Great point!... @CTGrammy and @3blue1pink mentioned that the house where FD's mother had been run over has been on the market since they moved to JC, and that the house is now dilapidated. Now, that all makes sense!
Everything FD owns is tainted in the marketplace. FD's reputation
has cast shadows on all his real estate. People are very wary of
getting involved in a business transaction with someone facing
potential murder and obstruction charges.
So these properties will have to be fire saled. Sold for cheap
prices to someone willing to invest in a property that comes with
a horrible story. That rules out many normal buyers.
I know someone who bought a large estate home on 50 ac. near
my area, got it for a steal after it sat for years on the market.
Why you say did it sit? Cause the owner went to jail for a few crimes like being a huge drug dealer/importer and the worst was
he ran over and killed his wife on the property. Yes they were
going through a divorce.
So my thoughts are that FD's properties may not sell for years
and he may likely have to give them up to finance his defense for his criminal charges.
Too bad, so sad.
