OMG! Does he think people don't pay attention to words and language? Interesting, though, given all the fabrications we've seen before, why NP would even answer with a somewhat possibly true response rather than some giant, movie-line denial. I think that judge may have subdued him a bit. MOO.

Maybe FD is packed and loaded for a Canadian vacation since he, like Scott, knows exactly what's coming next.

NCPD is so efficient they probably have a bungee cord hooked to the back of whichever vehicle FD has left.

Yes, the IRS is much easier to set up a "payment plan" with. I know from personal experience. $75.00/month - from now until the taxes are paid. Good news - they were very nice and considerate in letting us make the arrangements. Maybe the "language" barrier has FD saying "loan" versus "payment plan"...or maybe he is just an ID10T...I go with the last choice. moo (except for the tax payment - and that is truth)...LOL!

I'm not talking about one person saying she isn't attractive, it's been going on since day one and has been ugly. I don't appreciate anyone shaming other people for their appearance. There are other ways to bring levity to a terrible situation.

That being said, yes, I agree we should stick to the case.

ETA: I'm clearly in the minority here, which is why I haven't brought it up in the months this case has been active. I'll go back to ignoring the comments about people's looks.

And back to the case:

There are other ways to end a marriage besides murder and oh, how I wish FD and his mistress had chosen not to kill Jennifer and hide her body, then distribute bloody clean-up mops and sponges in Hartford.

I wish that with all my heart. I wish we had never heard their names and I wish Jennifer was sitting on the sidelines watching her kids play soccer this evening. Oh, how I wish it!

It took two to bring Jennifer's "disappearance" about though so I don't expect MT will be getting any breaks here.

While most things NP has said so far have been lies, early on NP did say that there wasn't video of FD leaving 4JC that morning (or video of FD entering Welles from front). Big grain of salt of course.

But since we don't have anything in the warrants showing FD that morning before the webcam at Fairfield, is it possible that either 1)FD spent that night somewhere else, maybe with KM?, or maybe at 80MS? and left from there in the morning? The first sighting we know if is in Fairfield so that could put FD anywhere on the map as a starting point.

Alternatively, and much less likely, 2)MT (or KM?) drove him out of 4JC to 80MS or wherever the red truck was parked, and FD was hiding in the back of the vehicle so as not to be seen on video? I think this less likely because if they were trying to avoid FD being caught on camera leaving, how would they explain that other vehicle leaving on camera so early in the morning (as you say around 5:15/5:30am). Unless this is the "early morning meeting with lawyer" that NP originally alluded to.

or, 3) FD snuck out the back door and through the woods at 4JC somehow to avoid camera detection. While this seems like it would be a classic plan, it was way early and FD had a long road ahead of him that day, so not sure this would be his preferred choice in planning it out. That would mean running and/or biking twice through the woods that day before he meets up with JD to get her at around 8am. FD didn't look as fit as I expected him to on the Dateline running segment, so I am hedging on this.

I agree with you, because women are always judged by their looks, shamed by their looks, valued for their looks (or not) - while men rarely are. That's a problem.

Specialty divers aside, IMO the officers starting this search this late in the afternoon are most likely on day shift, meaning they should be due to go home soon. Which means if they are continuing their search and not going home, they must have a fairly good lead or hunch to stay on and search. These men and women are missing family time, their kids sporting events, and school open houses at this point to search this late in the evening. So let’s hope there is something credible.

Do LE shifts work like nursing shifts? Second shift was always 3-11 for my mother.
