Stmfd Advocate article today re her habeas trial witness list.

"...Troconis' witness list for the habeas trial includes Colangelo, Bowman, attorney Norm Pattis who represented her boyfriend Fotis Dulos, who died by suicide in January 2020 while facing murder and other charges in his estranged wife's death.

"...Pawel Gumienny, a former employee of Fotis Dulos, and his attorney Lindy Urson are also on the Troconis list. Kent Mawhinney, a friend of Fotis Dulos, and his attorney Jeffrey Kestenband are also on Troconis' potential witness list..."

Petitioners' amended list filed 12/1/25 was reduced down to 10 names likely to be called -- 6 of which are attorneys.

They moved it a lot closer to where Schoenhorn wanted it-I wonder where her new attorney is based? I hope he’s closer to NYC than Hartford, just to make it troublesome for him.

I recall reading earlier that the Habeas Petition would be heard in CIVIL COURT, and assumed Geo Area #19 at Rockville was the known venue--even though the Chief States Attorney- Civil Lit, located in Rocky Hill, CT.

However, the first Motion filed by MT's attorney (AV Patterson, Wethersfield, CT) on 12/6/24 was a Motion for Transfer from Geo Area #19 at Rockville to the Hartford Judicial District, and Judge Emily Wagner denied the Motion by Order dated 12/23/24.

The Court was obviously not persuaded by Team Troconis' argument to transfer to the Hartford:

The reasons for transfer include the increased availability of the Judge and a courtroom for the hearing in Hartford, as well as logistical convenience for witnesses and counsel. The Hartford Judicial District would be more convenient for the parties and witnesses. The courthouse is also better suited to handle any public or media attention that might focus on this case.

I am particularly interested in KM’s participation in this habeas case and wondering how he can support the claim of ineffective counsel? Is it possible that he could actually provide a statement that supports her innocence? I don’t think she’s innocent, but I’m wondering if he could introduce new facts about the crime at this juncture, claiming original counsel failed to investigate this or that? Looking forward to this discussion in January. It just never ends.

KM’s participation interests me, too. It seems to me that she would want to stay far away from him.

It's a screen.

They know he'll only plead the 5th.

1000 page motion says nothing. Witness list has no teeth.

She had the BEST legal advice in her first attorney. It's not his fault she didn't take it.
