Is anyone else constantly refreshing this thread? I can't seem to help myself. I keep hoping for good news (well, as good as can be, considering the awful circumstances).

I never bring this up on my laptop so that I stay focused on work or school but here I am! I have this auto-refresh app (Auto Refresh) that I use for one job and that's what's doing it now. BUT I see that I will need to work longer tonight given my preoccupation! MOO.

This is true, but it's still shaming her for her looks. The amount she gets bashed for it is significantly more than FD, and he's the real monster. Again, I just don't think it has any bearing on the case and is mildly offensive. JMO. *shrug*

If you're keeping score I'm on this thread every afternoon and part of the night and FD gets blasted way more often.
(Do I need to get a life? Yes!)

It took two to bring Jennifer's "disappearance" about though so I don't expect MT will be getting any breaks here.

@BellaVita, I've thought that for a long time, but was afraid to say it, so - thank you for braving that for me. I hinted at it a few days ago in a post - 'what did he do with her body in that time'... related to her tshirt and bra. Why take the time to remove them? That thought (rape) came to me, strongly - as another reason he did the physical killing part on his own.

As you all know, no doubt, rape is a violent act, and as he couldn't have her (he wanted to have her AND MT live with him at the house, after all)... it does fit.

IMOO. He did not want JD at all any more. He was totally done with her as a wife. Just not ready to pay the financial price. And, I don't believe for a minute that he wanted her to live there at the same time as MT. People like FD throw BS against the wall all day every day. He just wanted to play with her sanity. He couldn't stand her and was glad to see her go. He called 911 when she left so he would look like the good guy, concerned for his wayward wife. He wanted to crush her in every way. When a sociopath is done with you, they want to see you squashed and humiliated. I have seen the depths of their fury and soullessness. This act of power before her murder is more probable than possible to me. MOO.

I found myself remembering Scott Peterson parked near SF Bay watching the searchers.

Maybe FD is packed and loaded for a Canadian vacation since he, like Scott, knows exactly what's coming next.

NCPD is so efficient they probably have a bungee cord hooked to the back of whichever vehicle FD has left.

My guess is that Pattis and FO are sitting at the kitchen island at 4Jx with a nice plate of pasta and a glass of red wine.

Wonder if Pattis is hanging out at 4Jx tonight perhaps in anticipation of him being needed!?!?!?

actually, yes they showed gloves and totally covered all over, head included. But they said
even with gloves, cuts can happen. They even mentioned the perp using the sink to wash up
because stabbing deaths are so bloody.
Sounds like a sink is a common area for forensic
people to hit paydirt, as was here.

That lady interviewed said she feels JD's spirit when she runs there. That gave me chills. It's a huge area. I am praying JD is brought home tonight.

I don't think so. I doubt a criminal from Hartford would travel all the way to WL in NC, leave the Suburban in NC and somehow bring her bloody clothes back to Hartford. MOO. But maybe that is what FD thought.
