I know nothing about this situation at all but I know that you, like virtually everyone else I have encountered in this thread, consider the information provided and share your thoughts as part of an open dialogue of critical thinking about this very complicated, multi-faceted case. While it may not appear that I feel this way in light of some of my recent posts, in fact, I believe strongly in the importance of considering authentic, opposing and disparate viewpoints; we learn so much that way and can then see things we might never have seen otherwise including about the strengths, weaknesses, and biases of our own perspectives. I mean this and hope it comes through as sincere as I don’t want to make others feel constrained about sharing their opinions. I need to work on my behavior when I feel someone is trolling and denigrating others who are here with authentic opinions as I, incorrectly, thought I was being polite but firm; I need to remember that no one made me the judge of who or what is trolling. No stoning here; I apologize to you and all for having made such pushback a concern here. All MOO.
No apology necessary! Your posts are always thoughtful and informative. We had a situation IMO an attempt to derail us. MOO MOO MOO MOO! It is over and now we turn our attention to what is important-the truth about the cold-blooded, calculated, and premeditated murder of a mother of five.

Something that I've wondered about since the beginning of this case-
FD's possible criminal history back in Greece.

I just find it hard to believe a man goes from
Zero to Violent Crime/Murder without having
a previous history that foresaw this potential.

Did he kill cats and dogs? or rabbits? Or his
sister's goldfish? What's his back story?

Wish we had a way to really sleuth his years
in Greece. And I wonder if his history would
tie in with his move to US. Did his parents want to ship him off to get him out of their hair?
Did he have a juvenile crime record he was
running from?
Did he do violent things to young relatives
and the family outcasted him and/or his family?
There just has to be a backstory we haven't heard yet. MOO. Other opinions wanted here.

Lawyers looking to drop Fotis Dulos in divorce case, loan lawsuit

I’m posting this article as it states KM was withdrawing representation of FD but he’s still being copied.

Also, FD’s ex-attorney John Clifford interests me. I wonder what the serious issues he cites were. Hmmm. Can LE question him since he’s no longer representing FD? He probably has a lot to say.

KM withdrew his withdrawal of appearance on July 19, which means he is still counsel for FD and why he’s being copied.
They change their minds a lot don’t they.

Defense Attorney for Fotis Dulos files emergency motion seeking evidence from prosecutors
First: Pattis would like any video or audio recordings of any interviews with Fotis’ girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, conducted by police as well as any field notes. Troconis also pleaded ‘not guilty’ to Tampering with Evidence and Hindering Prosecution.

Second: Pattis would like to obtain physical evidence. In a bail hearing, the prosecutor said they had Fotis Dulos’ DNA on the kitchen sink at the home where the disappearance of his estranged wife happened. They want the DNA blood of the physical evidence turned over so they can look at it.

Third: Pattis wants access to electronic evidence from the cell phones and computers the state seized early on in the investigation. The state says they were able to use them to trace the steps of Fotis Dulos to the north end of Hartford where he and Troconis allegedly dumped a trash bag full of items containing Jennifer’s blood. Pattis says he believes the cell phones will prove his client was not in New Canaan at the time his estranged wife went missing.

Well Done.

Don't forget that LE did not get the cell phone pings from the actual phones.

LE got the pings directly from the cell phone Company.

At the point of FO and HO's arrests, LE did not have HO's cell phone yet, therefore LE could not have tracked her phone pings by her actual phone, if they did not have it in hand.

The pings were what brought LE to Albany Avenue, where HO's phone was found pinging right along with FO's.

LE was then able to arrest FO and HO by the pings from the cell phone company, before even getting HO's phone.

I would think that NP could get the same phone pings directly from the cell phone company, just like LE did.

IMO

Do you think ‘interviewing the former employee’ is just like MT ‘taking a lie detector test’ ?
Norm’s over-the-top indignant pontificating took a serious blow after that credibility- bursting gaffe.
MOO

From the article:
Pattis also contended in the order that state police interviewed a former employee of the Fore Group, the real estate development company owned by Fotis Dulos, Monday evening in an attempt to get the person to speculate on where the body of Jennifer Farber Dulos might be located. The former employee did not provide the information, in what Pattis said was an attempt to implicate his client in the disappearance of his estranged wife.

If we have not already, we need to add Pontificating to the P word list.

IMO

I don’t think he can answer questions about his representation of FD-like, what their conversations were about, and what he advised him about. That’s privileged, even if he no longer represents him. But maybe a look at Mr. Clifford’s background might tell the story-maybe Lawyer Clifford is squeaky clean, unlike some of the other attorneys FD hangs with (like D Ford and Kent M). He may not have wanted FD’s hijinks to taint him. I am just guessing, since I know nothing about him.

So how did NP know employee didn’t speculate about location of body? Hope there is no mole and leaks from LE but fishing by NP.
This must have been the guy FD swapped vehicles with that week. He’s the employee who IMMEDIATELY hired a successful criminal lawyer to assist with LE questions. Phew. Too close for me. Intelligent and fast acting to immediately realize the seriousness of his situation. Good for him.

They change their minds a lot don’t they.

He may want to stay in the circle, so he knows exactly which way the wind is blowing. And maybe both KM and FD have some stuff to say about each other’s activities, they may want to hang together and hope that neither will be hurt if they both keep their mouths shut? I really am not sure why he wanted to withdraw his withdrawal-that is quite interesting!

His first wife, attorney, now works in the area of women's rights. This was posted awhile back on WS. In light of your comment, maybe her experiences with FD during the marriage led her to that area of law practice. She also had an “amicable” divorce. Her training taught her to let things go and not fight him. Not worth it. MOO

Rose and Clifford withdrew too about the same time but they’re not being copied. Is KM remaining his attorney to claim a certain privilege?!!

Why would they interview him at FORE offices? Maybe that part is the lie, making it appear that everybody is still sticking with FD. Was there a motion by EE’s attorney that there should be no contact from FD or any of his representatives? Why do I think there was?

Replying as I wanted to apologize. I missed the withdrawal of withdrawal part! So yes! ITA. I hope that’s emphasized in court as their actions are so blatantly fishy. MOO

I wish LE confiscated KM’s phone too as they’re may be interesting things culled from it. MOO

Not that it makes a difference now, but who called it an amicable divorce? They didn’t fight over any stuff that we know of, but “amicable” sounds “friendly” to me, and I am not sure I completely buy that it was friendly-she may have been relieved to see the back of him as he left, though. She hasn’t spoken publicly, so we likely won’t ever know what happened with those two. He may have called it “amicable”, because he is the one who wanted out, I think. I just don’t see him letting go of someone who he thinks belongs to him, unless he is the one who wants out. Look at how he behaved with JD, and he didn’t love her. She had to sneak away, after months of planning (likely).

He started getting paid by Greek mystery benefactor. Bc the privilege would not be lost even after representation ends.

Can they subpoena his call records from the cell phone company, and have what they need? Not sure how it works.
