This picture is disturbing . That’s obviously MT not JD .. There are 8 kids there ... wonder who the other two are ? I thought FD had only supervised visits with the kids ? Pretty sure that didn’t involve a ski trip .

It’s kind of odd to me that a woman terrified of her husband wouldn’t have cameras set up around her home . And that they captured FD and MT disposing of bloody clothes etc... on a four mile stretch but there is no surveillance of the possible routes to and from JD’s home ?
I think you are correct that cameras were there and were possibly removed by LE as evidence. We haven't been briefed by LE so hopefully if/when that does happen that the camera issue will be resolved. But most security systems these days have cameras and given her situation I would be SHOCKED if there was no camera. I am also waiting to see if possibly a FD SPYCAM is found on the property or driveway or Welles as doing something like this seems totally within his 'win at all costs' MO IMO!

I don't believe that JD's body was with his phone pings for more than an hour after she was killed. I believe she was passed very quickly to a second party who took her quite a distance to dispose of her. I think that was the original plan.
And, although I understand that is why LE has searched so many local land and water areas, I believe that is why she hasn't been found and why FD is very confident that she won't be found.
If there was a hand off to a second party - how did FD communicate with them? Would that information be known now -they have two phones, computers, etc. I would think they would have that if true and could be negotiating with this 2nd party if true? JMO
(I do not believe there is a second party other than what we know - MT/FD) IMO

Yes, that pic was stunning as it was his FB pic for quite awhile. Wonder if the Court and GAL were aware of that 'trip'?

Why would you post a picture and leave it on FB when the Court told you that your children aren't supposed to have contact with MT/her daughter? I don't think FD has ever met a rule that he felt applied to him?

IMO FD didn’t drive a car up to the house. He parked elsewhere came up behind the house ambushed her and drove JD’s body to another location then dumped her car at the park. Neighborhood is a cul de sac and to have “strange” cars in and out I think would attract attention and possibly get caught on one of the neighbor’s cameras. I cannot imagine that there is not one camera in that neighborhood. I also agree with the poster that it doesn’t seem likely that someone with means and in fear of her and her children’s safety going through a contentious divorce wouldn’t have a camera or several cameras inside( ie nanny cam) and outside the house.

We've debated this quite alot and there are many POV. Could it have been as simple as him parking his car at Waveny, jogging or getting a ride to Welles and then using JD Suburban to drive the body and clean up bags back to Waveny? While the Merritt doesn't seem to be the best route to avoid detection maybe there aren't any cameras and from the Waveny/Lapham location someone can be on the Merritt in less than 5 min. and heading either North or South.

I'm not sure how you do this undetected but maybe it was a holiday weekend and people were heading out of town and weren't at the park? Its hard to generalize but most of the time during the day there is usually at least one car parked on Lapham. This weekend there were at least 7 cars parked there midday which isn't unusual if the weather is good.

Now that’s a theory I hadn’t thought of . He approached on foot . Good thinking ! That would make more sense .

Every time I start thinking of the possibilities I remind myself to start with the most simple first. Because while we are out coming up with intricate plans the answer was right in front of our face. Defense strategy right now may be to cause us to look elsewhere, overwhelm us with possibilities, and then cause frustration and defeat. And yet the answer is right in front of us still.
Well-put!
During the first week of this thread, a couple of people referenced Occam's Razor. Being green to this all, I had to look it up... and yes, makes perfect sense.
Occam's razor - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I love this simple example given:
"Two trees have fallen down during a windy night. Think about these two possible explanations:
  1. The wind has blown them down.
  2. Two meteorites have each taken one tree down and, after striking the trees, hit each other removing any trace of themselves.[13]
Even though both are possible, several other unlikely things would also need to happen for the meteorites to have knocked the trees down, for example: they would have to hit each other and not leave any marks. In addition, meteorites are fairly rare. Since this second explanation needs several assumptions to all be true, it is probably the wrong answer. Occam's razor tells us the wind blew the trees down, because this is the simplest answer therefore probably the right one."
To @afitzy's earlier point, Pitter Pattis keeps squawking about stardust, while rational-minded individuals are looking for answers about dirt that's already been dug up. Keep up with this nonsense, because we are all paying attention...

Certainly possible, but that would speak to his cunning/planning and I just don't think he's capable of that - this whole thing happened very quickly on the 24th - I have my doubts about the morning of the 25th but that is a possibility IMO. I think he used that Wednesday gathering to scope things out one final time and he ambushed her Friday morning - put her in her SUV (did he bring tarps?) - hid her at the NC property he owns - drove her SUV back to the park - then either was met or picked up the other vehicle (either the employee vehicle or one of his own) and drove back to the property in NC. From there, I'm stumped - did he drive by the water ski pond and drop in a murder weapon? in broad daylight? What about the reservoir? What was he doing at his JC property (anything? why was MT with LE in the backyard?) - finally where did he leave her body? if there is an accomplice, will this person talk? so many questions.... all my speculation.

The praise for Fulos by Greek water skiing lady who of course owns the place where they used to ski in summers is equivalent to praise from Abby Lee Miller of Dance Moms. Read instead the sworn court docs from JD regarding how that competitive sporting actually went. Typical psychopathic narcissistic parenting by Fulos. MOO

Narcissists love having kids around. Kids have weak boundaries and are easy to pit against each other. MOO

Just read the linked article and see that JD did get a PO but was unsuccessful in getting the protection order extended after several hearings. But it appears that the PO only covered the children, not herself. I also question whether the children had forensic interviews.

The Courts don't have benefit of hindsight but I do believe Judges need much better training in understanding the strong link between domestic violence and the point a woman tries to leave. It is a very dangerous time for victims and their children. Both Jennifer and her children have suffered for two years and have paid a very dear price.

JMO

Judges who work in family law indeed have extensive domestic violence training. They're all aware of the dangers. They also become super aware of how many men and women make false allegations of abuse in order to get an edge in the case.

It's terrible. Judges have this catch-22. Failure to issue an order can lead to dire consequences. But issuing an order without enough evidence leads to permanent consequences for the restraining party. People lose jobs, they're unable to get any job that has to do with working with children, or elderly people, or disabled people, anything in the health care field, government jobs of any kind, etc.

If that's a result of false allegations it's pretty horrible.

So it's a difficult situation.

Maybe a solution would be to issue temporary restraining orders during the pendency of the divorce and lift them at the end, when judges are unsee. That way there's a bit of protection for some of the most dangerous times for an alleged abuse victim but there's no permanent consequence via a permenant restraining order when the evidence isn't clear enough.

Unfortunately, restraining orders have proven to be rather ineffective. Someone who wants to murder a spouse or partner who is leaving won't be stopped by such an order.

The real value of them is to possibly calm down people who are on the edge of violence rather than those who have already proven to be committed abusers.

There is a possibility that either a guest or member here may have been a witness or knows a witness. Definitely a good idea not to come forward on here, for various reasons. I want to believe that with 1k tips some of them have to be accurate and helpful to LE. But for heavan's sake throw us a bone! Let's see some movement, or a press conference, or like maybe a search party ANYWHERE at this point.

Is anyone truly confident that LE has a ton of evidence already against FD, but they are holding out to find the body of JD before they let it all out? Is this
what is typically done in cases where the victim is still missing?

I like this . Makes one go back to the beginning and see things in a hindsight light . After being subject to sensationalized theories that read like an Agatha Christie novel , it’s easy to see that the answer is right there .
So what is the simplest answer ?
My own theory
FD planned to murder JD. He ambushed her in her garage after she pulled in . He approached on foot parking his vehicle at another location . He made me it quick as to not draw attention if JD struggled or screamed . He put her body in the Suburban . Called MT to help with the clean up . He moved her body to one of his properties and then abandoned the suburban at the park. Then proceeded to dispose of her body in the woods somewhere (explains poison ivy ).
Only thing that is puzzling .... is did she have cameras and if so had they been disabled ?
