It will all come out in the warrant when they press murder charges. I think they have enough to do so already, but obviously, the strongest evidence is the body. If they can recover that, they will immediately press. Otherwise, it's a matter of securing as much evidence as possible.
I agree, but with each passing day, a body will decompose more and more and valuable DNA evidence can be lost, if it already hasn’t.

Those bags are likely to be his undoing.

It’s entirely possible that he has put Jennifer’s body in such a location that she will never be found.

I actually think that’s more probable than not at this point.

It almost certainly won’t save him from a murder charge though.

I think you’re right about her body being in a place where she won’t be found. And further believe FD prepared that location in advance. Some of the info here describes him to be a meticulous planner; I just don’t think this is a visit with JD that went wrong. He just screwed up bringing his phone with him to Hartford; otherwise LE would have nothing except suspicions. I doubt they would have even looked for the evidence on the sink if it wasn’t for the videos at 30 or so garbage stops. I actually hate even posting this stuff, because I don’t want his legal team to read what rings true to us, helping to present a case to a jury.

What if a tip led them to the pond? and the murder weapon is what they are searching for with the woods being a location for other evidence? I'm trying to figure out why now? We've known about the pond since the beginning...IMO

I didn’t think of this. Usually there would be a reward posted or a massive volunteer search. In this case, it seems to me that LE probably is doing its best to keep things under wraps and once they find the body they’ll drop everything to the media. But what if this is like the Susan Powell case where they can never find a body? Do they just give up and release any info they haven’t yet?
The problem with volunteer searches is that the volunteers must be trained to not contaminate the crime scene. I remember that Charli Scott's sister Phaedra found her clothes at the crime scene, which was out of range of cell towers, and wasn't able to communicate with LE. Instead of leaving the clothes there, she picked them up. She knew that was the wrong thing to do, but it was dark and she wanted to make sure the items were recovered. Let's hope that LE is on the right track and has the manpower and equipment to conduct thorough searches of areas where they have determined FD to be, based on cell tower and video surveillance camera information. They also have cadaver dogs, divers, and sonar equipment at their disposal. May they find JD today.

Wow! His concern should be his children, not signaling MT. Vomit

It's very telling that he hasn't made a statement about concern for his children or missing wife. I am sure they have not pursued this strategy because he would not be able to pull it off without sounding disingenuous.

Same thing happened to my family member I mentioned earlier, during her custody battle. The ex only fought for the kids insofar as it reduced his child support payments and would allow him to maintain control over her and the kids (a final F-U). FD comes off as someone who sees his children as pawns and trophies, not as people to nurture and love. JMO

There is SO much land that he has access to. I believe he dug a grave and he is the ONLY one who knows, besides God......

Without thinking too long...What are your top three things that aren't gelling for you and/or questions that are bugging you.....here's mine:
1) being caught on video dumping bloody evidence is seeming "too convenient" now...feels like it was almost "purposeful".....point everyone in the wrong direction

2) The 3 hour meeting with MT....was that "set up" more by LE to freak out FD? It certainly wasn't secretly....the media had all kinds of footage of who was arriving, that they had recording equipment, that the SA was there.....unlike everything else they are keeping so close to the vest....again, seems purposefully and glaringly out in the open. Although MT's demeanor seemed "unburdened", it doesn't look like she gave them anything useful??

3) Wonder what "credible" lead they got regarding the pond? We have many former gravel pits turned into lakes right around me.....and they are the CLEAREST possible bodies of water. No mud bottoms, very little vegetation under water......not an ideal place to dump anything IMO

Please add your top 3.......
Not a "bugging me," but point re: pond water. In a blog post, J D talks about how muddy the pond is and how filthy the kids are what they get out of the water.

Me three.

I think that LE is going to exhaust their searches. Then, whether or not they have a body, they will press charges of murder. imo

Absolutely this is the purpose - we just don't sleuth children ever. or family members or friends. Only the arrested/POI.
I didn’t realize that would be considered sleuthing the children. I thought it to be a timeline discussion and/or whether nanny perhaps saw something. It just helps the picture in my own mind. I apologize if that somehow crossed a line! Def not my intent.

And, grandma said she maintained clothes, toys, bedroom, etc. for kids at her home. So, may not need to grab anything.
Did nanny even go into the house before taking the kids to NYC?

BBM.

Same here. They are reserved, dignified people, imo. And their behavior will only make the antics of FD's lawyer stand out all the more as a circus and as a disrespect to Jennifer.

And I think any jury will notice the difference. I really do.

Absolutely. I’m sure Pattis will want the trial moved to a different city, where do you think that might be?

In this interview below, several things stood out to me, but when he says (verbatim here) this woman lived under a false name. Who is he referring to - JD or MT?? I'm guessing MT of course but if so, WHY would this have been and WHEN was this? And the other thing is (verbatim again) that FD says he was NOT at JD's house a couple days prior?

Lawyer for Fotis Dulos Speaks on Case
This link is now directing to a different video.

From the video posted earlier interviewing Pattis -
FD can account for all but about 3 hours of May 24 without only relying on his word.
Pattis is not troubled about the "speck" of DNA at JD's house as transfer DNA is quite easy to move from one spot to another.
Pattis was told there were only 2 bags and not 30 and that it is confounding and troubling (I think he said fact but now that the video is gone..)
Pattis says he expects the case against MT to be dropped.
Pattis says he believes that access to the Pond is by key access only.

TBH, I think anywhere outside the tristate area. I can see it being moved to like, the Midwest or something because New England is so small and in the world they're living in (expensive private schools for the kids) many kids go to boarding school all over CT/MA/NH/NJ and someone will know someone who knows the Dulos family. I can see Pattis requesting to move it somewhere really remote and unfamiliar with the area at all.

I wonder how FD and Pattis will get along/work together. Since FD has had trouble keeping lawyers in the past, maybe these 2 will butt heads also.... I hope!

I'm still watching and re-watching this video interview. There is sooooo much to discuss but he IMO is referring to JD living under a false name. He talks about her "troubled history". Also it seems he is laying out the ground work for negligent homicide - which he points out only carries a year sentence.
If JD was a jour

And to use to live out his own dreams. I’ve done some study on narcissism, and they describe narcissists seeing their children as an extension of themselves. This case definitely has bells ringing in my mind.

I do think he is trying to move the trial - which was the purpose of that phony jog in cargo shorts yesterday. They are trying to provoke the press and then claim FD has been hounded and can't get a fair trial because of media coverage. B.S.

My guess is he would want the trial in a city that is not as affluent - with a jury who might find JD as a spoiled rich wife with nothing better to do than make up scary stories about a husband who jilted her. I think that is a loooong shot because there is nothing about Jennifer that is a turn off, imo, despite her affluence that is a world away from how many people live.
