He is seeking more info on the family finances beyond the 2 JD Trusts (neither of which had anything to do with the FIL loans).

I've long been fascinated with folks that believe working hard for a living and earning money the 'old fashioned way' is something to be looked down upon or made fun of. The particularly vile category of these people to me are the ones that will KILL for what others worked hard to build or had inherited.

When I think of FD setting up a 'faux' construction firm owning no tools or equipment and using all subcontractors for his work, it seems like FD believed that hard work is 'for other people or maybe the little people'! We have the reports of FD visiting construction sites in designer garb and shoes and being annoyed about mud and dust on the sites. I do wonder if FD delusional tendencies included him believing that he was the same as the Farbers or better yet he was 'better than' the Farbers? At what point did FD start believing his own 'nonsense/BS'?

Its also fascinating how FD and MT 'hooked up' as they seem to be two peas in a pod. MT has IMO zero substantive work experience and seems to have glided from one guy to another over 15-20 years and done zero to build a business or wealth herself and seemed content to get wealth 'via relationships' so far as we can see from her history. Given her focus on wealth, I do wonder if she did get angry when she realised that FD really 'had no wealth'? Can you imagine the conversation between FD and MT where MT said, "...what do you mean we have to kill JF AND take the 5 children to get any money! You idiot, I didn't sign up for that and taking on 5 children that aren't even mine!". We saw the MT arrest photos and the bail hearing performance and her face IMO looked like a lot of crying had taken place. I do wonder if the crying reflected anger at wasting 3 years on a total loser like FD and realising that there was truly no money pot at the end of the rainbow and that she as a largely unemployable 45 yo female with limited prospects was well and truly 'washed up' and looking at many years in prison?

I am with you on the questions surrounding the disposal locations. FD had knowledge of NC having worked on in the area from around the time JF moved there with the children. My point is that he could have found a likely spot over the years and as other have said here pre planned everything. The area is surrounded by wooded areas so finding a spot would have been a doable exercise IMO.

If she had security cameras, FD would have already been charged with murder, IMO. The camera(s) would have him at her house on the day she “disappeared”, and the authorities wouldn’t need to find her body (although, of course they want to!). I don’t know why she wouldn’t have security cameras, but in my opinion, she didn’t, or else, they weren’t working.

Or she had some sort of security cameras, but he - after investigating them - knew the area they covered and avoided them. It's most likely he arrived from the back - behind the garage, from the street in the neighborhood behind Welles - where one of the driveways comes VERY close to the back of her garage. He likely snuck in the garage as she opened it upon her return, and if he ducked down, perhaps wasn't noticeable - certainly by her and possibly even by a camera.

Or, LE did see him on camera footage (either hers or her neighbor's) and hasn't reported it yet - they know a LOT more than we do!

You’d have to wonder about the Waze gaffe too. That road that goes through Pound Ridge has a variety of spots to hide a body. I wonder if he didn’t take his phone when disposing of the body and took it to Hartford only to throw the authorities off the trail somewhat.

With the newer built houses its typical to have a regular garage door or doors in addition to overhead doors or some rear or side entrance to a mud room area.

The wooded area to the rear of Welles is denser IMO than it appears on the satellite view. We also don't know the security situation of the house to the rear of Welles. Newer security systems have both cameras and motion sensors. I am not sure how possible it would be to carry a 120lb body through those woods? It might be possible to be dropped off or enter the Welles property from the woods to the property rear but I am not sure to leave Welles carrying a body in daylight would have been likely.

The other issue is that AW2 was unclear as to whether in the timeframe at Welles whether any vehicle left Welles or other vehicle arrived at Welles. So, we don't know if any accomplice arrived/left Welles or even if FD while at Welles left the property and returned. We simply have the info that JD arrives at Welles and FD is believed to have left Welles with the body of JD.

Yes, AW1 was clear that a 4 mile stretch of the Albany area was involved in the FD/MT ride in the Raptor.

In one of the video commentaries (posted earlier, by a guy who does some sort of online commentary 'show' who had enhanced Google earth and zoomed in - help me out with who this was please, Sleuthers! ) it was clear there was a back door to her garage, closer to that wooded area behind her house - a short walk from the neighborhood behind hers.

If he had jogged or gotten a ride by another car to her house, he would not have been noticeable on HER street, but perhaps was caught on someone's camera in the neighborhood behind hers, which was closest to the back of her garage. Hopefully LE was all over that neighborhood already.

The security camera at Welles is an 'open question' IMO as LE seems to be keeping this under wraps as AW photos used a neighbours cam system. If I had to guess I would say that there was a security cam at Welles and I also wonder if it was disabled by the perp in advance of JD arrival. We have seen so many examples of premeditation in this case so far and disabling the security cam would be just one more critical example IMO. There has to be a reason LE has not discussed the security situation at Welles and my suspicion is that we will hear more about it at some point. MOO

This is possible. Although newer security cameras should indicate if they are disabled, he could have done it that same day while she was dropping off the kids at school (he'd know that time frame very well) just before she arrived back at the house.

If so, he probably researched it thoroughly beforehand. Perhaps KW could give him tips, too?

Regarding the discussions about him taking the Raptor (fancy, expensive truck) onto Albany Ave (not a fancy/expensive area) to dispose of an unknown number of bags - a trip that included at least 30 stops according to AW1 - it seems most likely that:

1. He had planned this whole trip out earlier in detail
2. He knew exactly when that area/town picked up their trash, and where it went (to be shredded)
3. Regarding #1 - he had planned to be in EE's truck to do this ride! That little part of the plan was thwarted. That truck would NOT have stood out in that area.

Looks like Atty Bowman is falling on his 'sword' to protect MT IMO with this latest run to the Judge Affidavit which is so heavily redacted that it is functionally useless IMO. The odd thing about all these constitutionally based arguments to protect MT is that no matter what MT has done IMO these legal manoeuvres simply make what she has done seem even more deeply suspicious and most definitely worse than anything we can imagine here on WS! Sometimes where there is smoke there is a HUGE FIRE!

I also though question what Atty Bowman does/doesn't know about MT and what she has/hasn't done given that his client appeared to lie to him and LE for such a long period of time. I seriously question whether Atty Bowman knows anything and doesn't want to know anything and perhaps this is WHY he doesn't want MT deposed by anyone as the strategy is to say/do nothing in hopes of a State not able to prove its case against MT?

I very much hope that this latest motion isn't a cynical ploy to delay delay delay such as we have seen from the FD, KM and Atty BM crew. I still very much question whether MT and FD have been communicating and ditto for Atty Boman and Atty. P. Surprises happen every day in this case and if you had asked me months ago if we would see such games being played by Atty Bowman I would have answered, no. I guess he is just doing what he needs to do given the circumstances of his client/MT, but to see him 'going low' by not following court protocol and copying Plaintiff atty on motion filings and going to a Judge to get a certified form to me at least smacks of pure desperation and absolute lack of options.

My sincere hope is that Atty Weinstein fights these legal games into the highest court in CT even if it means a delay in the trial date as in part I believe the Atty Bowman tactics to be cynically done given the 12/3 trial date as well. Sometimes the only way to fight fire is with fire and IMO Atty Weinstein's needs to 'fire up' the 'flame thrower' for this entire crew of individuals from FD to MT!

Yep, gotta love the election cycle and its impact on the Selectmen of NC.... Needless to say I will be voting "NO" on Moynihan come election day as his response/his cronies and his seeming inability to control the Police Board and NCPD Chief on the Waveny camera situation was deplorable and IMO also irresponsible given his charge to protect the citizens of NC.

ITs great to see that a broader approach to security cameras is being taken but based on what we have seen over the years it doesn't appear that this issue was ANYWHERE on FS Moynihan's radar previously IMO. I do cynically wonder if this is all being done for the election and then will conveniently be put in the 'back seat' post election as it has so many times in the past? I hope not but anything having to do with this issue IMO need to be fully verified when/if cameras ever do get installed as this is a political philosophy issue with many of the politicians involved IMO.

I just keep thinking and re-thinking FD's movements that fateful morning.

IMO despite his planning, he did not anticipate the breadth of the clean up and it put him waaaay behind schedule. IMO he had a disposal site selected and prepared, no way he left that to chance.

Maybe Sturbridge or adjacent woods were the intended destination, but by the time he finally rolled up in JD's Suburban, EE was already there so FD aborted his plan, went direct to Waveny and made the risky transfer to the truck. If that was not his original plan, maybe he didn't have a tarp to cover the bed and couldn't risk any bags blowing out while he was driving down the interstate or having a trucker look down and see something, thus he was forced to put everything in the cab, requiring the extensive clean up of EE's truck. MOO

Alternatively IMO, upon his later than planned arrival at Sturbridge, he took a chance on EE being occupied with door hardware and hurriedly put something(s) or someone in the dumpster, returning early the next day to remove it or further conceal it. Maybe that is why FD subsequently asked EE if he had seen anything that day? Hoping there is footage from a neighbor's CCTV or Doorbell cam of passing vehicles. MOO

I am curious whose fingerprints are on the tape used to modify the license plate.

I was surprised that EE arrived at work at some time like 9.30am (IIRC). Isn’t that late in the building trade? The AW alluded to him having been somewhere else beforehand. Now, with your suggestion that FD may have intended to take JF /body to Sturbridge but was delayed by his underestimation of bloodshed, I wonder whether FD told EE to get there late that day. Maybe to have a lie-in or go via a hardware store to pick up different door handles.

I feel Atty Weinstein's sheer frustration coming through in this motion. He is absolutely correct that this particular discovery is a year old. What is so hard to see over and over IMO is the same delay and delay some more tactics being used by FD and his attys. What is also hard to see is that Judge Noble has done zero that I can see to compel discovery compliance from FD/KM/Atty BM at all. My sense is that this latest delay technique is being done to make it impossible to hold to the 12/3 trial date. I am not sure if Judge Nobel has limited staff or is simply overworked but this case needs some real judicial focus IMO or IT WILL NEVER MAKE THE TRIAL DATE. Overall the situation is ridiculous and the fishing expeditions from FD, KM and Atty BM seem never ending. Not sure how to break this cycle and how to handle the situation of a Judge not seeming to do their job? The fact that it seems that Atty Bowman has entered the fray with this delay routine and is now sending in motions that are 'sealed' to the Plaintiff take this situation to a whole different level IMO. Something clearly needs to be done in terms of case management and perhaps we need a new Judge? IDK but this situation seems to be spiralling and out of control IMO. MOO
