I'm always curious in these scenarios who will be the weak link in the chain of suspects and possible suspects. I know we can't sleuth possible suspects under TOS but I wonder who in the chain of all involved in this horrific crime will break first? Or will the chain stay intacts and nobody breaks down? Too soon to tell IMO but will be interesting to see.

I know we can't answer this now but I'm tossing it out there to think about as I am not necessarily believing that MT is fully cooperative with the State based on how hard her atty is fighting to keep her from testifying in the GF Civil litigation. I realize there are many reasons Bowman can be pushing back against GF Civil litigation deposition, but there must be a bigger reason going on for his push back IMO. Is there a real possibility here of charges for financial crimes in addition to possible murder or manslaughter charges for both MT and FD? Is that why Bowman is pushing back so hard and why FD defied the Civil Court and didn't bother showing up for his deposition?

IDK, just more questions at this point.
And all good questions. Wondering how the financial angle will come in other than motive for now?
IMO, MT has lots of splainin to do.
She has little wiggle room, IMO, and was recalcitrant early on. Seems she gave little up during her brief incarceration. Very telling to me.

Didn't even know this case was on the radar of the NE! Buckle up as its from the early days of the case but has some interesting tidbits:

FBI Source Provides Details in Gut-Wrenching Case of Missing Mom Jennifer Dulos

If someone knows if this is non TOS (I don't know) please just report the post and ask mod to delete. NE and Radar aren't IME high quality sources but they have been first on stories that turn out to be true.

If you are triggered by NE as a source then please just scroll and roll.

Thinking. ..Remember when JD was a big drug addict? I figured FD was throwing out all kinds of horrible accusations to besmirch JD good name, and tie into His Gone Girl nonsense. This idiot FD has been projecting his drug habit onto JD the entire time! So,my question is who's FD's dealer? MT? Or is FD hers?

I am going with MT is the one who is more in the know about drugs. Imo MT looks like she has had a quite a few drugged days in her past. I think she looks in her mid 50s rather than her mid 40s. Even in pics where she is all done up she looks old. I was actually shocked at her appearance when I first saw her. JD was such a beautiful and attractive woman I thought the younger replacement was going to be a stunner. I was sure wrong about that.

The Albany trip and the way it was described in the arrest warrant was odd and IMO incomplete by LE design.

The arrest warrant talks about FD seeming to get out of the truck to deposit items in the cans. But I keep going back and reading and no mention seems to be made about MT except as possibly being in the truck and reaching outside to either drop or pick something up - no mention of MT exiting the Raptor. Sounds like she is in truck blowing bubbles while FD is starting, stopping, getting out of truck and dilgently getting rid of everything in the black contractor bags.

From the way the pillow and knife were described in the article my guess is that they were in the bags and removed to be disposed of by FD/MT IMO. We know I believe from the arrest warrant that there were 30 stops but we don't know how many bags. I also wonder if the fedex box could have been used to store the knife as well. I find it hard to believe that anyone would toss a sharp knife into a bag filled with other items. I can see the pillow in the contracter bags as it is soft, but the knife it seems would best be kept in a place where you couldn't get cut removing it.

MOO
They could very well have still been in a bag for all we know. I'm thinking they were. And, I doubt the 2 of them were worried about a knife harming anyone else. MOO.

The pillow and knife could have been the only items in a smaller white bathroom bag and was not knotted shut, so that when the man reached into the dumpster, he was able to reach right into the bag.
If he killed her in the shower or bathroom, he would have had a bag available right there. Also if he had to get rid of towels, bath mat, sheets or blankets that he wrapped her in so he could carry her down to the garage, that goes a long way to filling 30 bags for disposal. It also accounts for blood on the bra and tee shirt. MOO MOO

Yes, agree. IMO. Do LE/court officials take notice of that kind of thing? I guess it would be investigated if they were users.
When they went through intake at the jail they would have been tested. So if they had something in their systems it would be known by LE and the courts.

I meant cutting themselves as they reached into the bag to fish it out...could have been a big ouch!

The NE article seems to be heavily slanted in
their positive description of MT and how much she has assisted.
I wonder, since NE headquarters are in S. Fl. is
if someone close to MT was involved in getting
this article done and somewhat exonerating MT. It just sounds too biased, IMO.

State police investigating the disappearance of New Canaan mother Jennifer Farber Dulos have interviewed a Hartford man who told them he found a knife while rummaging through a trash can on Albany Avenue days after Farber Dulos disappeared — and later traded it away, sources with direct knowledge of the case have told The Courant.

The knife — along with a bloody pillow — was allegedly found by the man in the same Hartford neighborhood as other items linked to Farber Dulos’ May 24 disappearance. They include a Vineyard Vines shirt police believe Farber Dulos was wearing the day she disappeared, along with other items recovered during a police search of the area.

In an exclusive interview with The Courant after his release from prison this week on misdemeanor charges of failure to appear and trespassing, the man — still wearing his gray prison garb — said he was walking on Albany Avenue just past Garden Street when he reached into a garbage can and saw a pillow.

“I put my hand in the garbage can, I picked up the bloody thing, the bloody pillow and I looked underneath and there was a knife under there,” said the man, whom The Courant is not identifying because he is a potential witness. “It was about a quart of blood on the pillow, all over the pillow. I tell you, whoever got hurt got hurt real bad.”

He told The Courant he put the pillow back, took the knife and then traded it for a $5 rock of crack cocaine to a man he knew only as “Fudge.”

I’m still questioning why the pillow and knife wouldn’t be in a contractor bag... it doesn’t make sense that there’d be a wet, bloody pillow and knife loose in the Raptor and then tossed in the can.

Also, if they were than MT can’t possibly claim she didn’t know what was in the bags if the pillow and knife weren’t contained.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I want to know whether LE was able to retrieve the pant's he was wearing. There is a reason the part about wiping his hands on his jeans was memorialized.Makes me think LE has those jeans...

I agree that it would be odd for those items not to be in a contractor bag. Perhaps it wasn't secured at the top or there is some other fact we don't know. Dumpster divers are known to rummage through garbage in search of treasure, so it would make sense that he could have found these items after digging further down in the can. This question is just another one that we will have to wait for the answer.

BBM. Agree. MSM has been all over the board. Many times it turns out that the tabloids have been dead on.

A couple things.

Did we ever establish how much video could have been possible on the route from JD's home to Waveny Park?

The four mile trek on Albany Ave. Did it begin in West Hartford or did it extend further into the city after Hartford?

FBI was involved early. Are they still involved? My guess is yes.

And the next town cop's comment just says it all.
Coward versus a woman.
MOO.

One thing stood out to me... the loud banging from inside the house.

In my mind I kept thinking outside but inside interests me.

At 5 am inside loud metal banging. Loud enough to wake up dogs. The neighbors aren’t that close. What on earth was he doing?

I would venture to say there were more dumpster divers. This is such a depressed area. Lots of street people rummaging through trying to survive. Who knows what they garnered or noticed in that week before LE arrived?Thinking we will hear much more in the future. MOO.

Maybe someone else had been digging before this person. That might be my vote since if I were rummaging in a trash can and I saw something g bloody, I’d skip that can. I will say that when I’m throwing out something sharp, I don’t put it in a bag loose. I try to put it in between soft things like an old towel or something thick (and um, if I had anything covered in blood, it would be going) so that anyone adding trash to the can or the trash guy wouldn’t be injured.
