Anyone know how dark it was around 6-630 at the end of May ?
I'm sure this was answered, but sundown was a little after 7 that day I believe. I looked it up to reference the surveillance image. I knew it was close to that time from a picture I happened to take that night.

Kevin Rennie: The system works when our rights are protected

Jennifer Dulos’ estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, has been arrested for tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution. His girlfriend at the time of the disappearance, Michelle Traconis, has also been charged with the same crimes. The Courant’s Dave Altimari has been leading the news coverage of a story featuring many surprises. The biggest one for the public appears to be that Fotis Dulos has not been arrested for the murder of Jennifer Dulos.

The attention the public is paying to the Dulos case and the extraordinary resources law enforcement is devoting to solving it make it more likely that the case will be solved. The passing of each day leads to the inescapable conclusion that the mother of five young children was the victim of a killer.

Fotis Dulos has the right to legal counsel. The right of that legal counsel and others involved in the investigations to speak to the public through the media is broad but not unlimited, as we learned Thursday with news of the court granting a request for a gag order by a state prosecutor. Dulos’ lawyer says he’ll appeal that. The rights guaranteed to each of us can sometimes infuriate most of us when exercised by others. They are the best way to justice.
You would not want it any other way.

If it was anything, it was from JX. It's hard to tell the clearance between his property and the power lines that run south towards the main road and how traversable the terrain is. If he could make it through the trees behind his house to the power lines with a vehicle, though, there's what looks to be a dirt maintenance path that also connects with the maintenance road for the entire reservoir system. So incredibly easy if that was possible.

Otherwise, there is also an entrance from the road according to @Bulldogs2

The listing has terrific aerial views if you know the direction of the reservoir

I’m inclined to believe he took her clothes off after the fact. For fear of any of his dna being found. Always seems to be worried about his hair. And for that matter, I don’t think she would allow him to threaten her into disrobing, as she was a fighter and hated him intensely, from all I’ve read
I understand how many, if not most, find this idea absurd.
BBM: you might be surprised what someone will do if they think it buys them some time.

I see your point, and that was just my own opinion. I don't believe that it is the NCPD's fault. I just do not personally think that they are equipped with the resources nor experience to tackle this investigation with the amount of force that it needs. Local law enforcement in the area I am sure is making it a priority. But I question the length of the investigation, and after seeing the amount of overtime the officers have worked on the case, I just worry that they are in over their heads. MOO

You do know that NCPD is not the lead on this case, right?

The State has this case and NCPD is assisting among other State and Federal agencies.

Another thought occurred to me - we know the raptor was caught on video returning to 4JC after Albany - and FD checked his mail- might that same video also capture his return from switching vehicles and potentially leaving to go to the reservoir before the Albany trip -and they are holding that back for the murder warrant ? Stick around here very long and you'll see there is no one minimizing FD's role in Jennifer's "disappearance".

There was a time when MT's role was up for discussion but AW2 pretty much changed that. Most here are no longer minimizing her role either. As my old grandmother said, "The chickens have come home to roost!"

Do I think FD would drop MT in a heartbeat? Study up on "Malignant Narcissists" or read the posts here of women who've been close to destroyed by his type.
The answer is, "Yes."

(ETA: On second thought, FD might more likely marry MT if it would keep her from testifying against him!)
Oh My Goodness!

I would hate to see the testimonial priviledge enter the fray here.

Hate it.

Not sure what the process will be to declare JD deceased but it seems that the Farber family is slowly moving in that direction as we have seen in the 4Jx foreclosure documents.

Then there is the divorce issue.....this one is a bit sticky....

But, at least with the no contact order in place in Criminal Court, if FO + HO wanted to get married they would have to ask the court to be able to be in the same place at the same time (both possibly in orange jumpsuits!), find someone to officiate and dig up some witnesses.

What a picture! An orange jumpsuit wedding of FO + HO!

Based on Google Maps, it would be to the right of the front of the house. I can't see it in the photos.

BUT, from the tax records, he *does* own a dirt bike. Not sure if you can hitch a small trailers to those, like the ones that are also on his tax records. If so, it would be relatively easy to get to the power lines.

I bet FD is on the look out for another sugar momma . You know there is some poor woman desperate enough to go for it . He’s about to be kicked out of his wife’s parents mansion ... dudes gotta have a place to live and I doubt he’d settle for motel 6 .
DBM.

A thought popped into my head. We are all on pins and needles wondering what is happening with the new search. Can you imagine how her children, mom, and close family and friends are feeling, hoping her remains are found? I am still praying!!

That’s something a serial killer might do.

FD was a first time killer who was likely focused on murder, revenge, and most importantly, getting away with it.

I can’t fathom him taking those chances, or even having the time to play sick games.

I get what you're saying & it makes sense. The reason I suggested the possibility was because I thought he liked to dominate and control J and that would be one last show of both.

I've thought of this as well. We knew early on that a neighbor handed in their tapes and FD was seen checking the mail. It would only make sense they have more footage, right?

It’s really late - any idea if they are still there ?

Yeah. My thinking is he got that power and control when he violently attacked her.

That was the very definition of it.

I don’t understand how you came to this conclusion.
Ugh. I have to walk into a work meeting/dinner until late tonight (and no way to access internet). I am hoping to see this site on fire with news in my absence. Fingers crossed.
Maybe Mommie Dearest coached MT on how to drag things out without outright cooperation until she could make a hard deal with authorities for key information. Her mother was convicted of federal charges but didn't 'do any time' herself, IIRC. She's been at MT's side since day 1, IMO, 'working her magic' to set her daughter up for a minimum sentence, and to not take a fall with FD, I would have to believe.
Mom was not convicted. She entered into and successfully completed a federal pretrial diversion program, resulting in the dismissal of her the charges against. We don't know what mom is telling MT. I want to believes she is telling her daughter to do the right thing, but only time will tell.

I need to read it tomorrow at some point. It's good to hear there's nothing mentioned about documents.
I'm not unhappy with the idea of losing comments from Pattisville and not having the various leaks from a variety of sources etc. that we could never tell were real or not!

These were all a huge distraction on WS IMO and while interesting at times and through provoking at other times, in general I think were unproductive.

The State Police didn't have a media strategy in this case so far as I saw and so we heard little from them and NCPD and other participants.

We've been doing ok with all the limited information!

Just have to keep moving!

Okay, I was looking at this satellite view earlier, so I figured I'd share some of my thoughts.

- The circled property is 4JX. An arrow is pointing to reservoir 3.
- I drew a line through wide open areas that appear to have power lines through them. A maintenance path runs parallel to them.
- I circled the maintenance road that runs through the area, as well as another opening in the trees that appears it would be easy to navigate.
- If this is premeditated, my guess would be that JD is likely in the densely forested area between all of those paths.

Great screen shot.

Just an FYI - 4JC is the house across from the construction site in the screen shot.

For some reason in Google Maps, FORE shows up next to the house you have circled, but that is not 4JC.

I think finding a place to live is not going to be difficult as bond will most likely not be an option for ole FO.
I agree. But he’s totally the type to get about 5000 idiot women writing him love letters while he sits in prison. (And I’m a woman, so no offense meant).

I have a small lawn/garden tractor w/ hitch for
my 6-7 ft. trailer that I can tow a lot even through rough terrain and a 3 ft wide path.
