I was speaking specifically to the poster's suggestion that Troconis may have been in New Canaan helping with the murder, which is not supported by evidence:

She was charged with evidence tampering.
As to how FD pulled off the murder; there are a lot of questions and missing pieces I have been trying to ascertain as I mentioned.
If he was alone with the murder with everything connected in New Canaan to that; where did the clean up materials come from?
If he put the corpse in the Suburban how was it put in there and how was it transferred to the pick up? How much actual bulk was involved in the murder and put in bags? We see the back of the pick up driving on the Merritt on the way back, it doesn't seem terribly full.
This is just me. NP said himself JD was 88 lbs. I know the effect of - excuse the terminology - regular vs. dead weight. The 88 lbs were divided amongst a 5'10" or so body, as well. IMO, FD moved JD by himself, IMO. He's a water skier. I've seen pics of him even single handing it. I can dead lift 75 lbs and I'm an old lady (over 55), 5' tall, 103 lbs. I've helped move huge bags of mulch slung over my shoulder, as well.
By the laws of Physics, here we go. Basically, one can figure this out relatively painfully. LOL
The weight of an object(FD) vs speed of FD vs boat speed vs weight of other object (boat). The resistance of H2O as opposed to the effect on the "wake" vs resistance on FD vs any wind/air. FD exerts an amount of strength vs all the factors he needs to overcome to stay standing up on the skis via arm strength.
This all correlates to blah, blah, blah.
I'd say dude was strong and did this part by himself. There also could have been storage totes in the garage like many people store things in.
It's hard to judge what's in or not in a truck bed by a picture, no? Perhaps what or whom is inside is what might count more?
Cleaning supplies? There probably were some at the house - maybe where DNA on faucet came from? Maybe in a backpack. A "kill kit", so to speak.
Amount of bulk in bags? It's pretty much a non issue, IMO ONLY IMO, since there was JD's blood on items in them. Judging by the smallish white bags he dumped at the car wash, maybe not too much?
The rest, I'm pretty positive that might be part of AW3, or discovery.
Patience, Grasshopper. Patience.
Can I just address the Gone Girl crap?? JD leaves to frame FD or whatever junk NP is spewing. So, before that, she went to the blood bank and stole her blood to splash around the garage and leave on her clothes and had it all left for FD to clean up. I HATE when that happens!
