Report: Truck belonging to Dulos’ company was in New Canaan on day of disappearance

employee returned vehicle on Friday. We have no knowledge about Saturday work at the property other than the banging - IMO

Also, to paraphrase...the neighbor of 61 Sturbridge. a man stated that the the investigators returned after viewing his first submitted video and requested additional footage from his surveillance dating back to 19 May. Hmmm.

I really think this property is where FD did some prepping for a disposal.

I remember seeing him wear different shirts on the first two days after he was released.

You're right I'm sorry! I meant same cargo shorts but different shirts, same ankle jewelry. Thanks for correcting me.

Discussion has focused lately on JD being buried or in the water. But, I am remembering that many of at the start of the case had the idea that she might be in pieces. She very well could be at the garbage site that LE has been searching for days and days. I think all three possibilities are still on the table, imo.

I do agree with you that water seems the least controllable - both in terms of access without being spotted and with the potential the body would rise. And, I also agree that he planned this for awhile - perhaps starting just as a revenge fantasy but eventually becoming something he felt he had to do.

I want Jennifer found for all the usual reasons....but also to show him that his planning failed.

They’ve been searching that facility for close to two weeks now.

It is entirely possible that they are so focused on that plant, because they do believe Jennifer’s remains are there.

There is nothing that excludes that possibility.

And it is possible they have found something and are not ready to release this information yet - IMO.

If it is confirmed by LE that the employee doesn’t work on weekends and was not there on Saturday, 25 May, than who was making the loud banging metal noises super early, 5 am on a Saturday?!! I don’t think FD does the manual labor so I can think of only one thing he was doing.

I met Jennifer and Fotis, and an employee of theirs over a decade ago at my previous place of work. They used to come in on a weekly basis to conduct business, usually separately, Fotis on his own and Jennifer with kids. This case is very unsettling to me ever since I heard of JD's disappearance. I think about it all the time. She was such a devoted, loving mother, and overall a very kind person who treated everyone with respect. My heart breaks for her kids and her mom. I'm so sorry Jennifer.. I hope and pray every day for this monster and his vile mistress to be locked away for life.

I am sure they are being very careful what is released due the children among other reasons.

To add to my pile of questions:
1. When were MT/FD alerted to the Silver Alert for Jennifer?
2. Did FD speak to LE on the evening of the 24th or early morning hours of the 25th regarding her disappearance? Did they go to his home that evening or just speak to him over the phone?
3. If FD had not disposed of JDs body before the trashbin dump OR during the trashbin dump was her body at the 4 Jefferson Crossing address or 80 Mountain Spring address?
4. Once he knew JD had been reported missing (which I do believe he absolutely knew about on the evening of the 24th) and her body had not been disposed of yet given he knew LE was now involved would he really risk driving over an hour to New Canaan where police were crawling all over with the help of several other agencies?

I admit I think that FD isn’t as bright as he thinks he is and already engaged in illegal and risky behavior but driving back to NC in the middle of the night? After she had been reported missing? With her body?

It’s to protect the integrity of the investigation, more than anything.

Until that murder warrant is written, they’ll try to keep as much as possible under wraps.

para 10 - FD presented his phone with his attorney at NCPD - 14:47
What was he doing the rest of the morning? We don't know but I bet LE knows...

Is an arrest warrant laid out sequentially? If so, curious that they went right from finding blood after being allowed access to JD's home to checking motor vehicle records and finding his - para 8

I know we become frustrated with the long wait but I do think LE has a ton of information - and since they are both on GPS they are accumulating everything so when they ask for the murder warrants they get them IMO.

I do think her mom contacted him on the 24th - and then contacted LE. This is just speculation on my part but I feel that she did. could be wrong.. all JMO

Thank you! Has anyone discussed that the worker and FD bear a slight resemblance ? If the worker is whom I saw a photo of..
We cannot sleuth the worker - he is not a POI/suspect. Thanks

For those concerned about FD getting off because the body hasn’t been found (and might never be), it looks like Tad DiBiase, a former US Attorney known as “the no body guy”, is on this case.

His public professional Twitter account says he’s been interviewed by Lester Holt for NBC Nightly News last week but apparently it hasn’t aired yet.
Anyone see that interview?
It could be related to the Oregon case instead. The article posted earlier in this thread talked about him and his book. Jmo

I’m back on Ms. Oblivious-I Don’t Know Nothing MT.
I’m big on trying to organize my thoughts via a kind of “flow chart” deduction.

At the time of the trash dump, either MT knew what was in the bags, or she didn’t- a simple yes or no.

Yes. Next ?, if she knew, was she a participant in the attack?
Yes- will be charged.
No- she became aware after attack

No. She was unaware of what was in trash bags at time of dump. Next ?, did she become aware after dump, at any time during the next week before she was arrested?
Yes- but she did not go to LE
No. Next ?, did she become suspicious?
Yes but she did not go to LE
No - there cannot possibly be a
No here

In considering each of these scenarios, and giving MT the widest benefit of doubt, one thing really stands out to me. Even if her answer to question 1 was No, I believe the next questions would weigh heavily on the mind of someone “innocent” in the coming hours &/or days. And if that person was “innocent”, and a mother there is no way in hell she would have continued to live with FD and put her daughter in harms way; physical or psychological.
In the photos of LE w FD and MT , at their house, before their arrest at the hotel, MT is hugging a tween wearing a backpack. Was this the daughter? Still living in the residence during this week after JD went missing. Can you imagine the mind set of a mother who would have initially not known what was in the bags, but then began to question the situation. Would anyone stay in that house w her child? No. Absolutely not.

The only person who would have stayed in the situation was one who didn’t disapprove and/or did participate in the actions which created those bags.

So I’m back to the first question. Yes -MT knew before the trash dump exactly what was in those bags.
She is going with the ‘Deny till you die’ strategy. This is a woman that began a relationship with a married man with 5 children at a time when said man’s father-in-law and benefactor was dying. As a mother herself, one would think she didn’t want to put the 5 children through that. Their grandfather is dying and then their parents divorce? This after their grandmother was hit and killed in their driveway? She is definitely ride or die with Fulos and now I’m wondering if she helped to plan it.

I think GF called FD too - or had her lawyer or the nanny call him since she and FD were in a contentious relationship/lawsuit. I am looking forward to seeing the communications on that day and knowing what he was doing when he first got word JD was missing. My hunch is he dumped the bags and license plates immediately after being alerted or was in the process of being alerted while he was on the dump run.

I think the MOST frustrating aspect for LE about the dismemberment (it’s abhorrent, evil etc..) theory is that if her dismembered remains were disposed of along with the other bags in Hartford along Albany Avenue is that they were likely incinerated by the time LE got there. NBC CT spoke to an unnamed employee at MIRA who said as much. What LE has mainly been doing since is sitting through tons of shredded trash at the MIRA site with canines that had not yet been through the incinerator. And so far, we haven’t heard that they have found any remains. And they have the DESPP Lab at their disposal that can get results back to them within hours of finding something that they can test. This sucks!

I very much doubt the dismembered remains (if that's what happened) were in the Hartford bags. They got some with strong JD DNA evidence.

What scenario is behind a one direction evidence drive away vs. two vehicles, the body goes to NY to find much higher pop. areas like where the chop shops operate and body can be disposed of without fear of being found? The clean up bags plus some extraneous stuff goes to Hartford, which were unexpected results of the struggle and crime earlier?

It does appear that the AW was laid out fairly sequentially. But the first mention of a meeting with LE is the brief exchange at his former attorney’s, Eugene Riccio, office where he provided his iPhoneX to Detective Allegro who confiscated it. At 2:47 pm. But yes there is a ton of time from when he was last mentioned in the AW as arriving on neighbor-surveillance video at 4 Jefferson Crossing at 8:10 pm on May 24th until 2:47pm on the 25th. Definitely.

I’m curious. Why leave the keys in your boat, allowing it to be driven by others or stolen?
People leave their keys in their cars here too. Then they complain when it’s stolen.

ITA! Yes, I think she helped with every aspect. MOO

I haven't found any information about this, the answer may be somewhere in the threat but I may have missed it. Why were FD and MT at a hotel in Avon when they were arrested? His home is a walking distance away from it. It seems to me that he may have been trying to avoid getting caught and buying time to flee the country. Also, the new haircut is interesting.

Privacy, less media; motels give maximum flexibility, easy in easy out. No way were they planning on leaving the country.
