or were planned to be used by KM.

There is the 20-something second call to KM FD made after dumping the doctored plates that gives credence to some connection between the plates and KM, if not tying KM to the entire clean up operation.

I'm not clear on MT's phone suppression. Is the state saying the info on the physical phone is suppressed, but the info from AT&T should be admissible?

If they were leaving them for KM, it would be interesting to compare the time of this stop with the time FD called KM during their Albany excursion, for example, if they were calling him at that time to let him know the location. But, if the police needed a sewer truck to extract them, it might not have been possible to retrieve them.

If the state agrees and shows mt leaning out of truck to try and hide fd while he dumped the plates in the sewer, wouldn't that show conspiracy?

There was a new motion filed on the issue that was supposed to be heard today but due to Court closure probably will be discussed tomorrow. I was waiting for one the reporters/reposters to post the motions but I haven't seen anything other than SA article on the issue. It should be an interesting discussion in Court tomorrow if that is when its heard. MOO

Yes, I think that is exactly what that means.

Hopefully the State will win since they did get a warrant for her phone records on May 27.

Hi y’all, on the topic of weather, how does it look for trial tomorrow for those in the area? Thanks.

Should be possible imo as the roads are getting better in lower Fairfield County. Snowfall in state ranges from 5”-15” depending on location. The area around Farmington I believe was hit hard and I think reported most snow in state at 15”! Haven’t seen any school or business closures announced for tomorrow but will check later on and post back.

Roads are clear now-I would be very surprised if the weather was a problem with continuing the trial on Wednesday.
