Absolutely agree about the business angle. But IMO the diminishment of the value of HC reporting has been sacrificed. This paper was never about the 'clicks' and did solid reporting IMO. Now, not so much. Disappointing.
True, but I wonder if they're like most other print media and are slowly dying.
sign of the times, maybe?

No Case Norm said, "FD is neither bending nor breaking" and "not guilty plea will be made as soon as possible".

  • #483
Does this mean he warrants 2 ankle bracelets?
Just kidding. MOO.

lol
I am still catching up on the news/this thread but this got me thinking...could it be a tampering charge related to something else entirely? Like, the horse barn fire or his mothers death or something with the KM case? It seems weird that it would be for evidence that he was already arrested for tampering with.

It seems to be related to this case specifically.

They must have found evidence that he tampered with another item of evidentiary value.

I’m expecting that we’ll hear details any minute.

It's the wee hours of the morning in Greece!
Yes, no coincidence on this timing! Hope he has some cash in coffee cans around 4Jx that he could dig up to make bail! MOO

I think any additional charge that is not a murder charge, is merely “a jab,” in his eyes.
He’s grasping as usual - I would love to see his legal bills JMO

Absolutely. But the HC is I believe the oldest continuously operating newspaper in the US. They have won many awards and have a longstanding tradition of investigative reporting. I wouldn't have jumped on this issue if it had been the local Patch or small mom and pop online operation but to see this with the HC is disturbing to me. MOO

Here we go:

A statement from Norm Pattis, Dulos attorney:

“In the 12-round bout that is State v Dulos this doesn’t even rise to the level of a jab. Fotis is neither bending nor breaking. We will enter a not guilty plea the first chance we get.”

Argh I hate that guy. Norm sees this as a macho battle, nothing to do with justice, nothing to do with what is right or true; he cares only about "winning." He seems very much like his client, just a pugnacious and arrogant and entitled narcissist.

So they are saying he will post bond but hasn't as of yet ? Been dealing with RL family stuff so I'm kind of behind ... Tampering again ?

LOL...I also remember NP making a snarky comment about FD's original attorney and that attorney's failure to secure bail for FD. We'll see how fast NP can put together $34,000 for the simple, "not a psychopath," gregarious, jump-suited fellow.

Norm is great for business, as much as I hate saying that.

This guy is a reporter’s dream.
Definitely. He is the gift that keeps on giving.
Our discussions would be dead without him.
MOO.

I can already predict what he’s going to say:

“This DA continues to harass my client, piling on frivolous and unsupported charges. Fotis Dulos maintains his innocence in this witch-hunt, and he looks forward to his vindication in court.”

In other words “yada, yada, yada.”

But you forgot to use a thesaurus and as many adjectives as humanly possible, as NP tends to do!

Local weather in CT is getting dicey per the radar. Could see a downpour in BPT shortly. Tornados and downpours in Hartford.

That guy is nuts! Who even talks that way? Is he already wondering who will portray him in the made for TV movie? Hey, Normie how about that InfoWar loss? I bet you were actually happy to have a diversion today! As a spokesman, you just don't measure up.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, talk about what they are gonna do.

No Case Norm, "Shame on you!" to yet another reporter after she had the audacity to ask, "Where is Jennifer?"!

Why does he always feel compelled to treat female reporters this way? He has now done this at least 3 times and its always, "Shame on you"!

IMO today we saw a testy and agitated No Case Norm. He wouldn't talk about the charges and FD comment related to the 'exhausting process' and how his 'loves/misses his children'.

True. He does speak like Jackie Chiles, of “Seinfeld” fame:

“That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!”

FD's smirk. Infuriating. IMO.

He's trying to balance out the fact that FD has a weakness for the female reporters.
