She should have said “no, I don’t mind”, and then emptied the bank accounts and left.
Easier said than done because women are mostly at risk in DV situations while pregnant or leaving the relationship. I’ve wondered about the medical testing she was having done. Pregnancy test or STD? Sometimes it takes a while before one suspects or has symptoms of either.

I’ve not seen anything to confirm either way; if she had cameras LE would have someone on video in the garage.

I have a Sams Club system, less than a $1000., no monthly fee and like 16 cameras. I can see completely around my house, inside garage, basement and several point to the street.

These systems are cheep, wireless and easy to install. Living alone with the children to protect, just don’t understand.
I don't think it would have made a difference if she had them or not. He would have known they were there and killed her somewhere else.
He was determined to kill his wife and would have just found another way. Imo

What an interesting weekend for information....Things I learned, just because I find such a wealth of "stuff" some of which may have merit:
1. If/when the twitter pictures become MSM we can all see that FD either has his own, newer phone or his lunch companion was sharing, and he'll have one sock that is stretched out by August whatever. I wonder if you can water ski with an ankle bracelet. (If you look at the second picture, IMO, they must be related. Look at the face profiles down to the posture.)
2. NP seems to be trying to bait LE into responding with something concrete about investigation information. And NP, is a master at innuendo and a great wordsmith.
For instance:
“I don’t know how [a relationship ] is possible with these circumstances,” he told The Post.
(Notice, he doesn’t say that MT and FD have “broken up.” He just doesn’t understand how a relationship can exist under the current legal and political situation. He leaves that to the interpretation of the reader and his/her personal bias. Is the relationship impossible because of the media and press or because of the parties' actions.)
3. Other comments in the interview are just as deftly worded and placed. One thing I am picking up from NP is that there is generally a purpose to each interview and a few important comments are made. In one I pointed out earlier the window of time increased to 4.5 hours of unaccounted time. With the forthcoming custody hearing, the smear Jennifer interview popped up.
4. Earlier in an interview with a young woman he clarified he is going to be paid. His comment was "Mr. Green is in the house..."
He also went through a longer discussion of the types of murder charges that could be brought against FD. He definitely included the two types of manslaughter.
14+ Minute video:
5. In the NYPost interview he said, without producing any documentation, that Jennifer had a “troubled past” and “struggled with heroin her whole life.” He claimed she “had a relationship with a person who would import heroin from Cambodia” prior to dating Fotis.
(NP doesn’t directly state that JD used heroin. Being associated with someone suspected of being a drug dealer is very different from the implications of the quote. However, IMO, it might indicate she had a substance abuse problem at one point in her life and the defense will use that against her in the custody and criminal hearings.)
5. At the bail hearing, he said that he hoped it wasn't the children who mentioned the DNA comment by FD and chuckled. He obviously doesn't think the children should be considered good witnesses. NP is adept at using the media for his own reasons. Keep reading between the lines, as I know almost all of you do.
6. I've learned much more about JD this weekend. So pleased to know her better. Caring for 5 children without spousal help 1/3 of the year would be exhausting and alienating. Two children and their schedules and a fulltime job left me exhausted and I have a willing spouse, but he also works fulltime. I know she had hired help, but just listening to and coordinating the activities of 5 kiddos is mind-boggling.
7. JD was a good, caring mother it appears. She was human, IMO, and probably felt some of the same Mom Crazies that every mother who reads this forum has felt. She didn't need a dictator director monitoring and second guessing her actions and desires. I can make allowances for cultural and personal differences, but being married to FD must have extremely frustrating and depressing for her. And, the liaisons and extended affair with MT was an untenable breach of trust.
8. Off to read some more....but, I think FD must have confronted JD as she was about leave for NYC...he may have been outraged that she was taking the kids to NYC, too, was considering moving there, had him billed for the blood test, and/or the outstanding debt to JD's family. We may never know. She may have run from him trying to get back in the house and fallen...or he grabbed her and she fell and hit her head..and we know how head wounds bleed copiously....he panicked....cleaned up the best he could...wrapped her in something....and moved her from the garage in her car.

Yes our cameras run 24/7 and are backed
up into the cloud for 30 days. When we get home from work, we review the day. Or check the cameras from our phones anytime.

Making sure the same cars aren’t driving by and no one creeping around the house. We have 5 cameras. If you kill me at my house. It will be caught on tape. So, your getting caught. You can still do it. BUT. You will get caught.

We are also alarmed with windows and doors chimes - announcing which window or door was opened.

In CT this is fairly standard among my friends. The houses are far apart and people keep to themselves. Not a real neighborhood vibe.
It’s not full proof. Criminals wear black clothing head-to-toe, masks, hair nets, hats, gloves etc. attack in the night and get away on countless occasions unfortunately and cannot be detected on cameras as they don’t lift their heads and move swiftly etc.

Hadn't heard or seen that FD was ordered in court documents, and no confirmation that he has paid / been able to pay for medical insurance for any of his family of 7 (plus MT & her child makes 9) for several years.

Seems very bizarre to me that FD has been photographed twice in New Canaan. I know he has a house for sale there, of course, but he has no other reason to be there. I still wonder if he left her somewhere near her home or Waveny, and for some crazy reason, he is spending time nearby. New Canaan is her town, not his. JMO

You seem to know a lot of the details. Are you aware of any storage units by FD or MT?

If he’s there IMO there’s a reason - interesting ...

True. Anything can happen to anyone...scary.

I'm saddened when I see people buy into Pattis' comments when they have no basis in fact. I think we need to be especially wary of accidental death theories like this one. If your estranged wife falls and hits her head, you panic and call 911; you don't clean up, hide the body and get your girlfriend to help you hide the sponges.

Ah, So she didn’t have to send the kids to New Canaan cCountry sSchool to keep them with their friends because they wouldn’t have known anybody before 2017 .. sheesh she could have gone anywhere then.

Greenwich Country Day School is just as lovely and they have gated communities in Greenwich. Although, outsiders not from Greenwich, will have a very tough time getting into Greenwich country Day school or into one of the gated communities which might be why she decided just to stay in new Canaan

Oh it sounds like those guys were casing your house. Or yes they would have left a flyer.

I have motion detector garage lights also. They are great ! Now I will get a garbage inside camera.

Vigilance .. it’s tiring.

We don’t have the screens on an alarm, that’s also a great idea. I go around and close and lock the windows on the 1st floor every night. But! The other night I forgot, when I came down in the morning, the window to my office was still open from the day before with the screen in place, but it’s on the first floor and anyone could’ve made it into the house without us knowing! I have 3 kids to put to bed etc and a dog and I just forgot ..

But deterrents are the alarm sign. Unmistakable cameras in your face and we have a dog. I thank you for your tips!

All I have is dogs...one of which barks like mad, and is 130lbs, and big enough to reach almost anyone’s shoulders when he jumps, and he does it to everyone. So I always feel very safe at home-but maybe I shouldn’t. I have left the house for extended periods of time during the day without locking the doors. It drives my husband crazy. He even wants me to lock all of the doors when I am home alone here. Some of these stories make me believe he is right. I did find a guy in my yard once, close to my house, and surrounded by my barking dogs. When I went out to find out what he was doing there, my rusty spanish determined that he was looking for masonry work-but he had no business card, no vehicle, and no tools with him. This is when I discovered the value of a good dog.

I thought she did have cameras and a security system.

In the media thread

That photo is NOT Jennifer's house. It is the neighbor's house on Welles Ln.

Jennifer's garage has 3 dormers on top. The neighbor's garage does not and it has that long flat roof line.

We have not yet seen any photos that had cameras on Jennifer's house

You’re right that’s her neighbors house whose cameras are facing her driveway. Good catch. And the google streetview is from 2015 so anything could have changed

Oh no! I always hide people’s bodies if I see that they have died accidentally. I thought I was just being tidy and efficient and helpful. Do I need to find legal representation? Lol...just kidding.

All kidding aside, I know that there have been times that innocent people have been charged with and convicted of crimes they didn’t commit. Best practice is to call 911 and if you worry that you might be blamed have an attorney present when you are question and cooperate fully. That’s the best you can do. You don’t hide the body and the evidence. Only a guilty person would do that. Or someone who (as they say in the south) “ain’t right in the head.” JMO as always!

But it still give us hope that LE was able to capture something from the neighbor's cameras that tell us what vehicles were or weren't at her garage the morning of May 24.

I've read that even sprinkling black pepper can alter what the dogs hone in on but I don't know it to be true.
I read in the KB case in CO, KK intentionally left blood in many places in KB’s townhome during her clean-up as she wanted LE to find it and the cadaver dogs didn’t pick it up.

We also say "his butter slipped off his biscuit". And it did. (What's the Greek word for biscuit?!)

I wonder if she asked him what he was doing with the trash bags and license plates? I wonder if she asked him if he killed JD... and I wonder how he would answer those questions from his niece... MOO
