An arrogant man is reaching the end of his private financial road and the chickens are starting to roost. He knows all to well what an audit of his finances will disclose and there is no way out and no more money, he and his rented Kia are running on fumes. He is not Bernie Madoff, he does not have a staff to create years of false financials, let alone the supporting documentation.

If forced to liquidate his remaining holdings at a realistic price (as determined by a professional appraisal), in order to satisfy any and all taxes, liens, loans, judgements (GF), etc. of record, there won't anything left. If the IRS starts slapping him with liens for unpaid payroll taxes and income taxes, everybody else can just get in line. The IRS trumps 'em all, no matter what you recorded or when you recorded it, they have priority.

FD has been living the life of a rock star, without the income of a rock star. His travel costs alone have got to be astronomical, nothing less than first class all the way. This is a man who demands 5 star accommodations, eats nothing less than delicacies and drinks only top shelf alcohol.

Ridiculously expensive homes, the cost of maintaining those homes, heating and cooling them, property taxes, utilities.

Child support - scratch that one!

Payroll, payroll taxes, office expenses, costs of doing business.

Cars, the cost of maintaining and insuring them.

Water skiing equipment, coaching and competitions for him and the kids

Entertainment, fine wines, dining and gifts for MT

Designer clothes, shoes, the latest and greatest of everything! Fotis wins again!

A hollow victory for a hollow man. Shows over for Fotis the one hit wonder!

Ok, I'm done for now, time to put on my MOO MOO!
Excellent synopsis! It was always about FD and the money. MOO!!

Yes to all of this! A force of nature and beyond! To his peril, FD forgot the truth in the saying that the most dangerous place to be is between a mother tiger (or bear, or WSer, etc.) and her cub. (Or a father and the baby. I don’t want to ignore debited dads!) Although JD was 50, our children always are our babies in our hearts in my view. I know I keep saying it but GF, a woman I’ve never met and never will meet, is my hero and role model. Talk about a real-life Wonder Woman.
Totally agree!!! And JD mother, GF, is the ultimate grandmamma bear..go GF, the Holy Spirit is with you!!

Fotis Dulos' attorney, has filed a 5 page response.

How about the deliberately false statements that JD 1) was a long time heroin abuser
2) she committed revenge suicide
3) gone-girl’d

All of these irresponsible statements were specifically designed to taint the jury pool. They aren’t, and do not reflect, evidence proving FD could not and did not harm JD. They absolutely do need a “gag order”

I thought the same. Perhaps the "garage repair man" did not know she was home. Speaking of burning down, I thought of the Folly Farm stable fire. Coincidentally, JD's children rode there. That may have been a message too. Hmm...MOO.

I know they investigated that. I know it was found to be electrical. But I also know that this case and its tentacles have been outside the realm of the usual or surface appearances many times and I no longer can discount this entirely. MOO.

BBM:
Very well put!

I would love to hear the repairman's version of the events surrounding the repairs. It could possibly be innocuous. KM could have a handyman who lives and works off the grid for cash and just surfaces when he gets around to it. Someone who could seem intimidating just by their appearance and communication style, particularly if you were already on edge and with a jerk like KM in your life who wouldn't be? JMO

Perhaps, sure. But using a crowbar on an undoubtedly expensive garage door makes zero sense. You can do a lot of things to unstick a stuck garage door but a crowbar isn’t anything I can imagine being used. Even if it were being replaced, the door rollers come off, etc. In my experience with farmers, mechanics, and handymen all around where I live, crowbars are used for things like destruction or prying apart something you don’t care much about, like part of an old shed. Or beating someone or something. MOO.

I guess FD's DNA found in JD's kitchen is not "scintilla of evidence"???

Example of a Case Law Regarding Scintilla of Evidence
According to the scintilla of evidence rule, a party's testimony must contain some evidence that clarifies the issues of fact and enables the jury to arrive at an intelligent conclusion. However, the evidence does not permit admission of theoretical, speculative, and hypothetical views. Scintilla of evidence is defined as a spark, glimmer, gleam, or the smallest trace of evidence that supports a plaintiff's claim.

Unknown. Its even unclear from the article if the police created a report of the incident. The only thing we know is that he was not arrested. I wonder if Mrs KW took a picture of the guy on her phone too as it appeared she did engage with him in the driveway to figure out what was going on. IDK, simply cannot make this stuff up. MOO

You know, I think people related to this case need to install redundant video and audio security systems that upload instantly to the cloud and do not get taped over. It’s not even that expensive or hard to do.

Stomin' Norman is in the house. My gosh, MT can provide TEXT MESSAGES that prove FD was in Farmington! Breaking news!

And text messages are entirely unable to be manipulated, sent by forward, or by another person or sent at times other than what they seem to be. Right. Sometimes, I flat-out feel insulted on behalf of the entire public by these illogical pronouncements NP expects us to believe. MOO.

  • #654
Maybe he was there not to necessarily hurt her but burn the house down to send a message...IDK?

Just the appearance of both would do, I imagine. I don’t know where she lived but if it’s in the country or a place with only volunteer firefighters (who are WONDERFUL but not there 24/7), the idea of fire seems even worse since you know help likely won’t arrive in time. MOO.

Right-crowbar and gas can are used to destroy something. Nothing that I know of could be “fixed” with these things

agree w/ you- that's the same wild eyed look
I mentioned before that tells me he's on something. You can't hide dilated pupils.
And I'm sure they didn't both just go to their
opthamologist to 'have' their eyes dilated. lol.

I have seen eyes like that related to fear or anger. MOO.

You certainly may be right. At the same time, no one could possibly think that walking up to a house or person with a crowbar and a gas can would be received as anything but a threat. I’d bet that the farmers here, who are very used to people not wearing fashionable clothes would come out with their shotguns loaded and aimed. They might do it even if they knew the person. Those two items are symbols, not just things. MOO.

JMO but here's the TL;DR version of this response for those who have more important things to do than read 5 pages of Norm Pattis lunacy in a size 12 font. "Hi, I'm Mr. Dotis' attorney. I'm writing this 5 page letter to cry, complain, and bellyache about how the media attention towards my client is unfair and UNSOLICITED. It's unsolicited attention, but yet I go on radio shows and do interviews with that same media all the time. I also use that media to spin stupid stories about how this is a real life GONE GIRL. I refuse to abide by your "gag" order because I need to say baseless things to the media so that they are interested in the case while I simultaneously deride them and the attention they're bringing (even though I clearly seek out and welcome that attention). Please accept these 5 pages of drivel from my paralegal with the boyish looking haircut on this, the 7th day of August 2019."

Elliott....you are hereby given the job of writing for NP. It would save ink and time - that's for sure!

I wish they already had done these things. Especially JD
