Hi all … decided to jump back into the chat after several years. I’m a local and have lived the case since Day 1. Dog walk at Waveny everyday, seeing the Justice for Jennifer shrine and drive past Welles lane. It all continues to haunt!
Thank you for all your comments and updated insights during this trial. I watch everyday as well and will contribute if I have anything. Hoped to get to courthouse and this trial is truly like watching paint dry but I am keeping high hope alive!

Now I am confused. I thought he drove JF’s Suburban from her house at around 10:30. Was it the same cyclist?

The Judge upholds the integrity of the jury always.

Perhaps he was moved more by the power of appeal. If this ME's opinion is cumulative but also (unfairly) prejudicial, perhaps he hands the future appeal to the Defense. So he rules conservatively, confident the State can present its case and the jury can weigh what is allowed, determining from other witness testimony whether they believe JFd was murdered.

I don't like the ruling.

But I'm willing to place my faith in the jury.

It’s obvious that she is dead, not allowing ME prevents JS from doing a cross examination of ME and all the JS salad which is good. Jury will figure it out.
If JS makes a big point of JF being alive in his closing, I think the jury not going to buy-in to that idea. And, in any event, if she IS alive, what the heck were MT and FD doing on 24th? Why were they chucking bags of her blood-soaked clothes, license plates, bicycle tape, car juggling etc

There will be more motions coming where "esteemed defence counsel" doesn't both to provide advance copies to Court or State is my guess and I sadly don't think this issue is over. I do very much hope that this ruling keeps Mama Troconis off the stand.

But, possibly a cautionary tale about the possible perils of "Family Plan" accounts.....

We shall see and sadly hear more about this I'm sure.

It looked to me that she could have been bending over outside her door checking it out. Wish we had the camera angle from the other side that LE showed in Court but which I can't find. There is another camera I believe that is higher up and in front of the Raptor. I hope we see it in slow motion if this issue comes back into the case.
