I think incontrovertible is a good word for what LE has on FD whether he talks or not.

NP doesn't really act thrilled and I'm betting he isn't except for the fact that he's getting lots of publicity.
NP has worked a lot of criminal defense cases, and I could be wrong, but I think this one has gotten much more coverage than others (with AJ probably being the exception). He's getting his name out there.

The special coatings make concrete very smooth. Even regular
concrete floor paint fills in most of the holes.
In more expensive homes, the floors are finished with something
not left as natural concrete. At least in my area.
I think upscale homes have epoxy garage floors.

Just getting back from work. I’m with you. He has to have supervised visits with the children and no phone contact. I don’t know if he would know about the appointments. But he may have known what time the housekeeper comes and on what days. NP wa to people to believe that the housekeeper was there all afternoon but how could she have been? She got there at noon and had to pick the children up at school and drive to grandmas in NY and somewhere said the school had an early dismissal so she couldn’t have spent more than 2 hours or even less and perhaps she didn’t go to the garage. NP playing games
NP is pushing a time frame that would start later and stretch into afternoon. That's not compatible with JD's 11am meeting in NYC. If FD was there early enough, he had plenty of time. IMO he probably didn't need more than an hour in the house. How long did it take Krystal Kenney to clean a crime scene?

Wouldn't the nanny at some point enter the garage and notice the blood smears/spatter? If JD didn't have any appointments that day they would also notice her car missing. Maybe there would be other signs in the house pointing to activity (or lack thereof) that morning.
I brought this up earlier. I get the impression she had the LR throughout the day, so she didn't need to enter the garage. Police would likely have been called much earlier if she did since the kids had a half-day.

The wisest thing the Farbers could do at this point is to hire an attorney to negotiate the following:
Farbers agree to drop lawsuit/ allow Fotis to keep the 2.5 million “loan” and agree to never sue Fotis in civil court for wrongful death of Jenn in exchange for full custody of the 5 children.
Not certain Fotis would go for it- but he might. If he truly loves his kids.
The bad blood in this case is FAR worse than that in OJ/ Nicole case.
I’m terrified of a similar outcome.
All IMHO
And...he has to "give up" the whereabouts of JD's remains. JMO

Stained concrete with an epoxy sealer.

The nanny didn't enter the house though. But the housekeeper did.
My response was to a hypothetical situation where the children and the nanny returned home after school.

I can't help but think this is rather unique in a private school setting in CT. Sad for the daughter, though. Maybe it wouldn't have happened if she didn't have that ankle bracelet on? I'm thinking she attended a school very close to all the happenings. Not Farmington but close by. Everyone is aware. Too close to home. MOO.
I could probably guess the school, but I won't. If it's what I'm thinking, it's definitely close by. I understand the school's position, but it's terrible that that poor girl couldn't have her mother there.

Is there any chance that the vehicle the nanny was driving would be parked outside in the driveway so she would not need to enter the garage?
Also, I wonder if he was aware that the kids had early release that day? (12:30 dismissal)
We don't really know how the nanny had the LR the whole time or if she had to come get it unfortunately. I don't know if JD would leave the LR outside, I think we are all assuming that she has a 3 car garage and parks 3 cars in it . I believe she might be a live-in nanny so perhaps she has another job or goes to school while the kids go to school then she does full time nanny-ing picking up kids to bringing them home and to cooking for them or something. MOO

Never say never.
FD had two windows of opportunity to hide the body, IMHO. One was shortly after the murder, in daylight. This could work if he chose the right remote spot and prepared it ahead of time. The other opportunity was in the wee hours of the morning, under cover of darkness, closer to his home turf. If he did it then, he would have driven the body back toward his home, as opposed to leaving it in NC, where he planted her car. I haven't yet decided which I think is most likely.
They found JD's car in the park the evening prior. Wouldn't the police think that whoever took her could still be in NC and they would be more vigilant?

Agreed. We are on the same page.

It begins with an R. It was reported.

We found it out through the internet, so he could've as well.

Restraining orders don’t do anything, see this article about domestic violence and murder, a third of domestic killings have restraining orders in place.

“In Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, San Diego and St. Louis, 36 percent of the 280 men implicated in a domestic killing had a previous restraining order against them or had been convicted of domestic abuse or a violent crime, including murder, The Post found.

Killings of intimate partners often are especially brutal, involving close encounters such as stabbings, strangulation and beatings, The Post’s analysis found.”

Regarding restraining orders...I have always said...what is the point of a piece of paper? Are you going to wave it in front of you and hope the aggressor backs down...? imo

I think the confusion here is that there are two separate 'major' employees of JD's that work in the household / were working the day she went missing: (1) a nanny whom takes care of the children, and (2) a housekeeper whom cleans the house.

(1) The nanny was tasked with picking the kids up from school and driving them to their grandmother's in NYC for an overnight because JD had 2 appointments in NYC during that day, and was purportedly planning to meet them all there at the end of the day, but never showed up. No info in MSM or from LE on the nanny or whether they lived in the house or had a separate residence and full use of the Range Rover, so may not have needed to pick up the vehicle at the house that day before picking up the children from school.

(2) The housekeeper purportedly came to do regular cleaning tasks around noon that day. No info in MSM or from LE on the housekeeper's presence or schedule. Only FD's lawyer NP has alleged that the housekeeper stayed for several hours into the afternoon that day cleaning JD's house.

I wondered about this. I live in an old house. Our garage floor is concrete.Very porous. That's how I envisioned the blood stains. Are these newer paints less porous?

I'm not familiar with Lowes (envisioning do-it-yourself floor paint) but I am familiar with contractor's residential grade garage floor sealant which is epoxy based.

Professionally installed floors would be resistant to car fluids and oil stains, and allow you to simply wipe or light mop up spills. I believe blood would pool on this surface and also allow for mop up if done right away.

I know garage sealants do not allow concrete to absorb water into it's pores. Concrete is naturally very absorbent, and if left untreated will easily allow liquids to penetrate it's surface -- including blood.

the school is EW in Simsbury
I wasn’t sleuthing the kid. It’s on the Foregroup site
There was a raffle and MT donated a 10,000 ski package
and she has won lots of ski tournaments for them
Not the same school as FDs kids

And it is a huge house. Maybe she does upstairs one day and downstairs the next?
