Strange--I thought I would find more joy in FD arrest but instead I have thought more about JD since the arrest.

Gee whiz! You don't get on here all day and things go crazy. I'll never catch up.

We all have our fixations and mine is believing LE has electronic listening devices every place FD takes a step....houses, cars, hotels.....wherever.

I can't imagine Grandmother's apartment wouldn't be wired. If LE didn't do it, her security detail would.

Wouldn't it just be great if today's evidence of tampering was audio of FD talking somebody out of talking?!

I can't wait to hear! For once in this case I'm thankful there is no gag order.

Its an interesting question and I do wonder if they have his phone covered and car tagged and tracked.

I was waiting today to see if he was driving one of his personal vehicles back today (or was still in the very cute Kia!) but it looked like he was driven by No Case Norm in his Volvo SUV (I believe this is correct but if its not just post the correction). It seems like he needed a ride home after the State Police picked him up around 2-230 pm today. Interesting they didn't let him drive himself in for processing.

It looks like the HC has put some additional reporters on the case and is taking a more cautious and balanced approach here.
Maybe they listened to you @afitzy !

Hope this represents a turn in their reporting.

Not in any way to excuse the recent reporting by DA, but I think the stark contrast between the tightlipped LE in this case, and the wacko, out of this world, science fiction litigation scene that is NP, presents a perhaps once in a career challenge, to maintain one’s commitment to professional journalistic standards. NP is churning it out as fast as he can conjure it up, complete with photo ops and sound bites from FD, and hopefully the HC has seen the light and will start to take a cautious, reflective approach to what and how they print here. NP is going to get worse before it gets better, so hopefully they’ve seen the light.

Its actually so interesting that No Case Norm attacked the reporter that asked the question with the statement, "Where is your objectivity" when she had the "audacity" to ask, "Where is Jennifer?". Honestly, who else was the reporter going to ask this question to No Case Norm?

We are dealing with the fact that JD is missing and FD has been accused now multiple times of tampering/hindering in the disappearance of JD. So, how can No Case Norm make any claim as to lack of objectivity for a reporter simply doing their job? IMO that reporter was the only one dealing with the elephant issue in the room and he simply attacked her?

Infuriating. Shame on HIM! I'd like to see reporters really push his buttons and ask some straight up questions that deserve answers. Reporters, don't back down. He's avoiding the NO. 1 question. Professional? No! Bully? Yes. My opinion only.

We will see. They always had 3 folks following and I guess it just depended who was on duty when news broke? IDK. Good to see an expanded team and will just have to see how things go with the reporting.

Trying to keep an open mind on it all but Pattis seems to be in quite tight with Owens and Altimari so they have a challenging path to clean reporting IMO.

Also, Pattis seems petty and vindictive and my guess is he wouldn't hesitate to punish a reporter for not going verbatim with his quotes with no 'fluff' such as questions in the article etc.

Tough days in journalism but everyone here is watching!

I’d love love love to get one or two really pushy reporters to hound the living daylights out of NCN ... every time he set foot outside a court room .. related or not to Fo N Ho.... everyone has got a breaking point

I wish I was that female reporter, because job or no job, ole Norm would not have liked my response to his "shame on you" comment. I can guarantee you that! After all, who does he think HE is to say "shame on you" to a reporter who only asked a question?! FO just looks at Norm like he just worships the ground that he walks on....they sure are two peas in a pod, eh?! And FO just stands there and smiles and smiles some more. And then as they walk off, Norm puts his arm around FO as if to protect him from the media/reports. How pathetic....

JUST IN: here’s Fotis Dulos’ new mug shot. In the lengthy warrant for this new evidence tampering charge, police say they can place Dulos in New Canaan at the time his estranged wife disappeared. They also say her blood was found in the car Dulos was driving then.
