I believe there was a security system panel on the wall in the mudroom, next to the door into the garage. The natural place you would put the control panel. Perhaps she only used it at night, but not during the day as she was coming and going. Or perhaps the kids knew the code and FD found out about the code from them.

I keep thinking about that door from the back yard into the mudroom. That would have been right next to where the Wed BBQ was. That would be another place he could have entered the house undetected and waited for her in the garage.

Here is what I think is her security system panel in the mudroom, on the same wall as the door into the garage:

This is the door from the mudroom into the back yard. FD could have found a way to get into the mudroom from this door and wait in the garage for her to return.

Just as an aside, Tim's group can't be everywhere. They're stretched pretty thin.
Yes I know Tim and worked with him I’m just hoping at some point when LE is ready they will call for searches but I suspect they know more than we do and those types of searches simply aren’t necessary sadly so IMO (based on 3 weeks at the garbage plant)

But also, common sense tells me that digging a hole somewhere deep in the woods (so many options all over CT) would be less risky and labor-intensive... I just really feel deep down that something shady and significant was going on at 80 MS on the day in question... what with the cell phone pings going back and forth from there and considering it appears that he spent so much time there that day... I am sure they have scoured that house and hopefully the sounding property, just saying. It's possible that he left his cell there for a while to make it look like he was there when really he was elsewhere, though. Ugh, this case is so frustrating. At times he/they seem to have been so "savvy" yet at others so incredibly... silly for lack of better word. It's so hard to tell when he/they were just being stupid and when he/they were actually covering their tracks so to speak.
I share your frustration but we need to be patient.

I am really frosted to see he is out on a beautiful day eating sushi.

While his children are waiting for their mother to come home. Waiting and wondering and confused and hoping.

Too sad to even ponder.
MOO.

His sister is 13 years older than him, so that's not her.

You are so right, it's obviously in LE's best interest right now to hold all their cards close. They obviously have way more evidence than we know about right now and are working to build their case carefully and without mistakes since they have the luxury of time.

And the sushi outing with what must be a relative is obviously another stunt - desperately trying to show the public that he has nothing to be ashamed of... right. JMO

Is the photo being discussed at the moment a named POI and is the photo from an MSM source?
If not, the person and photo cannot be discussed.
If so, please post the MSM link with the named POI.

I post this at risk that someone will report me as bossy.

You are very very welcome.

Once you have experience with narcissistic abuse, you want to get on the top of the hills and shout out warnings about it because it is so insidious and destructive.

It takes a strong person to get out and it is not without damage, self-doubt, guilt, regret, a lot of complex emotions that take a long time to sort out. And so sadly, it's not just spouses/partners, but with children who have narcissistic parents.

We need to have high schools teach classes about narcissistic behavior, abuse, and self-esteem.
Schools are not likely to teach psychological issues so we must make it our business to teach at home, as surely as we teach children not to put their hands on a hot stove.

Not victim blaming just wondering:
In a home if that size and price range, and if she felt threatened by her husband:
Why did she move to such an isolated home? The house does not appear to have security entrance gates, it did not apparently have cameras monitoring and recording the property, inside/outside of the home, nor an alarm system that included her garage, a panic button worn around her neck she can press to activate home alarm system if an intruder approached her, also no a private security consultant; Obviously money was no concern for her, or her family, given their lifestyles:
Why were these basic security features missing?:
Do not understand, if she seriously felt her life, and safety, were in danger, why she did not display any outright prophylactic precautions. Did her nanny live in the house full time?
Just, as an interior designer of very large homes and mansions I would say that security concerns is very basic normally and appear to be totally lacking here!
Also, as a prior RN who worked forensics;
Everyone that can afford protection should never overlook this feature... there are many many psychopaths relieved everyday from prisons; do not understand her lack of security/protection.,,

The irony is that most people who live in well-to-do neighborhoods are more in danger from someone inside the house than out. Someone close to the victim has usually done the deed.

Sure, I wish Jennifer had installed some security but it was a rental and not where she expected to stay for the long term.

If he did put her in the trash he must have dismembered her then, right? In order for the body to go in the trash bags without being too heavy or obvious? So if he did that when and where could he have done so? Likely it would have been near a drain like in a tub because I am assuming that would create a lot of mess (blood, etc.).... I wonder if they have searched all bathrooms at all houses available to him for any blood evidence, including her house in NC? What about 80 MS? 4 JC? All of his other properties??

I don't feel like he dismembered her but who knows. I have been more inclined to think he would have thrown her remains in a construction dumpster earlier in day and clean up dump at Albany ave. was round 2 of dumping things. I (obviously) don't know though.

Do we know what kind of bags he was tossing on Albany Ave. ? Garbage bags? If so, black ones/white ones? Grocery store plastic bags? 30 bags is a lot to dump.

If you look at all the photos you’ll see the same panel next to the front door, on the Wall to the right. So likely a security system.

I've read that even sprinkling black pepper can alter what the dogs hone in on but I don't know it to be true.
Matt & Sweat used pepper to hide their scent after the Dannemora prison escape while on foot. Don't know if it would work sprinkled on a truck to hide the decomp smell for these k-9s though.

What good is a security system going to do you when you are suddenly and viciously attacked in your own garage? If murderer is right on your tail your pretty well screwed.

IMO

I also hope LE is searching or already has searched the Reservoir/large wooded area behind 4 JC... there is a lot of forest there. I know it might be too risky/too close to home for him but idk... there's just a lot of relatively uncharted territory back there...
Agreed. I think it eventually gets back to the west Hartford reservoir property. He did ha e poison ivy which leads me to think it’s the woods. Unfortunately.

Perhaps he unlocked that back Dior when he was there for dinner the night before. And maybe she didn’t notice. Then he could have easily entered. You’re right!

NP probable advised him from the get go to do normal things- like sweep, grocery store etc. I do t tho k he’d normally be doing these things. He was living a privileged life. Normally I think he’d be water skiing, water skiing, and water skiing and hanging around with M.

As mentioned in a prior post, maybe JD and her mom, had a plan in place, in case she didn't make an appointment as scheduled. If JD was seeing a therapist, maybe they suggested a plan? I do believe there was a plan in place. GF knew who to call for security, didn't hesitate reporting her missing. JD's family and close friends had a plan set in motion, and acted upon it to protect those kids at all costs. Now maybe, maybe JD was not aware of said plan. Maybe she poo poo'd it, but GF and friends were fearful for JD. They could of set it up without JD knowing. I think Fanily and friends really saw FD long before JD did, unfortunately. That's just MO.

NP knows a trial is coming IMO. He's trying to humanize FD. Maybe try to get one or two people in the public to like FD. Hence, the very public announcement of MT an FD breaking up. Also could FD of been having lunch with a female reporter?
