Just jumping off your post -

Every time I see that pic of the vehicle with everybody around it, I always wonder who might have taken that picture? And where were they standing? What were they standing on? I'm guessing they are pulled up to a cabin or something that has steps going up to it and somebody is up on the steps/deck/whatever taking the pic??

Indeed . I wondered WHO took that pic ? The optics were obviously staged as the kids are just standing there like “whatever” and MT and FD are posed like “ look what a happy family we are “ PUKE !!

FD could just have put the case in the back of the truck with her body inside, before disposal.

If FD used her SUV to transport the body to either a holding place or the disposal site ... I wonder if LE can examine the mud/dirt on the tires or tire track pattern to point in the general area . I get CT is a very small state and likely has the same type of terrain ... just spitballing...

The possible use of JD Suburban for body removal is an interesting idea. The Suburban wasn't found by NCPD until 7:30-8 pm I believe. I wonder if there were any eyewitness accounts to verify seeing the Suburban at the Lapham Rd location during the day and if they can pinpoint within some range when exactly the Suburban was parked at the location where it was found.

Again , I wonder if the SUB had on star ? My parents have a much older model and theirs does . If FD thought about this he would not likely have used his or hers .

That is what I have envisioned. I started out thinking maybe the red PU had a tonneau cover but this would work just as well.

But I have always kind of wondered if he didn't just wait for JD to get almost in the garage and just drive the red PU right up behind her hoping she would be focused on gathering her things to go into the house and not notice him until it was too late.

Then he could have pulled the PU right into the garage to avoid detection while loading the body and bags. I just have a hard time imagining him loading the bags into JD's car and transferring them to the PU down by the park.

If FD wasn't able to get the jump on her before she tried to call for help he could have tried to calm her by saying he just wanted to solidify things about the next days visitation.

Maybe too far fetched? JMO

No Case Norm hit the airwaves again on AJ radio show (Norm Patter starts at roughly 15 min in and he chats about the Russian billionaire case he is involved with in Bridgeport in addition to a few questions on the Dulos case):
Audioboom / Wednesday, July 10: Norm Pattis, Gayle King Surprises Ashley, And AJ's Terrible Park Job

NCN says that discovery is underway on the current charges against MT and FD so it looks like these cases are moving along if even at a slow pace. He also mentioned that LE is looking at the possibility that the rear entrances of both 4JX and JD NC houses were used in one way or another which I thought was an interesting statement. The statement was also made that the FD cell phone was in Farmington all day (assuming he meant the 24th/Missing Date) and that LE were investigating other means to prove location of FD on the 24th. He also made it sound like he hasn't received much info in terms of cell history etc. from the State and I thought that was interesting too given that they probably have it for the known phones.
Also said he received a call from PT while on air. Opined that he and Colangelos were old adversaries that have since buried the hatchet, so to speak. He has heard through sources that FD's phone was in Farmington but LE is thinking he could have left it there. He has not seen any cell phone data to date. No videos of FD leaving or entering either homes. LE considering leaving the rear of his home and entering through the rear of JD's home. No smoking gun thus far. Other than that zero from his sources. Something happened but not sure what? Lots of questions.
Also, back pedaled on the Gone Girl "dust up".
And, NP has been on vacation!

Someone earlier mentioned that her Suburban likely had OnStar
and even if she didn't subscribe, the unit still records the cars
whereabouts. Wouldn't that be something?

thanks for the blurb about NP and the State Attorney. I don't have audio so can't listen.

Take a listen and see what you think. What I heard is that the States Atty and his staff are in contact with Pattis and Crew and that the hindering/tampering case is moving forward and discovery is happening as we speak. Things seem to be moving slowly but the States Atty isn't talking here and so all we have is Pattis Patter for what its worth. I'm always game to read or listen to virtually anything on a case so I do listen to this morning radio show when the case is discussed (JMO as many love these announcers, just not my cup of tea!).

On the billionaire case, I don't know anything about it but it seems Pattis is representing the wife. Will see what is out there on it but it apparently involves alot of money and some very odd behavior.
I think Norm gave quite a bit up here. I have missed him.
The last 3 days have been dry. LOL.

Agree about onstar as its standard in most trim levels of Suburban in 2017 (we did this research on earlier thread). There must be something with the JD vehicle as LE NEVER showed picture of actual vehicle to the public (just the stock photo from Chevy) and I never understood why this was the case.

Usually in missing cases LE makes a great effort to publicize any/all vehicles associated with a case in order to jog public recollections and generate tips. We have seen zero of this in this case. We saw picture of JD and stock photo of 2017 Suburban, no press conferences, no announcements about public safety, no pictures of FD or MT circulated in poster format asking having you seen these people over a certain date period.

WS folks did a great job of searching out the FORE/FD vehicles and so most on here were aware of the Raptor and the other vehicles. But NCPD or State Police NEVER put out a bulletin asking for info on whether people had seen any of the other vehicles including the red pick up truck belonging to EE.

Why was this not done? Was it because they already knew where all these vehicles were? Or, some other reason. IDK but its all been a question bothering me for awhile now as the typical playbook for a missing case isn't playing out for us at all here. My suspicion is that from the blood spatter in garage (discussed in the arrest warrant) that LE knew JD wasn't missing but they at that time didn't have enough to convert to a homicide case IMO. Still puzzled and thinking.

As an aside to show you what typically happens in NC:

NCPD posted on social media a video still shot of a woman eating ice cream with her child who proceeded to take a purse left by a patron that was sitting behind her and stuff the purse into her tote bag.

NCPD posted the picture of the woman sitting eating ice cream with her child and within 24 hrs the person was identified, at police headquarters and arrested and scheduled for court. Granted this was a very simple case but my point is that if NCPD wanted to actively use social media to engage the public then they could have done it. But, for whatever reason they have chosen not to do so. Wonder why?

Like your spitballing.
I think she was in there for a short amount of time.
I think LE has evidence but no evidence that points to FD or MT. MOO.

.

Great post!!! I think the vehicles are HUGE in solving where she is . Plus , the lack of arm to arm searches . Makes me think LE knows and are not indicating anything ... purposely just biding their time and waiting for dip$hit , errrr I mean FD to slip up .

FD is fit and could easily walk or jog that short distance. Or he could have used a bike or motorbike. With a helmet on, nobody would know what his hair looked like.

Also, where FD's phone was is not necessarily where he was. He could have asked MT to transport his phone. He could have used a burner phone, or just not used a phone at all for several hours.

IMHO.
Go Grammy

Yes, IMO he does a better job on the radio than TV. Still the same No Case Norm but he seem a bit more relaxed. He must either be super relaxed or super tired (don't know which) as he made more than few misstatement on the radio show. Do think he is stretched quite thin so perhaps that accounts for the gun shot approach on the Dulos case and the Gone Girl disaster? Hope he gets some rest as he will no doubt need to be at his fighting best quite soon!

Here is Stamford Avocate summary of the Pattis comments (sounds like from the radio show): Jennifer Dulos case: Defense waiting for ‘smoking gun’ evidence

The whole smoking gun thing is such a ludicrous rationale. Common’ people How much more of a smoking gun can you get than getting FD on VIDEO disposing of evidence with her blood on it !!! I get LE has protocol and needs to be very careful in these types of cases. But for us common folk it’s pretty darn clear ... HE KILLED HER !!

  • #378
Didn't she clearly state she was no longer a teacher at that school?
even still, it seems a little out of place for her comments, considering the state of affairs with the father she was discussing.

I don’t recall that she is a former teacher, but rather a former teacher of one of the Dulos children. I could have that wrong, though.

I love when he refers to the joyride on Albany Ave. as a very awkward set of facts. To me this is the smoking gun. There is no denying it no matter how much he spins it.

No Case Norm is holding to the story that FD was in Farmington all day on the missing date. He is putting the burden back on the state to prove the location of FD. I do love the comment about FD possibly sneaking out the back of 4JX on the missing date and the fact that the State is looking at this possibility. Wonder if MT was able to shed any light on such departures by FD on the 24th?

I agree that the statement about 'awkward set of facts' was hilarious but I still prefer the 'trashbin odyssey of stupidity' as a more realistic view of what happened on Albany!
