I like an easel! And I am not old or an engineer /linear thinker. The easel person can’t be 30.
We had a friend like this too. And in true FD style he put the number of his sidepiece under my husband's name in his phone. He also made a trip to see us but conveniently faked illness so he could hang out with the other woman. They actually stayed together, lol and good luck.Same here-we have known a guy for years, who decided that he could do better than the wife he had, so started something up with another woman. Quit his job, tanked his finances so his wife got stiffed for money, and divorced her. We aren’t friends with him anymore, and he doesn’t understand why.
Hopefully it will be a positive experience for him!My son got called to report for Jury duty @Stamford Superior Court in April and he is 23.
I spent a ridiculous amount of time doing that. My google e-mail is never used.Someone earlier today mentioned setting up a “Google Alert” for when a verdict has been reached. How do I do that?
Type on Google Alert (you have to be signed into Google with an email account). Then type in MT and there will be an option to set it up. Hit the ‘as it happens” option.Someone earlier today mentioned setting up a “Google Alert” for when a verdict has been reached. How do I do that?
I rarely use mine, but have tab for it open now.I spent a ridiculous amount of time doing that. My google e-mail is never used.
Don’t forget KM…he must have been indebted to fD, also.FD seemed to have several types of people in his orbit. Those he could USE (like JF) and those who were indebted to him for one favor or another (like PG - job, others he showed around Greece on their honeymoons, etc.) and those who were SLIME like he was, amoral as the day is long (like MT, attorney Rose, et al).
he was definitely a crossover! Not sure he wasn't SLIME and a cross over!
Agree.Make no mistake I am not dissing on the younger people, at all. They are far more cyber savvy than me. Just saying that sometimes Grandma and Grandpa can add some wisdom, life experience to the discussion.I disagree slightly. Younger people really understand phone technology and could add a lot. How do we know the easel person’s age? I missed a lot yesterday. I doubt very seriously any personal phones are allowed in deliberations. But who knows?
@Megnut did the judge say your wonderful statements to the jury.I hope that wasn't lost on the jury. Showing up mostly in beige for six weeks. First day out of trial, she chooses bold color.
Beige was deliberate.
Harmless color. Unless you're masquerading behind it.
I can't tell you how much I LOVE that Judge Randolph has missed no opportunity to say that this case is about the credibility of the defendant.
It's that simple.
If you believe she was truthful -- that she was forgetful and subjected to suggestion, hunger, ruses, fatigue, a chill, language insufficiency, fear of the police or just misremembering -- across all time, you might acquit.
But if you believe she lied about so much as a single material fact, you can throw out her entire "testimony" with the Petu bathwater.
And if you throw out her testimony (as presented through her own words over three interviews), all that remains is the evidence and the why.
Why lie if the truth can save you?
Guilty.

Ha! I was beginning to think I might need to do the same. Thanks for drawing the low card or short straw! Get a strong nice tea and let it steep! A good while!Unfortunately I’m going to have to suck it up and listen to the actual words spoken by Horn during closing. Searching for more tea leaves …

In truth, the complexity is as a no body case. Those are always complex.Yes agree. The jury owes it to our Justice system and yes even the defendant, to be logical and thorough. As the judge said. This trial has a lot of complexities. JMO
