If they do find her there (as we all hope they will) - it underscores how overconfident and stupid he is - to dump her in almost his own back yard? Stunning, if so.

Actually it seems just like FD. I always said he put her where he could always keep an eye on her.Psychopath!

I'm not talking about one person saying she isn't attractive, it's been going on since day one and has been ugly. I don't appreciate anyone shaming other people for their appearance. There are other ways to bring levity to a terrible situation.

They being said, yes, I agree we should stick to the case.

ETA: I'm clearly in the minority here, which is why I haven't brought it up in the months this case has been active. I'll go back to ignoring the comments about people's looks.

I agree with you, because women are always judged by their looks, shamed by their looks, valued for their looks (or not) - while men rarely are. That's a problem.

Weird time to start a dive.

Makes me hopeful they have something. I know diving a reservoir would be dark, so daylight wouldn’t matter once they go a few inches under water. It’s dark either way. But I agree it’s late here on the east coast to dive. Let’s hope they are confident something is in there.

I missed what you're referring to, but I will say I'm disgusted by how much people shame MT for her looks. IMO, she's not unattractive, but that has NOTHING to do with the case. It shouldn't even be a topic of discussion.

Just thinking about Laci Peterson and how long her body was in the SF Bay.

Was it four and a half months?

IIRC there was still enough soft tissue that the baby was held in her womb most of that time.

Distance as the crow flies: 1.20 miles.
Distance following most logical pathways: roughly 2 miles.

Well, it was her DNA on these items. However, were these items JD 's? Couldn't it have been MT clothing items that had JD blood on them?

Could this be an early part of the Albany Ave spree?
How does this fit into the time line?
Is this location the beginning of the 4 mile drive down Albany Ave?

In terms of sheer distances and perspective, IMO, it isn't beyond the realm of possibility that some evidence (JD's remains) was disposed in the reservoir areas that afternoon, after which FD went for a 10 minute ride with MT to Albany Avenue to get rid of evidence of the cleanup in a disadvantaged, high crime neighborhood.

From New Canaan (JD's home) to Farmington (where FD & MT lived) is 70+ miles, and from there to Albany Avenue in Hartford is only 7 miles (direct route without stopping at the reservoirs):

And the Hartford Reservoirs (#6 is northerly and shown on google maps here, but any of them are within spitting distance of Albany Ave from his house) where LE has searched before and is searching again today is right nearby where FD lived and a 10-15 minute drive (with a stop at the reservoirs) to where he and MT were seen dumping bloody evidence. It's 'on the way' and 'not that far' and could well be he started at the reservoirs disposing of her body, and drove another 10 minutes to dispose of bloody evidence along Albany Avenue, IMO.

You weren't also taken aback by Ruminations calling MT "pretty"?

Could anyone state that in "good faith"?

Chicago54’s post was great- and correct that I was misreading her post and then attacking her for my misguided interpretation. I read it to say Michelle is the or the primary murderer, absolving Fotis or minimizing his role. That is not what she said, but that’s what I read and overreacted to. I was way out of line suggesting bad faith.

I am sorry about my post. I apologized for it. I decided not to delete it (yet) because this forum is moving so fast, and there was so much potential for added conversation about it - due to my tone and Chicago54’s setting me straight.

I hope you were not too taken aback by my comment that Michelle is pretty. I think it’s true. If I didn’t think so, I’d say nothing at all. My policy is no gratuitous personal appearance digs. The rest of the “pretty” sentence has a substantial theory, and Chicago54 made a substantial rebuttal. Would/could Fotis drop her like last years iPhone? What do you think?

strange...the other tags too....

MT and her sister had a fashion business which dealt with exotic hides and skins (like seal). I think it's just related to that; tags to promote her company.
