I have suspected this all along-it’s possible that she isn’t literally protecting him, because he may have told NP that there were texts that would alibi him, but I really don’t think it stops there. She, IMOO, is still Team Fotis, and they’re going to have to drag it all out of her in an ugly way. She still loves that cheating, shiftless, lying, murdering bast*rd. MOO

Pupils can remain dilated up to 2 days after cocaine use. Cocaine use also alters the brain's neural pathways, often permanently, and users require more and more stimulation. Either from more of the drug or more thrill seeking behavior of other types to really feel anything. Regular life doesn't work for them anymore to feel good...leading to irritability. depression and aggression. Life with JD and 5 kids would have been a bore. Cocaine is a drug of choice for people who think they are better than others...those who look down on meth or crack users as a separate category from themselves. IME and MOO based on my own personal research.

I believe the order she sought would have allowed LE immediately to arrest KM if he violated its terms. The one she had requires her to file a motion for contempt and go back to court.

Sad point being, "he" (KM) may not have openly violated the order, but just might have enlisted his ex client / friend (FD) to do him a 'solid', because he owed him one, and was very much up for the task. Yet another "end run" just on the fringes and skirting but not outright blatantly defying the orders and laws, and getting away with what he could, on the part of FD, oui, oui... MOO-ey

I wonder when she started her relationship with FD

MT was married in 2013, and her husband filed for divorce Dec. 2016. So sometime between that likely. There was a media photo of FD and MT together with 2 of the kids (presumably her daughter and his son) wearing bathing suits posing for a photo that was dated summer 2016.

Lots of interesting ideas. Will go back and read the arrest warrant again as there is alot to unpack in your post.

There is something that has always bothered me about the 4Jx party that you bring up here.

In my mind I guess I had always wondered if it was possibly cooked up by the 2 co-conspirators/suspects in this case and it was also odd to me that there was this aura around the party as being one of 'celebration'. Did FD and MT announce to their friends that they planned to get married and spend their lives together? IDK But it seemed odd timing to get a bunch of friends together IMO.

Given what was to come next on the 24th made this entire event at 4Jx so profoundly distasteful as I cannot get the idea out of my head that the 2 events (party at 4Jx and JD missing on 24th) are tied. We have zero evidence to support this feeling that has been floating around in my head now for so long but the timing of the events simply seemed strange. I don't believe in coincidence so this party at 4Jx always unsettled me for reasons that are probably too gruesome to contemplate.

Afitzy, I agree, IMO the Thurs eve gathering served another purpose as well as providing MT with the purse alibi next day. But I can’t read between the lines here. I’ve no idea what horrors you have been considering that are too hideous to say overtly. Any more clues?

They may well look at it again-I wonder, at this point, if any future investigation could show that arson might have taken place?

The part that has always bothered me about the horse barn where JD took the children to ride in earlier years catching fire in the night or early morning hours and destroying the barn and killing over 2 dozen horses, is... drumroll please... it was one of the activities JD wanted the children to be involved with that FD objected to (IIRC, he complained about in divorce court that she would make arrangements for the children to participate in other activities besides waterskiing). MOO

I do not know which summer law clerk wrote this pleading, but it is absolutely terrible! It is so poorly drafted and it just a jumble of words. NP certainly likes his clerks to pontificate.

FD didn't know his wife was missing when he made that garbage dump? THEN WHY WAS HE THROWING AWAY HER BLOODY CLOTHES, THE SAME CLOTHES SHE WAS SEEN WEARING JUST BEFORE THE MURDER??? He was disposing of the evidence of murder, WHICH EVEN FD SURELY KNOWS IS AGAINST THE LAW! Sorry for yelling, but this is such a basic point that even NP should be able to comprehend it.

This latest mess is what is called a "speaking" pleading. It lacks legal authority or critical analysis, and is more of the same grandstanding NP seems to believe is an adequate substitute for actual representation of his client."Sound and fury, signifying nothing."

And to add to that - WHAT was FD doing with JD's clothes in the 1st place?! I wonder what Norm could come up with for an answer to that! Does it matter WHEN FD was disposing of JD's clothes?! NOPE -because obviously he should NOT have had her clothes to dispose of in the 1st place, regardless of WHEN it was! GRRRR

ETA - especially bloody clothes! It's not like he was cleaning out her closet at his 4 JC so-called mansion and just happened to throw some clothes of hers away and drive for an hour to get rid of them! These were bloody clothes and presumed to be clothes that she had on when she went missing!!!

Good questions, I haven't read every post in the last few days, but has there been any follow up on the DA having 'found' FD to serve papers IIRC they were looking to do last week, and they weren't able to find him at home (4JX)? Where the heck is he, and why is he laying so low these days? Is his ankle / wrist monitor working? What the heck???

Just hoping LE is about giving him enough rope, and building a solid case against him.

Because from outward appearances, you could have fooled me, and knocked me over with a feather (or gagged me with a spoon) with all the latest developments heaped on top of all the previous nefarious goings on by JD's estranged husband and his cohorts!

MOO: Let’s remember that the person who called this a “dinner party” was NP/FD, right? Do we know for sure this was even a party? Or was it just some people over at the house that night? Was FD even there?
We have also been told that MT was returning a purse left at the party the next morning. And so IMO we envision perhaps some sort of party purse, the type of small clutch that one would take for an evening out. All of this could be a shaded description of events, potentially purposeful misleading.
MOO, that we shouldn’t make too many assumptions about what went on that night based solely on the description proffered by NP. LE has surveillance video of 4JC driveway from JC neighbor cameras so must have a record of which cars arrived and left and when, that night. Of course, some could have hiked in to the party via the back entrance, carrying their purses with them....

Usually, to comply with an order of protection, you are not allowed to enlist the aid of another person to get contact. KM is a lawyer and knows that full well. Enlisting another person to get contact is not an end run. It is a violation. MOO
