Great find. So she did plan everything out carefully so everyone had their stuff when they moved.
Yes she sure did and now with what is coming out about the lawyer and his contentious divorce and FD's potential role in it - no wonder she got out of there when she did. And I think this other wife is lucky to be alive JMO

I also wonder too if the possible delay relates to their ongoing discovery efforts and the new PI brought on board by No Case Norm? Pattis has a small crew at his firm and they are in catchup mode on the discovery IMO. They were also probably operating on one path of blaming EE for the entire JD disappearance and EE atty said EE had no interest in speaking with FD PI. So, the defense strategies are dropping like flies and No Case Norm most likely has had to regroup especially after the latest news of the bloody shirt and underwear found in the bags on Albany.

Even though No Case Norm was vocal about a speedy August trial it looks like yet again he was a blowhard and grandstanding as they are attempting to get their ducks in a row. The FD legal team was rocked with resignations and was in disarray for roughly a month. The GF civil litigation is active and pressing FD hard and no doubt requires atty focus and efforts and the Family Court matter for custody is moving full steam ahead as well. The FD legal crew has alot on its plate and no doubt need time to handle what needs to be done. The issue of FD 2nd no show on the GF civil litigation no doubt will involve some work from the legal team as well.

No shortage of work defending FD from the world IMO and that takes time!

MOO
Discovery is an ongoing thing, but it still doesn't explain why his partner could not cover this hearing for him. I feel quite certain that the LAST thing FD wants is a speedy trial.

In some states, defendants in criminal cases have the right to depose the state's witnesses, but I do not know if this right exists in CT. If so, it would seen NP would want to focus on that very fruitful area of inquiry. Even if there is no such right, however, at least publicly it would appear that NP views his job as trying to change the public narrative of a story that has already been written, as opposed to uncovering evidence to establish a plausible defense for his client.

Yes and anyone who stood in Fd's or any of his cohorts' way, should all be looking over their shoulders and keeping their hinky meters on.

GF knew what FD was capable of, thus the armed guards.
I believe her daughter shared a lot of the underbellies of FD's actions and threats.

I'm starting to believe that dealing w/ FD is
like dealing w/ a mini mafia who take the law into their own hands when crossed.

I can't imagine having to live near this criminal
or try to extricate myself from his twisted web.
MT better be extra careful. And the judges,
and the DA's and the investigators.
He's more than toxic, affiliation with him is just plain dangerous to one's health.

Could this have been a 'you get rid of mine and I will get rid of yours' situation?

Just a thought.

That was my first thought also. Maybe LE should look into where the other party was that morning.

Agree with you. Think their world might have just blown up and they are regrouping. They are being legally assaulted on all sides by GF and their legal foundations in these cases IMO are built upon pillars of sand! Put the legal issues on top of the financial FORE issues and you have a potential bonfire sized mess.

What baffles me though is that even though Rome/Athens is burning here for FD we see no efforts to settle anything and take some stress out of the entire equation for himself? When people have some options and don't appear to be taking them that's usually a red flag too IMO. His 'cash' burn in legal fees to fund this entire situation has to be huge too IMO. I simply wonder why not make an effort to settle with GF, cut losses, regroup and focus on not spending the rest of your life in prison? But we don't see FD doing this? FD didn't show up for his deposition and is still having his atty file silly motions in court on the civil case that are just a waste of courts time and simply are delaying the inevitable.

Why is all that we are seeing is delay, delay and delay? The longer the delay the more time for trade claims to stack up, tax liens to be filed on properties with unpaid taxes and the list goes on and on and on IMO. It seems like receivership or bankruptcy is almost a certainty but these don't seem to be in FD interest either so why not regroup and settle what can be settled and move on? At this point its entirely possible that all decisions by FD are emotional and not logical and if this is the case there is no logic to what is going on and his is willing to blow up everything financially to have the last word.

But at a certain point the music will stop and my bet is that for FD this will be when the professionals to handle all this say no more because there is no hope of them ever getting paid. If this hasn't happened already, my guess is its happening soon. I guess I just never understand self sabotoge on such a large scale but that seems to be what we are seeing playout in real life here. If thats not the answer and there is something more sinister behind all this delay I just hope that the State figures it out and that GF claim and JD maratial assets are not put in risk by whatever FD might have or might not have done!

I saw the announcement on FOX of the bloody shirt and bra being found. I can't believe that these two will get away with anything...their time is running out, imo. I had hoped that Jennifer would have been found by now but I really don't think she's going to be. These two jokers may be lucky in that regard and it's so sad for her family.

I’m wondering if this attorney is the same attorney that FD had an early morning meeting with on the day JD disappeared?

Hahahaha. Great alibi material. Two men both in a contentious divorce, covering for each other. That’s going to go a long way.

Hahahaha. All the way to Greece.

To settle is to admit defeat. That’s why I think FD will end up going to trial on the criminal charges.

agree, it's not in FD's veins to ever give in,
he's the ultimate fight cat. He doesn't know the word 'settle' or 'compromise', he will go down fighting. Are we winning?

edit- The only thing that will knock any sense into this entire battle is the funds
are drying up and when people don't get paid, they drop out. Just watch.

FD and MT have to be jumping out of their skin.
Not charged with murder and waiting for the shoe to drop.
Being externally controlled. No where to go. No measure of joy and peace. Just angst.
Already in a prison of sorts. MOO.

JD is known to have been wearing that shirt on the 24th.
Took me awhile to catch up to that!!! Thank you.
So sad.
This other threatened? wife has me unnerved. Early on I asked if anyone (mainly those in area, hearing words on the street) knew any thing about FDs movements during the week prior to JDs disappearance.
I’m glad some of that time line is being revealed. More is needed, obviously, than his interactions with this woman. Anyone else hearing anything about his, MTs other movements during that time?

With the finding of JD's shirt and bra, I am back to considering the unthinkable - and the reason for so many garbage bags.... of course, there are still those searches to consider - something must have led LE there (the pond, the backyard with MT, etc.)

  • #454
Oh! Did anyone post this: if LE released info about JD bloody tee shirt and bra, she had to have been stripped of her clothes. Only one reason that I can think of, and I don’t want to think any further.

I'm afraid we are thinking the same thoughts - interesting about the two mops - implies 2 cleaned up IMO. Wonder if the lawyer has an alibi for Friday May 24 (or are they each other's???) JMO

Very clever observation. 2 mops, 2 perps cleaning up the mess.

Terrific Post! I really enjoy you're thinking.
MOO, FD is giving it his last few hoorahs. He
knows he can't sustain the fights and his business is already leaking down the drain.
Soon, there will be no business to protect and
the outgo is huge and no incoming finances
to continue to support the drain.
He's just going through the emotional temper
tantrums w/ no rewards in sight.

Now I'm truly wondering if he won't self destruct before being held accountable for
all his actions. There's no other way out at this point.

Hence my earlier thread, two contentious divorcing men are each other’s alibis. Biggest problem, attorney client privilege.
I believe early on NP mentioned attorney meeting and then Greece phone call as potential alibis. This was discussed on WS shortly after NP showed up on the scene.

Hmm here’s a good one: I wonder if NP is going to represent the lawyer on his assault and marital rape charges?
