I am hanging on to the belief there is an engineer-type who insists on dotting every i and crossing every t and that is what is slowing things down.

Beyond what she has done to JFD and JFD's loved ones (which is horrible), she has put her own family through hell and doesn't have the ounce of discretion (or shame) to just hang her head for the 30 seconds it takes for JS to address the press ON HER BEHALF; instead she takes a selfie.

There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with that woman.

I am dumbfounded. What is wrong with these people? Do they even grasp the magnitude of this tragedy? A mother of 5 children is murdered by her ex-husband whom their daughter is living with? Then he commits suicide?

Or, like someone else stated yesterday, they are having sympathy for MT's daughter instead of adhering to the jury instructions.

I'm hopeful this isn't the case, but I've always been more worried this would be a hung jury than her being found not guilty.

Moral clarity is not necessarily a widespread condition, but it is definitely due in this case.

Consideration for MT's daughter is something that should have been a factor in the series of choices MT made that led to becoming involved in a conspiracy to murder another mother. That is in no way corrected by a juror substituting consideration for MT's daughter now. If anything it sends the wrong message: having a child is a get out of jail free card, no matter how awful the offense.

Especially when said parent deprived five other children of their mother.

I made that comment yesterday and I completely agree with all of you. It is my concern that there are 1 or 2 jurors that are on the fence for whatever reason and though they were instructed not to take into account that MT’s daughter, they very much have it in their head. I’m glad they are taking their time if this is the case. Perhaps trying to explain to the holdout their reasoning.

There was a case, and for the life of me I can't remember which, but it resulted in a hung jury, all due to this one anal retentive guy who wouldn't budge. The defendant was clearly guilty, it was a murder case. This guy of course spoke to the press afterwards, several times I think. It seemed he wanted his 15 minutes of notoriety fame.

I will say that if you aren't familiar with the evidence, it could be easy to view her as "the stupid girlfriend" (her own words). Anyone who's dealt with a manipulative, lying, evil narc like FD and been victimized by them could project that situation onto MT, because it could happen. Narcs are wonderful at making you feel both amazingly loved while also ignored at the same time, convince you to do anything for them but make you think it was your idea, and use the actions you took for them against you to blackmail you. It happens every day. If you've been there, it's easy to feel sympathy for MT.

Until you look at all of the evidence clearly laid out. Keep in mind, we also tend to know much more than what was presented in the trial. I believe the state did a good enough job tying everything together in their closing, let's just hope the jury agrees.

I think it is just about impossible Michelle was not manipulated as you described above. Michelle does not make this claim, but look at how Fotis treated Jennifer, PG... ugh!

But what separates Michelle from other victims of such people, such as Jennifer and PG, is that she conspired to murder then covered it up.

Wondering if this jury will entertain media interviews ? I am always interested in hearing how they deliberated or about issues they had to work through. I have fly on the wall syndrome. Do you all believe we will hear from them ?

There is one juror I think we'll hear from and I say that after watching him every week. I'm not so sure about the others. JMO

I don't think someone is holding out there's a lot to process and horn and little horn did their best to confuse them,sometimes jury's take a while . I hope they reach verdict tomorrow but they could take the time to process all the info and be back Monday with a verdict.we have had years to process this case they have had days ,jmoo

IMO, one would have to be either an idiot, a pain in the @ss or a paid “plant” to even question the State’s final closing. To me, it’s a closed case with no room for doubt. Everyone wants to go home, except for this guy or gal.

Another day of deliberations came and went in the Michelle Troconis trial. Around 12, jurors asked for clarification on the charges. Outside of court, her defense attorney says he's not speculating on the timing of a verdict because "nothing about this case is usual."
